What’s the best way to win a dream opportunity working with one of the top fashion houses in Paris?
Well, it's definitely not bursting through the wrong door during a weird ice-breaker game and twerking in front of the sexiest man alive.

Take my word for it.

Simon Corbin.
He’s the face of House Corbin, which means his jaw can cut glass, his eyes are dreamy, and his body is built for sin. Every woman wants him and every man wants to be him. But he’s also an executive who can send me right back home before the competition even begins.

Except he doesn’t.

Instead, he shows me the city, revealing himself in the process. And Simon is full of deep secrets, alluring fantasies, and forbidden passion.

If I let this fire ignite between us, will it burn my whole world down around me, leaving my fashion dreams in ruins?

spunky, can-do girl taking France by storm.

I really enjoyed this book 📖 couldn’t put it down ......I want a Simon please because he is hot hot hot 🥵 with a capital HOT ....🤤😋 ? French kiss is my kind of kissing

I must say that believe or not I really enjoy the language barriers…. the translation was hilarious a Time.Quite a lots of laugh out loud moments there

Autumn Fisher, a NYC designer from small-town Massachusetts. And she came to life the day she arrived in the Big Apple for school at the Fashion Institute of Technology

Nora is one of Autumn’s closes friends as well as her mentor and employer….
Nora had encouraged her to complete an application as her first post-graduation project.
Due to Autumn’s mentor, she is now going to Paris, France to design for House Corbin. For all-expense-paid for one whole month …… for amazing competition and opportunity of her life’s work
Autumn cannot afford to mess things up, but is easier said then done when she meets Simon Corbin, executive director of House Corbin

Yes, this book is predictable (although not without some twists), yes there is the instal-love thing going on, yes it can borderline on cheesy, regardless of all those things... this is a very enjoyable read.

I was literally laughing out loud on several occasions. Simon is hilarious. So If you are looking for that light hearted, quick read that will make you laugh look no further!!

POV: Dual
Spice: 🌶 🌶 🌶 🌶

I didn’t know that I needed the steamy book baby of The Devil Wears Prada, Emily in Paris, and Project Runway, but luckily Lauren Landish knew that I did because I couldn’t put this one down!

Simon is absolutely perfect with his French accent, model looks, and soft side, as well as how he was completely taken by Autumn from first sight, while Autumn is a hilarious free spirit and I loved her focus on size inclusion in the fashion world! These two had a really funny meet cute that you won’t want to miss.

This book felt like a night out with my good friends with the girl group shenanigans and so many laugh out loud moments! I loved how everything turned out and the even more perfect epilogue. I could read a hundred more books about Simon, Autumn, and their friends!

Hot Mess Express- pass on this one!!

Should’ve stopped this one but liked Landish’s Truth/Dare duet well enough so read all the way through.
This book is ALL over the place, trying to do way too much in what could’ve been a cute story. Are we BDSM? Are we philanthropic, fighting for the orphans? Are we feminist, outraged at thin models? Landish needed to pick one thing and go with it. Instead, She tried to throw everything into this story and ended up doing nothing well.

At Last, My Love Has Come Along... 5 STARS/HEARTS!

Let me just say... SQUEEEEEEE!!!!!! I love when an author writes a novel that has me smiling from beginning and doing a little happy dance at the end. I loved the storyline, hero, heroine, supporting cast, when the emotions feel genuine, some comedy and deep abiding love between the hero and the heroine. I feel that author gave me all of the feels and she was so effective that Autum and Simon's story stayed with me.

Autum is a smalltown girl with international dreams. Working for her good friend has not only created a lovely friendship but also a staunch supporter of her dreams and provides Autum an education in the fashion world that not many get and even fewer survive. Autum was introduced to fashion at a young age and has been her passion all of her life. So, when she finds out that she will be working with the premier fashion house in Paris with an Icon in fashion Autum's mind is blown! This is Autum's time to shine and as she strides towards her destiny, Autum stumbles into the hottest man she has ever seen and now he's on the hunt! Will Autum chase after her dream or will she be derailed?

