I think Nick and Holly lost their spark for me. 🥺

I'm not sure why but the last two Nick and Holly books have left me feeling a bit meh. The story is kind of all over the place, the spice isn't exciting anymore and I just don't feel like they have so much to give to continue their story over more books. There was the new pet which was exciting but that was all. I have a hard time seeing the spark between them.

I can't find anything that I hated in the book but the feelings you get when you read a particularly good book aren't there.

1 star for the angel that is Nick, 1 star for Holly and her personality flourish and half a star for a puppy!

Nick and Holly's relationship is so pure and sweet it feels like a warm cup of tea on a chilly morning. Nick is careful and considerate, and they're both actively trying to grow together.

This series is a true comfort read - if you want some sweet HEA novellas, with minimal drama this is the series for you.

And there'll be a wedding soon which I already know will be just the sweetest.

It’s always amazing to catch up with Nick and Holly 😍

This one focuses on Nick’s birthday and a trip to his cabin where they will soon be married!
We see more of Nick’s children Charlotte and Henry and we get the tease of an upcoming new story focusing on Henry (and I’m going to guess Emmy!) which was announced at the end of this book.
The spice was present as always and it’s still as satisfying as we’ve seen in their previous instalments. ‘Daddy’ and ‘Baby girl’ will forever make me think of Nick and Holly 🔥
I felt more love between them in this one than I think I have previously (rather than ‘just’ spice) - which isn’t a complaint btw - and was a nice build up to what I hope will be their wedding in the next book!

I swear I can never get enough of these two. When I tell you I went back and reread the previous novellas of Nick and Holly for the second time before reading this one and I obsessed over every second of it I'm not lying.

I really enjoyed seeing these two develop further into their relationship as a couple, experience a little communication difficulties that all couples experience and grow as individuals as well. Seeing more of Nick's kids and their relationship with Holy warmed my heart also. And I know your all waiting to hear about the spicy spicy, let me tell you WOOOOOOO baby Dana Islay never disappoints. I started it at work and then decided I needed to continue in the privacy of my own room LOL. Again like I've said in previous review's the way that this is written allows you to feel safe when you are considering kinks and sexual explorations and I am so here for that. This was what I needed to get me out of my reading rut and I can't wait for more!!

I love being able to revisit Nick and Hollys story. As soon as I saw this book was releasing, I immediately texted two of my friends that love this series as much as I do. Nick and Holly are so amazing together. Seeing a couple with so much love and adoration of each other is just perfect! Women need to know how to be treated and Nick is the perfect example of love, tenderness, and communication. I can’t wait for their wedding story! Dana is one of those authors that as soon as a book is released, I am chomping at the bit to get my hands on it to read asap! Lol. I can’t wait to read more from her.

these two are so much fun! 🔥

I absolutely love Nick and Holly! Getting little snippets of their life is like a breath of fresh air. Plus they are just so steamy I live for it!! Their relationship is one I wish to have one day, not even necessarily the age gap, but definitely the strength it has.

I will absolutely continue to read this series until it’s no longer, even then if will be books I reread forever. This is definitely a book and a series I think other will enjoy!

We get to Nick and Holly adopt a dog which was super cute, Holly got a funishment and it was HOT! Nick and Holly are about to get married which is super cute. Still love that he loves her for who she is and not about her size!

ARC Review - Nick and Holly are like my comfort couple. They are so adorable, and there is so much love between them. Whenever I want something that is short, spicy, and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, I know Dana will gimme that fix with Nick and Holly. This book is about them celebrating Nick’s birthday, but there is so much to it. I am SO excited for their wedding book, and to see what else can come from their stories. Well done Dana ❤️

i have loved following nick and holly’s story since the beginning. but after the disappointment i felt after the last book, i was a bit nervous. although not better than the first or second books, this one absolutely redeemed the series for me. cannot wait to see more of them for their wedding!
