he world that nurtured the civilization which reached the pinnacle of magic was on the verge of destruction.
The last survivor transmigrated to the past, when the magic civilization started growing, as countless mages were still fumbling their ways through the thorny paths of magic knowledge.
He, who came from the end of the magic era, aims to reach the pinnacle of magic.
This story was innovative. All stories take multiple elements from other literatures and incorporate the redeeming points at an extreme pace due to the internet age, but this series was amazing. From the dystopian secret to the functionality of how it makes sense of including eastern meditation and western magic, I was intrigued.
But first, it's written by a millennial shut-in so there's no side characters. And second, this series main conflicts weren't primarily driven by stupidity like tsudo-1st world countries like Japan, but completely 3rd world, and all the conflicts were driven by people not speaking up, because they didn't want to be purged by the authoritarian regime. This lead to systemic collapse, the entire family dying, and one kid survives in the end. I don't think this juvenile author knows how he's portraying his own country from his own experiences, but only one person got the glory and everybody else got fked. Leaving a bad taste for storytelling deserves a -1.
