In real life, men who are bald and wear glasses are not sexy(IMO) but Mark was yummy! And Ruby, though older (Well, for some reason, I usually don’t like reading about women over 30.) was even yummier and definitely not annoying as most heroines of my latest reads were.

<------------Spoilers

One of my favorite scenes was the one where he’d given her the lock pendant and told her ”Whenever you wear it you’re mine.” But frankly, all scenes of this book were hot.

While I really enjoyed Mark and Ruby’s kinky sex scenes, I did not like Meg and Emmett’s. The idea of a guy sucking on some girl’s (Okay, I admit that I would’ve loved it if it were the other way around. Ah, I’m a pervert, aren’t I?) sweaty toes disgusts me.

Submissive men irk me and therefore, I didn’t like Emmett nor the ending. Why do heroes have to get all mushy (As Yvette said.) toward the end? It’s really unattractive, eh.

Spoilers------------->

Overall, it was one of the best erotica books I’ve ever read and definitely deserves five stars or even more.

Oh, and I really liked the warning on its back:

WARNING
THIS BOOK IS VERY HOT
READ IT ONLY IF YOU CAN HANDLE THE HEAT.

So true!

Special thanks to my brother's sister-in-law, Leila, for buying it for me! <3

Bound to Please is the first BDSM book I have read. My friend, Fiction Vixen sent it to me, otherwise I don’t think I would have ever tried it. But getting into the spirit of the book, like a good little submissive, I said yes, Ms. Vixen I will read the book - of course now, I think I would have liked to risked disobeying for maybe a spanking ;)

I am so happy I read it! This book did funny things to my insides. It is hot, and naughty, and romantic, and everything good a book should be. Since I don't read a lot of BDSM, I don't have really anything to compare this book to, but I do think the BDSM is on the lighter side in this book, but since it was my first, it was a good place to start.

Ruby is in her late thirties and is an event planner. Her current event which she is planning with her best friend Meg, is a party featuring an up and coming band. Mark St. Crow is the lead singer, ten years Ruby's junior, and they immediately notice each other. Ruby's ex-boyfriend, Ash, is into BDSM and Ruby thoroughly enjoyed that part of their relationship. So much so that she wished they could have explored it even more. Ash also is a professional photographer and Mark has just happened to have bought a picture of Ruby bounded by rope.

Ruby is shocked that he owns that picture but she is also very intrigued. After a very impromptu make out session at the club, Mark promises to show Ruby his skills as soon as his gig is over. That night, Ruby’s submissive dreams come true, as the dominant Mark plays out her sexual fantasies. She is blindfolded and spanked, and she loves every minute of it. Mark gives it to her good, but always taking the utmost care in her desires.

After several intimate nights, Ruby starts realizing Mark is much more than just fun in the bedroom. She yearns to find out all about him. However, Mark has a very demanding schedule, and is travelling on a consistent basis. Ruby’s parents abandoned her when she was a teenager, and finds it very difficult to and scared to become close to Mark. They both want more, but they both need to take that final step to make a commitment a reality.

I love this couple and I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed this Bound to Please. I love their relationship – Ruby wants to be oh so naughty, always dreaming of all the fetish toys but she is still a bit shy to admit it. She wants to be possessed and have someone else in control. In the bedroom, or on the kitchen table, she is into it. But it still embarrasses her when Mark leaves her notes that tell her not to wear underwear on their date.

Puzzled, she unfolded the not and read.

Take off your panties and put them in your purse. M.

For a second she just stared at the note. Did Mark really want her to do this? Here? Now?

She kinda wanted to.

[…:]She smiled and savored the anticipation of waiting for his show to end. She was going to leave her panties on. And find out for herself what happened when she disobeyed an order from Mark St. Crow.

I’ll give you a hint – her punishment involves a naughty spanking.

