Her past could destroy her second chance with her fated mate...
Since returning to Moon Valley, Ciara Quinn has been given a second chance. She’s bound to her alpha, Preston, and wants to prove to him and the Crimson Moon pack that she’s here to stay. But when her ex, Cyrus, arrives in town uninvited, everyone starts asking questions.
The moment Preston meets Cyrus, he begins to act strangely. At first, Ciara suspects her mate is jealous. But when Preston’s behavior towards her turns dangerous, Ciara does the one thing she vowed she would never do again—she flees Moon Valley. But this time it's in search of answers.
It’s exactly the sort of opportunity their enemy The Raze have been waiting for. With the strength of Ciara and Preston’s bond hanging in the balance, the entire future of Moon Valley is at risk. And Ciara’s actions may have destroyed the bond with her alpha and the trust of her pack once and for all...

Review of Finding His Crescent Fate Book 2 in the Moon Valley Shifters Series By Roxie Ray and Viola King
Very Disappointing Book
This is the second book in the Moon Valley Shifters series by Roxie Ray and Viola King (keeping in mind that there is no such person as Roxie Ray). It starts exactly where the first book left off. Ciara’s “ex” (he just doesn’t know it yet) human boyfriend, Cyrus, has shown up at the Harkness Manor, uninvited. Ciara’s attempts to get him to leave are unsuccessful and finally Preston comes downstairs to join them. When he shakes Cyrus’ hand, he felt a sharp prick followed by a searing pain; Cyrus plays it off as his uncut diamond cuff links being responsible.
Cyrus should not have been able to get into the town and Preston believes they have a security leak. He and Ciara argue and decide to leave to go to his home, but he’s not acting like himself. And this is where I started having problems with this book. From this point (about 10%) until about 60% of the way through the book, it’s basically like a bad LSD trip for Preston and later, Ciara. I felt like these wild and redundant out of body and out of mind experiences could have been shortened considerably and the impact on the book would be the same, if not better. Let’s face it, I almost gave up on the book several times during this protracted interlude. Finally, at about 60%, the actual story picked up again without all the hallucinations and it was great thereafter, except it was another cliffhanger ending, although not as tense as the one in the first book.
The character development got lost through a large part of the book, but some new characters were introduced that made the story more exciting. The world building was about the same as the previous book, with a couple of new locations thrown in. Altogether, I was very disappointed in the book and I’m hoping the third book will be better than this one.
My Rating: 3 Stars.

Preston and Ciara’s bliss is shattered soon after with began with Ciara’s human boyfriend, Cyrus’, appearance. Preston’s immediately jealous, especially after Ciara makes plans to see Preston the next day to get answers Preston needs and ensure Cyrus knows they’re no longer a couple.
Overnight, Preston goes into a frightening trance Ciara can’t break. Raze captures Ciara and Preston, not hesitating to use the properties of Corpse Lily bending the couple to their will. In separate rooms, Preston’s assaulted unrelentingly with hallucinations of Ciara, his life and pack falling to his worst imaginings while Raze reveals their plot to Ciara with Preston’s tortured screams in the background.
To my taste, though the POV alternated between Ciara and Preston captivity with Raze, fleshed characters and backstory, it was over 75% of the page count making a one note outing. However, bits of the outing intrigue enough for one to wonder if and when there was an escape from Raze or if it was all a dream/nightmare. How audacious! Rating: 3.75stars
Ciara’s ex- boyfriend Cyrus was working for the Raze but no one knew, he poisoned Preston the night that Ciara and Preston were to be mated and caused him to have hallucinations. Ciara got Cyrus out of town so Preston wouldn’t kill him but the Raze got them and tortured them and she did something to Cyrus because of it. Preston got healed and others to get help in finding her then prepare their town for the Raze. Good book!.

I am really liking this series and am a big fan of the Roxie & Viola team, but I have to say that the center section of the book got a little boring. I get that they both went through tortuous trials separately but after a while it just seemed like tedious tellings of various torture scenarios. (different methods with the same end result) I would have rather the prolonged torture be described in detail once or maybe twice to give us an idea of what they went through then as an abstract concept for the remainder of the time. That's just one readers opinion however.
Ciara Quinn has a second chance to connect with Alpha Preston Harkness. She also needs to redeem herself with the Crimson Moon pack. But completely unexpectedly, her ex Cyrus shows up. He was working for the Raze and injected Preston with something to cause hallucinations. Then Ciara is captured. Can she be found and rescued? Or has the appearance that she has run away broken the bond with Preston? Has she lost the pack’s tentative trust?
WOW!!! Is all I can say. This book is so awesome I can’t put the book down. There is so much action, drama, trauma, passion, suspense and mystery throughout this book. There are funny episodes as well. The best part is the strength between the main two characters and the love they share. They are still going through tremendous personal ordeals. Excellent reading.
This is the second part of the story and it is beneficial to read the first book in the story. Great characters and intense situations abound in the ongoing storyline. The story does not finish with this book.

This is the second of three books in the series. Well written and a great read, this book will keep you enthralled in the story and waiting for the third. Make sure you read the first book as it will be very helpful and give you a better insight into this book. Can't wait for the third.

This is the second book in the series and continues the story.
The night Ciara and Preston are to be mated, Cyrus, her ex shows up and poisoned Preston. From here the story takes you on a wild ride of twisting danger and suspense at different turns that pulls you in fast.

It's a good book only thing is the story was changed from previous book, when Preston and ciara nearly ran over xyrus in the road and thats when he scratched Preston....but in this book it's saying that he just turned up to party as reporter and scratched Preston with his cufflinks...was a little confusing felt like I missed something
Starts right where the last ended with the human ex walking into Cyrus’s home. What’s nexts in store for the moon valley pack and Cyrus and Ciara’s bond and mating… will it come to a definite end or will they love and connection overcome everything so far?
Another fantastic instalment in the Moon Valley Shifters series. Delightfully hot and steamy. Great characters, and a well written storyline. Would recommend. Cannot wait for the next book.

I understand why the early parts of the book are somewhat disjointed as far as time goes, but it does make it kind of hard to follow. It's still a pretty good book, just not easy to figure out how much time actually elapsed in parts.
Awesome, good story feels like hid and seek. The drama that unfolds is exciting and suspenseful. The plots and twist are dealing as the Rave chase and capture and poison the leaders of Crescent Falls. grab your tissues as we see a sacrifice for the good. Next!
Too many quotations and people talking across a few chapters, felt like I couldn’t get into the story. Once into the 4th 1/4 it got easier for me to read. Still a good story though and onto book 3!
