This was one of the best short athletic romances stories I’ve read. The two main characters Alex and Chloe were just so amazing. I will not give any spoilers but you definitely need to read this story. The plot was on point. It was a realistic, funny, Witty and down to earth with a pinch of spice. Chloe is a girl after my own heart. 💜❤️🖤 Alex is a man I would love to meet I real life!

Steamy, spicy, and swoonworthy novella I highly recommend. This brother’s best friend, hockey romance is everything I needed and wanted! I loved Alex and Chloe together. They had intense chemistry and were so hot together! I loved the introverted h with the confident H and how he helped her get out of that shell! I absolutely loved this fun, hilarious, sexy read!

Taylor and Alex, are teammates on a hockey team. After a win, Taylor wants to know if, Alex will finally be joining the team for a drink, at the bar they all go to. Surprising, Taylor, Alex says, yes. But, only the team, not with the puck bunnies like, Taylor suggested. By the look, he can see, Taylor thinks he is, nuts.
But, Alex explains it's getting old, waking up without a special someone, next to him. Or not remembering the chick's name that is, in bed with you. He’s over it. He's looking for, more. Alex is the last one out of the locker room, and runs right into, a sexy beautiful woman. She is totally unfazed, by him. In fact, she is trying, to look around him, to see if anyone else will be, coming out.
Then all of a sudden, he figures it out, she is Taylor's sister, Chloe. He introduces himself and says he knows her brother their best friend, he then lets her know he had left already for the bar. She says thanks and turns to leave. Not at all fazed by him. When he calls out a little bantering happens. All in good fun but make him all the more intrigued by her. This made me laugh.
Then, the morning after brother and sister are having breakfast at, a diner. Taylor lets her know, Alex is interested, in her. She is totally taken aback, by that. A. Because of his fame. B. Because he is who, he is. As well as, her being who, she is. ( geeky, fat, nerd) In her head, he would only do this as, a joke, or something. The exchange at the diner is hilarious. Loved it. He tells his sister to give him a chance he’s a good guy and his best friend. Finally, a brother that makes sense.
Alex is smooth, maybe a little over the top, but he does command a room, with flowers. Yup, he sends Chloe an office full of, flowers. In various arrangements and types, his smartest move ever, are his corny hockey jokes and extending his phone number, for her to call him, or text him. Guess what, she does. The text does become more. When she is with him she feels beautiful and alive.
However, when her mean catty cousin needs a helping hand, of course, Chloe says, yes. But, in her next breath insults her. Chloe still agrees to do the favor for her. When Taylor tells, Alex that his sister is going to be a part of his cousin's wedding if he wants to show up. In introductions, to some hometown dweeb, the guy insults, Chloe a couple, of times. This stems from, the guy asking if, Alex is dating anyone, and that's when Taylor removes said, dweeb away. What offends, Alex the worst, is that Taylor didn't react at all, to the fact that this overgrown lug was insulting, his sister. And he never reacted.
Very short story. Has all the elements you need for an OTT, romance, older brother romance. I liked it.

nice to read a book once where the brother has confidence in his best friend and says right away you should try to date HIM.
chloe and alex are a good match. It was nice that after his first arrogant impression he adapted. I really don't understand why people look down on other people if it doesn't fit their ideal. I'm glad Cloe got over it. It was a great book to read and I definitely recommend it.

Absolutely love the newest book in the New York Storm series. Alex is done with random hookups and when he meets Chloe his teammates sister she truly gives him a run for his money. I love how they find that perfect ending and I truly enjoy every book this author writes.

Alex and Chloe’s story was awesome! Chloe was a quiet curvy girl who prefers a quiet night at home to going out to loud places with lots of people. She meets Alex when waiting for her brother after a Storm hockey game. Alex takes an immediate interest in Chloe and asks his best friend about his sister. Alex has been made out to be a playboy but really he’s down to earth and looking for someone to fall in love with and settle down. Chloe’s self esteem has taken a hit and Alex has his work cut out for him if he wants Chloe to see the intelligent, beautiful woman she is. Alex is a professional hockey player and is known as the team playboy but when he runs into Chloe his best friend's little sister she turns him into a one woman man. Chloe and Alex are complete opposites and she's not impressed with him or his reputation but Alex is determined to win her over. This is a big brother's best friend, opposites attract, sports romance with likable characters, fun banter, steam, and a sweet happily ever after. Puck Me is part of the multi-author New York Storm series and I look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This book is sweet, steamy, humurous, and endlessly fun! What can I say other than I LOVED every Pucking moment of it!!!
For a short story, Elyse certainly packed a whole lotta swoon, emotion, and major sexy-ness into this novella!Right from the start, Alex and Chloe had this amazing spark...a chemistry that I just couldn't get enough of!
These two were so much fun that I never wanted their story to end!
Alex was oh so DREAMY! You gotta love a big ol' Cinnamon Roll Alpha that's ALL IN and is determined to prove to his "Baby Girl" that she's the ONLY one for him. Can I just say YES PLEASE!

I really enjoyed this book. Alex and Chloe were cute together and I enjoyed their story. My only complaint is I wish there had been an epilogue into the future for them.