Mark is a dominant, all the way and damn does that make him sexy. His flirting with Ruby the first night they met sealed the deal for me. I love how Lilli Feisty writes him – so in control and confident from the moment he meets Ruby. His control of Ruby in the bedroom is hot to read, just as his sweet comforting nature that takes over as well. I also really enjoyed that they both have careers and they both are serious about them. They can’t see throwing their careers away, but they also want a relationship. I really think it was handled in a mature way and even when they were in despair, and they didn’t think they could ever work it out, they still held true to their characters. Mark still had his eye out for other subs, although you knew deep down he wanted Ruby. I was put off that Mark's eye roamed the minute he and Ruby got into an argument, but that is what his character does. Ruby knows this, and they make it work.

The only little thing I didn’t love in this book is the side story of Meg and her husband and their marital problems. I thought the book would have been just as good as Meg as a best friend without all of her drama.

Fiction Vixen mentions this in her review, but I have to hit upon it too. There is a scene with a strawberry, and it is one of my favorite smexy scenes I have read this year. You are going to have to read it to get the full satisfaction from this scene , but I don’t think I will ever be able to look at a strawberry the same way again. And it is not just what is done with the strawberry, but the way Mark makes her do it, and just when you think he is in complete control of the situation, he even gets cocky and tells her how easy she is to submit, she reverses it and bam – Ruby is in for another naughty punishment. Hot stuff.

Bound to Please is great for a novice BDSM reader like myself, and I am interested to take it up a notch. Suggestions are welcome!

If you had told me a year ago I would be reading/rating a book that was combined romance/erotica/BDSM I would have told you, you had lost your mind. I also have a scary feeling that if I continue the smutdom with smexybooks, smokinhotbooks and fictionvxn, a year from now I might have ventured into an m/m story as well. *gasps/not quite near there*

Yes, this book had BDSM that was incorporated into the lifestyle of the two characters.(Ruby&Mark) The BDSM was a progression, not a whambam here it is, slap you in the face BDSM. Did I think for one minute my smutsisters would suggest an abusive, kinky to the point of sick/crazy BDSM read, hell no! They wouldn't put up with that crap, much less read it! But what gripped me from the beginning of this story was the simple truth of two individuals trying to decipher their wants, desires, insecurities, and overall uncovering who they truly are as individuals and what they desire from that discovery. I loved the realism and believability of Ruby and Mark and the author's expressive and descriptive flow had you feeling you were a band groupie who "liked to watch" as Ruby and Mark progressed and discovered who they ultimately were and how it would affect their relationship and future.

I believe L.Feisty brought the realism to the character's professions and who they overall were as people. Ruby and Mark were both successful, driven people in their work and their work allowed them control/stability as people when emotionally they were far from it. I could totally get why Ruby wanted to discover her true self but didn't want to commit her heart. She faced truth in the fact that Mark was the lead of a major hot band and had no stability further than the next hotel in the next city they were playing. She was a realist, but realism doesn't always constitute the perfect relationship because perfection is impalpable no matter how hard a person tries to form it. And like a drug, Ruby and Mark couldn't get each other out of their systems so the new challenge emerged. What to do about it?

As, I commented throughout my progress. I will NEVER, and I repeat, NEVER look at a leather belt, strawberries, Ben&Jerry's and a chocolate bar the same again! And did I wish for someone to experiment with the list? Youbetcha! The movie 9 1/2 Weeks kept popping in my mind but this book was sooooo much better! After all, Mickey Rourke is not what he used to be!

The only thing I didn't care for in this story were the secondary characters of Meg and Emmett and their marital problems. Their story was totally unnecessary and a discovery of Meg's regarding Emmett left me with an eeeeeeewww that I didn't need. You will just have to read the book to find out what it is!

I totally recommend this read to anyone just to experience the strawberry scene alone! And the ice cream, and the chocolate bar.......*sighs*

Wow is Mark St. Crow a hottie!! Loved him!!

Ruby is an event planner/organizer and meets rockstar Mark S. Crow at one of her parties. They are instantly drawn to each other. Mark is like no other man she has met, and as she turns herself over to him, she realizes that she may never find happiness in another's arms. Mark is getting tired of the one night stands/groupies, and is drawn to Ruby, who is about 10 years older than him. He is afraid of commitment, but Ruby has unlocked a piece of his heart, and he wants more.

