My family has three cats sharing our home with us, so I am partial to children's books that center around felines. You can tell the author is team cat too. :)
Our kitties have a cat tube, which one is always in or near - just like the photo in the book.
They are always watching squirrels outside too.
The book does contain activities that, for the most part, are best utilized in a print copy. Answer key is included!
There were some design issues, sizing and word(s) placement, but the story itself was nice and worth reading.

A delightful story book that is also a puzzle book at the same time and rhymes. It's a nice combination by the author and illustrator with some additional images from an external source. It is fun for children to read to learn about Smokey's day and also to solve the puzzles towards the end of the book. The answers are also included. It also makes you love this cat.

Reading and active book for kids
This is a great rhyming and active work along with book that kids will enjoy. I was pleasantly surprised that this book included so many things they can will learn after reading this book and nice bright illustrations.

I enjoyed this little rhyming tale of Smoky, who plays with his toys, sleeps on the purple becomes, and watches through the window. He reminds me of my own cat, so it was almost like reading about him.

What a sweet book that takes you on and adventure with Smokey the cat! He never has a dull moment, from hide an seek, to enjoying his favorite berries and exploring the outdoors! Great illustrations and cat lovers will love Smokey!

This book is super sweet and a fun one to read. I think everyone would enjoy this book, but especially cat lovers. The illustrations are cute. The fun activities at the back are a bonus.

Smokey the cat is a good book for children to read. As they are reading, they will be amazed by those rhyming sentences, which make the story way more interesting. I would recommend my students to read out loud of this book, then come out with their own rhyming sentences about their pet!

This is a short, picture book about a Cat who loves his life and his home. In this book, young readers will learn about how Smokey spends his day. I read this book to my niece and she enjoyed Smokey’s story but wished the story was a bit longer. The author does make up for the length of the story by including activities at the end of the book which allows opportunities to interact with the text.
