The O Line
People call me Milo "The Silo" Granville because I'm as big as one. On and off the field I make sure there are openings for the big plays to happen. Football is easy. Being the wingman for our running back Burke, not as much. It’s been my role since we were red-shirt freshman together. Now, we're together in the pros, and I spend as much time watching him score with the ladies as he does on the turf.
I've gotten good at ignoring the way women flirt with me to get closer to him, so I've got no game when the hottest woman I've ever seen ignores all his best moves in favor of talking to me. I'm so busy trying to figure out why she's interested in me I nearly blow my chance to score with her at all by putting my giant foot in my mouth. Now I’ve offended a goddess and that never ends well.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.
Tansy has a problem, she’s anorgasmic, she can’t have an orgasm easily and the few partners she has had didn’t want to put the extra effort in to get her off. When she waits on a table with the quarterback, Burke and lineman, Milo from their hometown football team, she knows she has found the man who can give her what she needs. Burke is hitting on her pretty hard but Tansy only has eyes for Milo. Which makes Milo wonder why a beautiful goddess like her would be interested in him when the star is hitting on her. She makes it obvious that she’s interested in Milo but he’s all in his own head wondering why. He waits around until the end of the night to talk to her and asks her to get a milkshake with him. There he ask why him and it makes Tansy mad, she’s all into him and he’s trying to push Burke on her. She leaves the diner and Milo follows and begs her for forgiveness. She tells him she will forgive him and tell him why she chose him if he can make her come. He accepts the challenge. Their time in her dorm room is hot and sexy. Milo is smart and he figures out that she has a hard time reaching orgasm with a partner. He reverse psychologies her and tells her she can’t come until he tells her she can. It works! Tansy has a mind blowing orgasm with Milo. He tells her he is her man and they are now a couple, it’s cute how he takes charge, it is exactly what Tansy needed. Epilogue one year later with them married, expecting a baby, and Burke flirting with her and asking why she picked Milo that night. In football terms she tells him that he maybe the one throwing the ball but it’s her man that has already made the field ready for him, it’s her man that gets the job done. It’s her man that can only handle her.
I liked how Tansy owned her sexuality, knew what she needed, and wasn’t afraid to go get it. It’s always fun to read a body/sex positive female character. Milo was sweet and sexy, a little slow in the beginning but once he realized what he could give her he was all in.

This book leads off with the absolute hottest flirting I’ve ever read. It lasts for several chapters and steadily increases in its heat level. The characters are fantastic, each with their own level of insecurity and confidence. Together they beautifully compliment each other and build each other up. Their steam is completely scorching! This book increases in its heat as the story goes on and my Kindle was in real danger of melting! I absolutely adored the ending! I loved the explanation for how she knew that he was the guy that was going to change her life, just from his skills in the field, but also in a way that shows she truly sees him.

He’s used to women using him to keep the quarterback interested, but Tansy is different and he’s not sure why. Milo is know for being big and burly so women don’t usually want him over the pretty boys on the team. Tansy sees him in a whole new way. That helps to unlock the beast inside and really bring the heat when they are together. Their ending was beautifully perfect and brought all the football elements back together.

The O Line by Layne Daniels is a delightful short story that will hit all the spots for romance readers. The story begins with Milo Granville, NFL blocker so enormous and strong he has been nicknamed the “Silo” because he is the size and composition of one, and just as immovable, being hit on by a beautiful young waitress named Tansy Pascal, while Burke (the body) Rogers, his teammate tries his best to focus Tansy’s attention on him instead. This is an old story for Milo who has been blocking and opening paths for Burke for 3 years in the pros, on and off the field. He is used to women pretending to be interested in him all the while hoping to make Burke jealous and have to work a little harder to get the woman. Except, in this case, Tansy’s interest in Milo seems genuine. Burke finally gives up leaving Milo and Tansy alone. I don’t want to give away the best part of the plot, so I will only say that Tansy challenges Milo to do something in order to win her over, and the way in which Ms. Daniels unfolds their story is quite clever and very entertaining. Get this exceedingly hot, explosive, and un-put-downable novel!

Milo Granville is known as “Silo” because he is the blocker his team the Mariposa Kings. At a bar one night he meets Tansy, who for some odd reason keeps flirting with him. Not Burke the quarterback and flirt but big ole him. He doesn't understand it. No one flirts with him unless they are trying to get to Burke. But Tansy keeps coming on to him. Tansy has done her best to get Milo's attention but for some reason he seems shocked and he keeps putting his foot in his mouth every time Tansy talks to him. Will Milo ever realize Tansy actually wants him. Will they ever get together? This is a fast paced, steamy and sexy read that finally lets two people get together who need each other. Lovely steamy read and Milo and Tansy are great together, great chemistry and I loved this novella!!.

