Just wrapped up this book and boy is it one of my favorites. The whole Evans family is incredibly gifted. When I first started this study and reading this book, I wasn’t in a battle but he says “You are always preparing for a battle, in a battle or finishing a battle”.

During this study, I was preparing, but I wasn’t sure “for what”. Now we are in a battle and every time I pick up this book, God sends me whispers of encouragement letting me know He’s right there with us.

No matter where you are in life right now, this book will bless your soul and either encourage you through or prepare you for what’s to come ❤️

Everyone knows and loves Tony Evans, but I had the opportunity to hear Jonathan Evans speak last year at an event and it was so amazing. The way he speaks, preaches and writes is direct, relatable and pierces you right in the heart. I loved everything about this book and how it pushed me to prepare BEFORE the battles of life begins.

I really like the author's story and the various descriptions and struggles that he has gone through.

I thought it was a really great book and really well written.

This was another great guide for Christian men writen by NFL Chaplin and speakerJohnathan Evans. It is a worth while read to get more out of your faith and deal with the battles in your life.

Es un libro que en principio no tenía interés por leer, ya que formó parte de un club de lectura y pensé que sería la lectura motivacional y con una idea de Dios muy a los positivo.
Sin embargo me sorprendió pues a lo largo de cada capítulo nos muestra las verdades bíblicas que ignoramos aún sabiendo lo importante que son para la vida del creyente. Una de ellas es la oración y lectura bíblica, así como congregarnos y ser una llama que arda de tal manera que el mundo se vea atraído por nuestro fuego y calor. Pero somos arrogantes y egoístas pensando en nuestras propias batallas cuando aún todo el proceso es para su gloria, gloria y honra de Dios.