To look at Simon, a former fasion model, one would think that his life was easy. All the beautiful women he could want, sexy cars and money out of the wazoo he has definitely got it made! Yet on the flip side of that coin Simon has a heart of gold who has traveled the world and is aware of heartbreaks that can change a person's life at the drop of a dime. Simon is the executive director of the premiere fashion dynasty House Corbin and he takes his job seriously. Yet in the midst of an important meeting a sexy young thing backed her booty into the midst of his meeting! Who is she and where did she come from? Simon is a man who knows what he wants, and he wants the booty shaker... but will she want him? How far will Simon go to be with the woman he loves???

I am hoping with everything in me that there are at least 4 additional novels that are in the works for this wonderful cast. I loved the friendships that turned into family and the realness and honesty of the characters. I would love to hand with this crew because they are absolutely FABULOUS! The author hit this one out of the park and I am so glad that I was here for every minute of it! This one will be added to one of my all-time favorites... BRAVO!!!

Autumn Fisher’s dreams come true when she finds herself heading to Paris to design for House Corbin. Along with four other under 25s she has the opportunity to show her skills, from drawing board, to runway, at some of the most revered fashion shows in Paris. What she wasn’t expecting however was Simon Corbin, the nephew of House Corbin’s owner Jaqueline, hand the idea behind this competition to get some fresh young designs in House Corbin. He’s also got his eye on the fiery read-head designer from America, who it seems, is one of the few women to not be taken in by his charm. Or is she? But they’re playing with fire. Nothing else seems to matter though when they’re together, visiting the sites of Paris, being young and free. However, they both have responsibilities to House Corbin, and if they don’t get in line with Jaqueline’s plan, there will be consequences. Some fantastic characters bring this story to life. A refreshing, entertaining and fun romance with some unexpected twists. I loved it. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

Your flaws are perfect for the heart that is meant to love you...

Autumn and Simon's story is captivating and alluring. You experience their journey of discovery and realization that love isn't something you find, it's something that finds you. Autumn, born and raised in a small town did not have dreams of being a wife and mother with the white picket fence, at least not yet. Her dreams were calling her to become a well known and respected fashion designer. She starts in New York and is taken into the fold of Jacobs Fashion House. Her hard work and talent lead her to an opportunity of a lifetime in Paris, and Simon Corbin.

Jacqueline Corbin is the cream of the crop in designers and Simon is her nephew. Simon is gorgeous, sexy and oozes confidence. Simon and Autumn find themselves unexpectedly attracted to each other. Autumn soon discovers there is more to Simon than meets the eye.

This story was a joy to read as Lauren takes us behind the scenes of the fashion industry. This read is emotional, passionate and a heartfelt ride. It will draw you in and quickly attach to your heartstrings. I found myself flying through the pages to see what happened next.

Autumn grew up in small town Massachusetts and followed her dreams at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where she quickly lands a job with a fashion house. Jacobs is not a huge fashion house, but they are well respected, sales are good and it feels like...home. Imagine Autumn's surprise when the House of Corbin's CEO comes calling. Autumn is invited to join them in France and is swept up and on her way to Paris. Jacqueline Corbin is one of the top designers in the world. Her nephew, Simon, is Executive Director as well as a highly sought after model. Simon meets Autumn by chance and even though she's completely embarrassed and slightly humiliated, Simon is enchanted and maybe even a little obsessed with her after that first encounter. Much to his aunt's dismay, they soon become inseparable. Autumn's purpose for this trip was to learn more about the fashion industry and maybe get to work closely with Jacqueline, which would be a huge opportunity. Autumn knows Simon has a playboy reputation, all the other designers have been gossiping. Simon can be very persuasive and as Autumn gets to know the man he truly is, she is helpless to deny him. Soon both need reassurances that they're not alone in their growing feelings. But fashion can be a cut throat business and things, and people, aren't always what they seem, especially when money and power are on the line.
OKAY, FIRST AND FOREMOST, YOU REALLY NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!!! WHAT A PAGE TURNER! IT PULLED ME IN FROM THE BEGINNING AND KEPT ME RIVETED UNTIL THE END! THE CHARACTERS WERE UNIQUE, EMOTIONAL AND ROMANTIC💕 I LOVED EVERY CHAPTER!!! FANTASTIC READ!!!