Readers, this book is HAWT!! I will never look at a stawberry again and not think of this book!! YUM-O!! Ruby can get on your nerves a bit, but Mark can more than make up for that...he's HAWT and pierced, and knows just how to spank in all the right places!!

I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a HAWT BDSM read :)

My fav scenes/quotes:

"Tour guide into the wonderful underwold of kink!?" (Ruby to her friend Meg)

"I think you want to give yourself over to me. I think you want to feel my hand on your ass. I think you want to know what it would be like to be owned by me." (Mark to Ruby)

"Let's go get you sexified." (Meg to Ruby)

"She smiled...savored the anticipation of waiting for his show to end. She was going to leave her panties on and find out herself what happened when she disobeyed an order from Mark. St. Crow."

"He knew exactly how to make her melt, and there was a beauty in letting him. There was something about opening up with a stranger. No rules, no limitations. Nothing to lose."

"I want you bound for me. I want to see you so turned on you scream my name. I want you in so many ways, Ruby."

"She wanted to be possessed, ruled. To experience the secret desires she'd admitted to no one."

"You're a litte naughty, aren't you? A little feisty....I like that in a girl. It's more fun, don't you think?" (Mark to Ruby)

"You're so sexy when you fight your desire for me. It'll be that much more fun when you're screaming for me to spank you harder."

"You're the one bound, Ruby. But you have all the power here. Don't forget that."

"He filled her completely, physically and emotionally. She was dying to give herself over to him."

"The desire to protect her came from somewhere deep inside, and it was unfamiliar and primal."

"Note to self: Spanky-spanky with Mark St. Crow? Not as easy to get over as one might think."

Author Lilli Feisty was a make-up artist, perpetual student, secretary, and owned an art gallery before beginning her writing career. She claims to have worked only long enough to pay for her trips to Europe. Besides writing, she enjoys tattoos, reality television, and beaches. Other titles include: Taken, Sting of Desire, Dance of the Plain Jane, and I Love Lacy. She resides in the San Francisco Bay area of California.
Ruby Scott is a successful event planner who leads a respectable life. Yet the secret and naughty fantasies in her head are anything but. She’s become the master of keeping her hidden desires under wraps. That is, until she meets Mark St. Crow, an extremely gifted, up-and-coming music star who is ten years her junior. Gorgeous, sexy, and well-toned, Mark invokes a passion that Ruby never allowed herself to explore. After several intimate nights together, Ruby knows that there is no going back. But Mark plays women as often as he does his instruments, and he is not looking for anything to tie him down- at least not in the metaphorical sense. So what is a girl to do when her deepest needs threaten to give way to a forever love?
As always with this genre, I’m going to issue a warning on this book. It is a very detailed erotic romance with scenes of BDSM and SM that may not be suitable for everyone.
Now, for an erotic romance, I was very impressed with the plot and characters. Or rather, the fact that there was a plot and had memorable, relatable characters. The story-line for the book, (supposed good girl and bad boy musician are ten years apart in age), was crafted in a true-to-life manner. After reading the book, I didn’t sit there thinking how unrealistic it was. The characters and internal thoughts evolved and matured throughout the story. True to romance with a happy ending, you’ll be satisfied in every aspect when you close the pages. The dialog was just phenomenal and I adored the secondary characters immensely. I appreciate that the love scenes weren’t redundant. I highly recommend sitting in front of a fan while reading this one. Seriously. I will never look at a strawberry the same way again!
Bound to Please, by Lilli Feisty, is a scorching hot, irresistible, sinfully satisfying read.

Bound to Please was the first book I’ve ever read by Lilli Feisty and I enjoyed it a lot! To be honest, I wasn’t planning on reading this just yet. With such a busy schedule, I forgot to upload my ebooks to my ereader and so I was left with whatever was on my ereader at the time. Luckily, I had this one sitting there just waiting for me to read it and I am so glad I picked it up!