This book is a part of the Gridiron Love series and focuses on Milo and Tansey. Milo is a professional football player who is used to being his friend's wingman when they go out. When their waitress, Tansey, wants nothing to do with his friends advances and instead wants Milo, he is suspicious of her motives and ends up sticking his foot in his mouth and then realizing that he was wrong. He is willing to do whatever he needs to do to get her to forgive him for being a bonehead and give him a second chance. Tansey issued a challenge for him and he jumped in head first and was determined to win her over. They both knew what they wanted and went after it. They were absolutely perfect for each other. This was such a great story and a great addition to the series!

The O Line : Gridiron Love is such a cute story. It is a quick and easy Instalove story. Tansy is a waitress and tonight she has professional football players in her section. She doesn’t want the running back, she wants the lineman Milo. Milo doesn’t understand why Tansy is flirting with him when his teammate is the one trying to hook her. It can’t be real, right? Women don’t pick the lineman over the running back. He has to know what her game is. But will his unwillingness to see what is in front of him make him lose his future? Super cute storyline and lovable characters. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it and the series.

This is a sweet story that is fairly short and quick to read. The story is part of a multi-author series but reads as a stand alone. The story is about Milo also known as the Silo because he is huge and blocks everyone from his QB. He is sitting at a bar with his quarterback Burke "The Body", who is usually gets anyone he hits on. So Milo is shocked when the women Bod is hitting on starts flirting with him instead of Bod. The only time they flirt with Milo is to get Bod's attention. So he is intrigued by Tansy, the waitress. Tansy and Milo are perfect for each other. I love the banter between them. Even when he puts his foot in his mouth the banter gets even better. This is a sweet read with some hot and steamy bits. I love her answer in the end. A perfect answer!

I absolutely had a blast reading this book. If you love football romance than I suggest reading this book. Milo & Tansy story just goes to show that you can't judge a person by their looks. Milo, big dude, wonders why the beautiful, confident Tansy wants his help & he nearly misses his chance due to putting his foot in it. Tansy challenges him & he gladly accepts. This challenge changes them both in ways they did not expect.
I loved the fierce protectiveness that Milo has for Tansy from their first meeting in the bar.
I look forward to the next book by the author.

Milo is a football player who is used to wingmanning for the team heart throb so he is a bit confused when they go somewhere together and the girl his friend is flirting with seems more interested in Milo. Tansie has had rather disappointing experiences with men and sex but she makes a deal with Milo that would solve a lot if it worked. This was a nice no-angst instalust story that took me a little under an hour to read.

It's a good romance that slowly rises in intensity when the hero, Milo understands what is really going on in the head of Tansy whom he meets in a bar.
It's a tender story, but intense and well thought out, while remaining cute.
I liked the idea at the start, of a man who is used to just being the pointer for one of his football teammates, destabilized to discover that for once he is at the center of someone's attention.

Milo and Tansy met in a bar. Milo is used to woman preferring the smoother players like the quarterback and thought Tansy’s interest in him was to gain their attention. Waitress Tansy was used to shutting down men, she had her own insecurities with relationships but Milo was different, she felt different with him. They had to overcome misunderstandings and miscommunication and their own insecurities to get to a beautiful HEA. Sweet and steamy story with lots of laughs and chemistry.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a funny and sweet romance but it still has plenty of steam. Milo was a great character who was used to how the game was played on and off the field. That made it easy for Tansie's character to completely sideline him. I liked both characters and the chance they take on each other. Tansie and Milo had that instant attraction and spark.

This was a great read! Milo and Tansy were perfect together. Milo was used to being the wingman for the team heartthrob, so when Tansy was intent on winning his attention, he couldn't believe it. His doubts almost ruined any chance of a relationship with Tansy, but a bet gave their relationship a fresh chance. Could he help her cross the O-Line? Wow...talk about sweet and steamy! Loved it!.

I thought this was a cute novella. Milo aka Silo is a sweetheart but a little insecure about himself and his appeal to their ladies. Tansie is great as she knows exactly what she wants and who she wants. She makes me laugh at som of the things that come out of her mouth. This relatively low-drama romance was entertaining and fun to read.

O how I love a funny and cute love story. That is the description of Milo and Tasie's love story. I am not a lover of sports/romance... But this book has left me wanting to give them a second go. I instantly loved Silo/Milo and was eager to find out how Tansy could make this gentle giant realise she likes him. The Story is so easy to read like so many of Ms Daniels books and hits all the right buttons. Great plot fantastic characters and it left me feeling it was over to soon. I guess I'll be reading the other books in the Gridiron Love!

This was a good football romance. I really loved Milo, he was such an amazing guy, but Tansy was for me a bit harder to like. She kind of rubbed me the wrong way from the start. But the story had a great flow and a lot of steam. And it would probably have been a five star read if I had been able to connect to Tansy. But definitely a good story.

Such a fun read. Poor Milo thinks he will just be a wing man for his teammate. Little did he know how Tansie was so interested in him. She basically had to push him on a date and his mouth got in the way. I think even for her being so young, she was smart enough to know what she wanted. Minimal drama, lots of steamy times and a good ending on this one.