Autumn knew from an early are that she wanted to be a clothing designer. Her dreams are slowly coming true, she is working in the business after all. When she wins a contest to travel to Paris, to work with one of the top fashion houses there, she can imagine her dreams comes true much sooner, or at least she hopes so. Simon Corbin is an executive of, and the face of House Corbin. It was his idea to have the contest which would bring five aspiring fashion designers to Paris and hopefully breathe new life into House Corbin. When Autumn accidentally interrupts a meeting, he realizes that not only is she nothing like any other woman he knows, her wants her in his life. Unfortunately, Autumn is determined to focus on the contest, and she knows about his reputation with women. Corbin will have his work cut out for him to convince her to give him a chance.
Absolutely wonderful, well written characters who are compelling, unique and will quickly realize that there is someone who doesn’t want to see their relationship work and will do nearly anything to keep them apart. I think this is a must-read laugh out loud funny romantic comedy with plenty of steam, some unexpected twists in the plot and a very satisfying happily ever after. I highly recommend this book.

Autumn is Flown to Paris where she meet some other girls who are being consider for the same contest. Simon meet Autumn when she interrupts his meeting while she is dancing and singing. He was really taken with her and her curvy body. They get together and have a good time he calls her princesse , he shows her around Paris. He was so good to her worshiped and took really good care of her . His Aunt doesn’t want them seeing each other. Simon and Autumn develops deep feelings . So Simon think he secretly see her. But that wasn’t true .Jacqueline showed out at the fashion show that what she say is what she expects with her nephew. It was a exciting book to read so much going on

I enjoyed this... other than the MMC. I would have been happier without his POVs. Other than that, I really liked it!

full review:

Think Emily in Paris meets A Dress for the Wicked, but spicy ;)

I have always enjoyed reading books with competitions in them, and this was no different! I thought the whole story was written pretty well and I really liked Autumn.

Autumn is invited to participate in this design competition in Paris for a huge fashion house. She meets Simon, the nephew of the head of said fashion house, and they have an instant connection. I thought their chemistry was great and the spice was good too! I loved reading about the different designs she and her fellow competitors created, and seeing her build connections with those girls.

the only complaint I have is that I didn't like Simon. I liked him from Autumn's pov! but his... I thought his povs were annoying and seemed kind of repetitive, so that kind of was a bummer bc I usually love dual povs. his just didn't really add much of anything to the story tho.

Overall, I liked it and would definitely recommend if your a fan of the show Emily in Paris and the book A Dress for the Wicked!

An American in Paris for a project runway-esque competition…

And she meets her devoted cinnamon roll billionaire model hero when she accidentally dances into his business meeting wearing next-to-nothing and singing WAP at the top of her lungs. 😂 But it turns out - he’s a judge! Seriously, what could be better?!

I loved this romcom! And OMG Simon is awesome! He’s so dang devoted and chooses her and never stops doing so! There are a lot of mentions of Harry Potter so avoid this story if that’s going to bother you. But understand, it’s an awesome story. The spice is NICE! These two love to experiment - smex dungeon anyone?!

I seriously loved this one and I cannot thank the author enough for my ARC…I’m still shocked and deeply honored that I was given early access to this story!

I liked everything about this one. The contest held at a fashion house in Paris, Autumn, coming from America in search of making it big and Simon, the good looking guy who is so much more than he appears. Their story was sweet and full of plenty of drama along with the process and issues with contest, I found this story one I did not want to put down.

Lauren has done it again! I must say at first it was a slow pace but when it picked up I couldn’t put it down. Autumn followed her dreams to New York after the fashion institute but she dreamed of being a big designer someday so when she is chosen to compete in the House of Corbin in France she is beyond excited. But there is a complication she didn’t expect Simon the nephew of the House of Corbin and a dangerous temptation. Really enjoyed this story.

Peeps, if you have not read a Lauren book, you need to get on that pronto.

I loved Autumn. When she twerked in Simon's office by mistake, oh holy crap, that was just plain funny. I could totally see myself making that mistake and NEVER living it down.

Simon is the nephew of the prestigious owner of House Corbin. I really loved his character and he and Autumn were so good for each other.

I just love Lauren's writing and she never disappoints. What a fantastic read. Kudos!