Mark St. Crow is sex. I don’t know how else to explain it. Seriously, he is pure, undiluted sex. I loved him! He was a smooth-talker, the type of guy who says all the right things to make you feel hot as hell. As a member of the Riders, he has the busy schedule that requires him to leave without a second’s notice. His number one priority is his band. But once he meets Ruby at a social event, all other priorities fade away.

Rudy had a history of being a model for her artist boyfriend with a bondage fetish. Since then, she’s kept her kinks to herself. But Mark comes along and ignites a fire inside and she can’t resist him. I really don’t blame the girl. But there was one thing that irked me about her. She constantly pushed him away RIGHT AFTER all the sex they had. I would have believed it more if she hesitated before. But instead, she was a tease, nibbling on strawberries to make Mark fall to his knees and then promptly pushed him away. This happens quite a bit and it started to annoy me a little bit. I understood she was afraid of saying goodbye, knowing that it was temporary, but COME ON! Way to ruin the mood!

I LOVED the secondary story between Emmett and my girl, Meg! I thought it brought a little something extra to an already great storyline. Meg misses the intimacy between her and her husband. She says it’s been months since they had sex and she wonders if he’s gay or bi. And then the truth is revealed and it was wonderful! Feisty knows how to bring sexy back!

If you love your BDSM, then please check this out! Mark St. Crow is divine and Feisty’s writing is completely raw and real. I loved it!

4 1/2-5 stars BDSM/Erotic Romance

Shout out to Miss Angela Lustful Lace for recommending this HOT book to me! I LOVED it!!

As an organized event planner, Ruby Scott had embraced her reptutation as a respectable woman who is dependable and steadfast. Underneath her neat exterior, her erotic fantasies of submitting to a deserving dominant male consume her thoughts. She keeps her wishes under wraps until she meets sexy, ten years younger, musician; Mark St. Crow

Mark is a talented up and coming musician along with his band, The Riders. Mark craves a controlled lifestyle not only with his career, but also in his bed. No secret to the world of BDSM, he's only too eager to share a wicked night of passion with Ruby. What he's not prepared for is the feelings that she stirs within him. Being in the music business, it's easy to love 'em and leave 'em, but with Ruby, he finds he wants to know her, be with her, stay with her. Imagine his surprise when she kicks HIM out!

It doesn't take long for Ruby to realize that one night with Mark is not enough, and soon after the two of them engage in wild thrilling sexual encounters that makes her desire for him build until she's left wanting more than a sexual relationship with him.

BDSM books usually are not my favorite. A lot of times, I find them funny and I end up doing a lot of eye rolling and skimming through the pages. Bound to Please was definitely an acception to this rule as I really enjoyed the scenes between the h/h and they were extremely HOT. This book is full of sexy scenes. Mark and Ruby engage in sex in a Ritz Carlton (with the aide of a strawberry HOT HOT HOT), a garden, a public bathroom, a broom closet, a sex club, etc. Some seriously sexy stuff happening here!!

Really enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to more from this author!!

Again I wish goodreads allowed half stars because I actually want to give this 4.5 stars.

When I first started this a while back I must not have been in the mood for contemporary erotic because 50 pages in, it wasn't clicking for me. I set it aside and gave it another shot this week and am sooooo glad I did.

Very sexy book with a few scenes that I won't likely forget. Can you say pass the strawberries? :)

A lot of erotic bondage pain sex scenes. They were pretty good, but too many conflicts were weak and bothered me.

REVIEWER’S OPINION:
I didn’t care for the story. Guy and girl meet and have hot hot sex. She then pushes him away because she doesn’t want to get hurt in the future. At one point he leaves because he doesn’t want to hurt her in the future. They keep getting together because she can’t resist him, but then she pushes him away. There were other conflicts with other women which felt contrived. There is a major separation based on someone forgetting about something which was hard for me to believe. The conflicts were the major stumbling block for me. But, the story was ok as a backdrop for bunches of erotic sex scenes.

