All it takes is for one mishap for the both of them to be spellbound to each other... literally!
All I have to do is keep it together through senior year. I just need to graduate valedictorian and ace all of my college entrance exams. Sure, I could have more fun if I let things slip, if I used a little magic like my cousin Fiona urges me to, but it’s too risky. The rules are in place for a reason, and I’m nothing if not a rule-follower.
When I’m paired with the new kid, Jack LaFey, in Physics class, he pushes every button I have…in the worst way possible. Sure, he’s hot—though not as hot as my crush, Alex—but he’s annoying, smug, and doesn’t follow the rules. At all.
Just when I think things can’t get any worse, Fiona texts me one of her stupid, old poems that she thinks are cursed. Joke’s on me when I read it out loud, because that stupid, old poem? Definitely not so stupid when it binds me and Jack together … permanently.