3.5 Stars.
The book was good I guess. It started of very well and I was thoroughly enjoying it at first. The chase, the banter, everything was just *chef's kiss*. But around the middle up till the end, the book just felt dragged and sort of repetitive and I just couldn't wait to finish it. I liked the book yeah, but I just expected more...
Now unto the characters, I loved Molly. She gave me second hand embarrassment most of the time but still she was one of the best characters in the book. The other designers were ok too. We didn't really get to know them that well. I would have slapped Beatrice in the face multiple times though. Jacqueline was an overall horrible person and her half-assed apology would have done nothing for me. She and Beatrice should have been lit on fire for a short while for what they did.
Miss Autumn is too nice for her own good. If she had a backbone, maybe, just maybe, people wouldn't have used her to play football. I don't know why but I feel like she is a chronically online 'woke' person. In total, I like her but not that much. I like Molly more.
As for Daddy Simon, all I can say is WOW!! Simon is just so fine. He is the epitome of handsomeness and he is just lovely. Plus the way he talks to Autumn... and they say chivalry is dead! If Simon ran me over with a trailer filled with cement, I would say thank you and ask for a repeat.
Would I recommend this book to someone? Yes I would. If you are looking for a spice and drama filled book with good communication, a hot MMC and an overly nice FMC, then this book is be absolutely perfect for you.

Oh so good!!!

Unbelievable! These two were so hot from the very beginning. Autumn Fisher has moved from a small town to New York City to reach her dream. She wants to be the fashion designer for all women. Not just the models. She won the chance to go to Paris as one of 5 women under 25 to get the opportunity to make a name for themselves under the highly respected House Corbin name.

When Autumn gets to Paris she meets the others in the contest and thankfully one was her good friend, Molly from design school. Things get interesting fast when Autumn accidentally goes into the wrong room and meets the male heir to House Corbin, Simon Corbin. All I can say is their meeting had me laughing hard.

All of the competitors have a great relationship and I never laughed so hard than at all of their comments about sex with men from around the world.

Simon is amazing! His knowledge of the business as well as his work ethics are immense. His problem is his extreme want of this gorgeous redhead in his competition. It is totally wrong to go after one of the women, but he just can't help himself. She's not at all like the women that throw themselves at him. Simon also has some secrets he won't tell anyone. But he wants to tell Autumn.

I love the characters! Molly is a hoot and will keep you laughing. Tobias is a great friend for Simon. Ha, and Xerxes is Simon's dog with an attitude! Simon's boys are also very fun to follow.

What a great book! I NEED MORE!!! I want stories on all of them, seriously! Lol

Definitely put this on TOP of your pile to be read. Thanks again Lauren Landish for a one of a kind story! Enjoy

I received this ebook ARC, from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review.
I cannot get enough of the books written by Lauren Landish. Her books have me hooked from the first page, and I want to read quickly, to get to the HEA, but I also want to savor the whole story slowly.
Simon is a bachelor, abandoned at an orphanage, as a child, raised by his cold hearted aunt, and he has never felt loved. He works at his aunts fashion house, but never feels appreciated.
Autumn is a fashion designer, determined to make it in the fashion world, even though her mother disapproves of her life. She works with a close friend, who owns a fashion design business in New York. While working there, she receives a phone call with the opportunity to enter into a fashion design competition in Paris.
Autumn arrives in Paris, and the fashion studio, but inadvertently opens the wrong door, and Simon gets a glimpse of her body, he immediately feels an attraction to her. A relationship between Simon and Autumn develops slowly, as he shows her around Paris. His aunt forbids them from seeing each other, but they continue in secrecy.
The night of the final fashion competition, things go completely bad for Autumn, thru no fault of hers. She realizes that Simon’s aunt intentionally ruined her dress designs, and she returns back to New York, but sadly misses Simon. With the help of Autumn’s best friend, Molly, Simon finally convinces Autumn to forgive him, and they both admit their true feelings towards each other. The story ends with all their problems resolved, and the couple reach their HEA.
I have read several books written by Lauren Landish, and they are always well written with great characters, and a beautiful romantic story. I wish that I could have given this book more stars, and I highly recommend this book.