The purpose of the book is sex (Doms and Subs). Ruby loves to be tied up and feel pain. Mark loves to do that. There are some public displays in sex clubs. There is a little rear door activity. I would call this slightly above average for sex, but it wasn’t as emotionally drawing as I would have liked.

Ruby is 37. Mark is 29. I thought the story might get into something interesting with the age difference, but that part wasn’t developed.

REVIEWER’S OPINION ABOUT ANOTHER REVIEWER:
Although I didn’t like Ruby repeatedly breaking things off, another reviewer (Marie) saw it differently and wrote: “I liked how she was attempting to resist him all the time, attempting to always end it after every encounter and I loved his persistence for her.” Marie wasn’t bothered the way I was. I agree with Marie in two other areas. I loved Mark’s persistence, and I wanted more back story on Ruby and Mark. Marie also rated this book 3 stars.

STORY BRIEF:
Ruby is an event planner who organized a cocktail event for Emmett, a music producer who invited the Dark Riders to the event. He wants to produce an album for the group. Mark is one of the Dark Riders. As soon as Mark sees Ruby, he is drawn to her and spends most of the evening with her. They have hot bondage sex. Ruby doesn’t want a relationship with a musician who will be gone most of the time. He’d like to see more of her.

DATA:
Story length: 332 pages. Swearing language: strong, including religious swear words. Sexual language: strong/erotic. Total number of sex scenes: 15. Estimated number of sex scene pages: 82. Setting: current day mostly San Francisco, California. Copyright: 2009. Genre: erotic contemporary romance.

Ruby Scott works as an event planner. At first glance you won’t believe that Ruby has a kinky side to her. Her ex-boyfriend was into S&M but on the lighter side. When they did have sex it was so…vanilla. Ruby would like to be more on the wild side but just hasn’t found anyone till now.

While at one of her events, Ruby and her friend Meg get on the discussion of sex. Meg is looking to spice things up with her husband Emmett. Ruby makes the comment to Meg that she will be her tour guide into the wonderful underworld of kink. It just so happens that the most gorgeous guy Ruby has ever laid eyes on overhears her.

Mark St. Crow is the lead singer of The Dark Riders, a fairly new band that is slowly becoming hot stuff. Mark can’t believe his ears when he hears Ruby offering to be a tour guide into the world of kink. Ruby sounds like his type of woman as Mark happens to be a collector of erotic art work. Mark plans to show Ruby just how much fun S&M can really be and he isn’t no vanilla!

When you imagine bad boy musicians, Mark fits into that category. He not only has the look but he is also a tiger in the bedroom. I really like that Ruby broke out of her shell and became more adventurous as the story progressed. If you are looking to add some spice to your life, then you have got to treat yourself to a copy of this book. I hope to read more by this talented author.

This was a good book that I did like. Still recovering from a break up with her erotic photographer boyfriend, Ruby Scott meets a sexy rock star on the verge of hitting it big, Mark St. Crow. Mark is instantly attracted to Ruby and he recognizes her tattoo from some erotic art he recently purchased. Ruby feels betrayed because the photos she posed for, for her ex-boyfriend were never meant to be sold and she thinks that Mark is only interested in her because of what he thinks the photos might imply about her. However Ruby is also attracted to Mark and after an impromptu semi-public, scorching hot make out session, Mark invites Ruby to his show later that evening and the fun and games begin. Mark is a super sexy, leather wearing musician who is making the most of his rock star lifestyle. He can have most any woman he wants but soon comes to realize he may have met his match in Ruby. He finds he has feelings for her beyond their sexual relationship even though Ruby who is older than Mark tries to keep some emotional distance between them is smart and sexy and independent and focused on her career. The book had some really good BDSM sex scenes. I just felt that it was something missing in it. The book was very well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to put into words why I thought that this book was so phenomenal, but it's really hard.

I must say that I love this author's voice. The style of writing was so real, the dialogue was funny, and had just the perfect amount of snark in it. It was actually very refreshing that the H/h didn't take themselves so seriously all the time.