Okay, so this was a fun, quick hockey romance read! I really loved Alex and Chloe’s love story. I could relate to Chloe’s insecurities because I’ve been in that position before, and that alone made her a very relatable character to me. I also loved how sweet Alex was, and how he was willing to stand up for what he wanted. All in all, this was a really fun, sexy read, and I highly recommend!

I fell in love with Alex….he was dreamy, an Alpha, and protective. Chloe is Alex’s best friend’s younger sister. Alex is used to women falling all over him and Chloe refuses to be that kind of woman. Chloe is a bit of an introvert and partly a geek.

Alex saw Chloe and was intrigued. Chloe is his best friend and teammates little sister. I was happy he was upfront about his intentions. I loved how Chloe and Alex had a little flirtation prior to going on a date. I hated how people made Chloe feel about her weight and about being smart. It’s typical societal stress. I was glad that Alex showed Chloe that there’s nothing wrong with her. This was a very good book! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Who said curvy girls cannot capture a hot athletes full attention....Chloe was what Alex was missing from his life and when they literally crashed into each other, the stage for the wooing was set. Puck Me: New York Storm is an amazing story. Alex is missing something in his life he just isn’t sure what until he literally runs into Chloe, his best friends sister after a game. He knew from the mime he met her she would be his everything but the harsh reality of dating a hockey player might be more than an introverted girl can take. Chloe has confidence issues and it’s hard to believe Alex would want someone like her especially when people who are supposed to be on her side point out their differences. Can Chloe believe what Alex tells her? Such a great storyline and lovable characters. I really enjoyed this book. I would definitely recommend this book.

This was super cute!!
Alex is the hotshot hockey player that can get any woman that he wants, but he is ready for something real. Then he runs into Chloe, literally, and his world is turned upside down. Chloe is a book-nerd, and is confused as to why Alex would want a girl like her. But, Alex, he does everything in order to get a date with her. Flower, sweet notes, random food deliveries, he is just all around a great guy.
The chemistry between the two was insane!!! And the swoon!! I loved how Alex would not give up and was always there to reassure Chloe. My weakness is an alpha male that gets all soft and sweet for his girl, and Alex did that. Nothing or no one would come in-between them!

WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.
Alex meets Chloe after the New York Storm win the championship. All his teammates are headed out to celebrate. When Alex leaves the locker room he runs into Chloe who is looking for her brother Taylor also Alex's best friend. She doesn't know who Alex is and really doesn't care so she lets him know. That sparks an interest in Alex and when he finds out who she is looking for he really can't believe she doesn't know who he is. Alex asks Chloe to go to dinner with him but she refuses. So he talks to Chloe's brother Taylor and finds out everything he can about her. He sends flowers to her office and leaves his number. She messages him that she's still not interest in a player They exchange messages back and forth and get to know one another over the next few weeks. When Alex goes to her office and Chloe's assistant gangs up on her she finally agrees to one dinner date with Alex. They have dinner where Chloe chooses and then head to the book store. She then asks Alex if he wants to go her apartment. They end up in bed together and he spends the night, he tells her he wants to spend the day with her and she tells him she is just running some errands. Alex takes her back to his place so he can grab a change of clothes then he spend the day with her. She asks him if he wants to go back to her place and watch a movie. Chloe's cousin calls and asks her if she can fill in for one of her bridesmaids who just had a baby, her cousin also doesn't believe she is dating a hockey star. Chloe doesn't tell Alex about the wedding he finds out about it from her brother Taylor. Alex makes arrangements to go to the wedding. When he arrives he finds Chloe taking to the bride who is telling her how much of a player Alex is and would never stay with someone like Chloe. So Chloe starts to doubt their relationship. Alex gets Chloe to dance with him at the wedding. Someone takes a picture of them and then it get published in a gossip magazine. Alex shows up at her work and finds her crying, she breaks up with him and asks him to leave. Chloe's assistant talks to Alex who finds out about the article and that someone is following him. Later Alex finds Chloe at a bookstore and shows her the new article, she tells him she doesn't want to read it when he can tell her. Alex meets Chloe after the New York Storm win the championship. All his teammates are headed out to celebrate. When Alex leaves the locker room he runs into Chloe who is looking for her brother Taylor also Alex's best friend. She doesn't know who Alex is and really doesn't care so she lets him know. That sparks an interest in Alex and when he finds out who she is looking for he really can't believe she doesn't know who he is. Alex asks Chloe to go to dinner with him but she refuses. So he talks to Chloe's brother Taylor and finds out everything he can about her. He sends flowers to her office and leaves his number. She messages him that she's still not interest in a player They exchange messages back and forth and get to know one another over the next few weeks. When Alex goes to her office and Chloe's assistant gangs up on her she finally agrees to one dinner date with Alex. They have dinner where Chloe chooses and then head to the book store. She then asks Alex if he wants to go her apartment. They end up in bed together and he spends the night, he tells her he wants to spend the day with her and she tells him she is just running some errands. Alex takes her back to his place so he can grab a change of clothes then he spend the day with her. She asks him if he wants to go back to her place and watch a movie. Chloe's cousin calls and asks her if she can fill in for one of her bridesmaids who just had a baby, her cousin also doesn't believe she is dating a hockey star.