Autumn Fisher is an up and coming fashion designer, so when she gets called to Paris for an opportunity with THE Jacqueline Corbin of House Corbin, she’s absolutely thrilled. Autumn is determined to work hard and impress Jacqueline with her designs, but what she wasn’t counting on was Simon Corbin, Jacqueline’s sexy model nephew. Since Simon is such a monumental part of House Corbin, Autumn knows from the start that she shouldn’t get involved with him. The more he pursues her, the more he wears her down… but could this conflict of interest destroy everything she’s worked so hard for?

Oh. My. Gosh. This was my first Lauren Landish book, but I know for a fact that I’m going back to read everything else she’s written! “The French Kiss” is a funny and steamy workplace romance that will have you laughing out loud one moment and then ready to throw your kindle at the wall at the next. Reading this book put me in an instant good mood, and I loved everything about it. Autumn and Simon’s relationship was full of witty banter, sinful steam, and perfectly swoony moments that will make you absolutely fall in love with them. I also really loved Autumn’s relationship with the other girls in the competition, as well as Simon’s dedication to helping the boys at the orphanage. All in all, this was an extremely enjoyable read, and I highly recommend!!!

This is a wonderful story about Autumn who works in NY helping her boss Nora design fashion and one day is offered the chance to compete in Paris, at House Corbin with the famous designer Jacqueline. When Autumn and the 4 other contestants are tasked with putting together an outfit totally opposite of their norm she ends up entering an office where she comes face to face with one gorgeous man, Simon a model and executive and nephew to Jacqueline. Simon is taken with her beauty, ability to stand up for herself and on the other hand be submissive. The girls become friends and help one another when they can with each challenge and fashion show each week. When Simon gets the attention of Autumn they end up spending time together outside the competition and learn many different sides of one another enjoying a relationship. When Jacqueline finds out she threatens them there will be consequences…. We learn how Simon had a difficult lonely life with money and how he returns to his community. During the finale Autumn is thrown one disaster after another, her model is replaced, her designs are destroyed forcing her to tell Jacqueline what she thinks, learns not everyone is her friend and goes back to NY without a word to Simon as she thought he was part of her being professionally destroyed. Simon is lost without Autumn and sets out to get her back changing his life to find happiness together! I hope to read about her friends in a future story. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

You can always count on Lauren Landish to deliver an addictive storyline with spice and humor generously sprinkled in! The French Kiss is all about working hard for what you want and going after the love of a lifetime.

Autumn is the perfect mix of bold and reserved. She isn't one to let people walk all over her, but she also knows when it's not worth her breath. She's an extremely hard working and talented young woman who has chased her dream of being a fashion designer.

Simon is known for his pretty face and he's sick of that being the only thing people see in him. He too is a hard worker and has a heart of gold. I love all the different sides of him! His mom left him at an orphanage when he was young, which has left him a little broken. He uses his own experience to help a group of boys there. Simon is an amazing cinnamon-roll alpha!

These two bring out sides of one another that they didn't know were there. Simon becomes possessive and protective of Autumn and she becomes a little jealous and protective of him. They just click together so perfectly! There's drama, new friendships, betrayal, heart and so much love. Simon woos Autumn in the sweetest way! And the spice in this book is top notch! I mean phew! I loved every second of this phenomenal book!

I received an ARC for an honest review.

So entertaining!

This book was magnificent! A truly entertaining romance that will have you laughing out loud and swooning. I loved every single thing about The French Kiss.

Autumn has been given a chance of a lifetime…travel to Paris to be in a fashion contest. What she hadn’t planned on was falling in love. Simon is too close to the contest and his pursuits have Autumn wondering…. what is she doing. But as things progress and a love starts to bloom, we watch as Autumn and Simon stick up for themselves and for their love.

I loved all the side characters and I am hoping we might get a story or two from them.

Highly recommended!

Fun, flirty, sexy read!

Autumn thinks her dreams come true to get a shot designing in a Paris fashion house. Fives women under 25 will compete to work under a well known designer. First day mishap of twerking puts her in the sights of he Pars designers nephew. Simon, while on the outside has everything, grew up feeling abandoned by his mother. Years of bouncing between ladies, that little mishap and fiery red hair has him chasing on cute American designer.

These two characters have the most amazing chemistry. I loved how the author brought them to life throughout the book. Definitely a good HEA all around. Strong story that kept me flipping pages to find out what would happen next.