Mark was absolutely YUMMY, and I think I will be seeing him in my fantasies for quite a while for sure. Ruby was my favorite type of submissive. Strong, sassy but complete in her surrender.

But more than anything, this book was SOOOO HOT! There were so many scenes that just blew me completely away. I must say, I'll never look at eating strawberries the same way. ;)

So overall, this was definitely a favorite for me. It's my first Lilli Feisty book and I can't wait to read more!

Ok, not great. Review soon.Bound to Please by Lilli Feisty
Genre: Contemporary BDSM, Older Woman/Younger Man

Ruby Scott is a quietly graceful 37 year old event planner, in business with her friend Meg. Recently broken up with her boyfriend Ash, she has vowed off on artists of all kinds, believing they will leave her no matter what. Having posed for bondage photos with her ex, Ruby knows her desires run a little darker and kinkier than the average woman.

Mark St. Crow is an up and coming new musician with his two best friends. Having women throw themselves at him is nothing new, but he has grown tired of this. Turning to BDSM to help him deal with the feelings he has, he has become a respected Dom.

When Mark sees the elegant Ruby across the room at an event she is running, he knows what he wants. He teases and torments Ruby at the party, invoking a promise from her to come to his show. Afterwards, they embark on a deep and passionate spanking and love scene. This is where Ruby wants to end it, knowing her heart will be broken, but Mark won’t let her run away from him.

I really wanted to love this book, but struggled to even finish it. Not because it was horrible, but it just wasn’t interesting me. When I imagine things in a book, I like to draw the picture in my mind. I didn’t really understand the type of music Mark played so it ended being techno in my mind and I couldn’t get it to go away. When she talks about how Ruby likes vintage clothing, I kept picturing some weird clothing, so when Ruby was in sweats, I just couldn’t picture it.

There is an age difference of about 8 years between them, with Mark being younger. You never get the feeling Ruby is desperate to find a connection because of age. What you do feel is that she is desperate for a normal guy even if there is no passion there. She runs from the kinkier side of herself, but just as quickly gives into Mark after he keeps after her. He never pressures her into anything. She does have a safe word, but he played her body like a fine instrument. Age never really seemed to be the problem in the book, which it wasn’t with me either.

The story comes down to Ruby having to decide if she can put up with the musician who can’t be home all the time and will leave but its not a good-bye. And Mark needs to decide if he can have a relationship where he can be happy and not repeat his parents mistakes.

The book was just good. Nothing really reached out to grab me. The scenes were just … nice. I didn’t see any heavy, lusty steam roll off my Kindle. It was just ok, but I recommend it because it might be better in your point of view.

Ruby Scott is an event planner in San Francisco; she works with her best friend, Meg. Mark St. Crow is a musician in town to meet with Meg's husband, a record producer. They meet at an art show Ruby and Meg are doing and immediately hit it off. Mark talks Ruby into meeting him at his concert later that night and gives her a few rules to adhere to while she's there. After the show, they go back to her place and Ruby gets a bit more insight into the fact that Mark is a Dom - and she discovers she likes it!

Ruby's childhood was less than perfect, and she has some abandonment issues. Mark's rock-n-roll lifestyle isn't really condusive to the steady relationship that Ruby thinks she wants. She knows she's attracted to Mark and he's attracted to her, but she doesn't want to be 2nd place behind his music. It seemed to me she spent a good portion of the book trying to leave Mark before he could leave her, doubting his assertions that he cared about her. The thing is, neither Ruby nor Mark wanted to leave, but neither could see how they could make a relationship work.

Oh. My. Goodness. I really liked this book! I enjoyed reading both Ruby and Mark, they were likeable characters and I wanted things to work out between them. Every time they hit a bump I thought to myself, "You can do it - give it a chance!" The sexual chemistry between them was hot, hot, hot! (I may have taken notes *g*) I also liked the secondary story of Meg and her husband Emmett. Mark's music partner Yvette. At first I didn't think I would, but by the end of the book I found myself hoping we'll see her again.

This book held my attention all the way through - no skimming or running off to check my e-mail when things got slow. I give Bound to Please 5/5 stars! Her next book, Dare to Surrender, is out next month and I can't wait to read it!

loved that the romance story between Mark and Ruby was not a typical "cougar" story. Ruby wasn't a woman out on the prowl, looking for a young, hot thing to get it on with. Ruby leads a quiet and respectible life as an event planner but she feels that there's something missing. When she meets musician Mark St. Crow, she realizes that maybe he can fill that void. Ruby fights her attraction to Mark due to the age difference and the fact that he's a musician; he's always going to be on the road. What Ruby wants is stability and she doesn't think she can have that with Mark.

I enjoyed this book. I loved the interaction between Ruby and Mark. It was believable and interesting. The sex was hot as you'd expect it to be. I read this book after reading Dare to Surrender. Bound to Please was released first. But I'm glad I did because I don't know if I would have read Dare to Surrender if I'd read Bound to Please first. Although I enjoyed the book, I didn't connect with the characters, especially Ruby, has much as I connected with Joy in Dare to Surrender. There was something in Ruby that was lacking for me. Whereas Joy was funny, unorganized and scatterbrained, I found Ruby to be too staid. The only time she was interesting was when she was with Mark. I was so happy when Joy made her "cameo" appearance. I loved how her encounter with Ruby and Ash sets up the next book, Dare to Surrender. A weird note: Mark's character has a shaved/bald head but for some reason, my brain kept giving him hair! I found that odd. My husband shaves his head bald so I have nothing against men with bald heads. I actually find it sexy (if you have the head for it).

Bound to Please is a sexy read with realistic characters and have erotic BDSM sex.

I will say that there is a reason why this book comes with a warning... it is smoking hot! I found it rather odd that there was a warning label about how hot this story was on the back cover of the book. I thought it was cute and didn’t pay much more attention to it. Well let me forewarn you that this book has some very descriptive erotic romance with scenes of both BDSM and SM. I personally am not much of an erotica reader... so I normally do not read anything this hot and will confess to blushing quite a lot while reading it. But I will say that I really liked the main characters. Both Ruby and Mark were very likeable and rather memorable. The dialogue alone was phenomenal. I quickly found myself drawn into their irresistible romance. This is definitely not for the faint of heart - but for those of you who enjoy erotica or are looking for something spicy with fantastic characters (full of tattoos, piercings, and fond of bondage) combined with great writing, then this is one you’ll definitely want to grab.

You will never think of a strawberry in quite the same light after reading this *snickers*.

Synopsis
FROM FANTASY TO ECSTASY

Ruby Scott is a beautiful, quiet event planner who leads an oh-so-respectable life. Yet the things that go on in her secret fantasies are anything but. She has every intention of keeping her hidden desires under wraps-until she meets a gorgeous, hard-muscled man ten years her junior. Mark St. Crow is a gifted, up-and-coming musician who collects erotic art and loves to "play" women as much as his piano. After one night of uninhibited passion, Ruby realizes there's no turning back. But as she surrenders to her deepest needs and lets Mark control every forbidden thrill, her passion for him builds. Can the wild, intoxicating nights they share lead to a love that will last forever?

This book is HOT, HOT, HOT. I read it in one day and didn’t want it to finish. This is an easily believable erotica which includes D/S scenes. This novel has a great story and the characters and the scenes are very believable. I definitely will be looking forward to more books from this Author.

Okay, who doesn't love a super-sexy alpha rock star? I know I do! That is definitely Mark. His sexy bald-headed, glasses-wearing self knows what he wants, and he gets it from Ruby!

Ruby was a pretty cook chick, too. She was supposed to be about ten years older than Mark, but that didn't really translate well. Even though she would tease him about it once in a while, I just didn't see it. She was a small little hipster-chick who had some insecurities that I just don't believe most 40-year-old women would have. But I could be wrong. I'm Mark's age, not Ruby's. I'm no expert in older women.

This story was a fun, quick read. I could totally believe their relationship, and the things that kept them skirting each other for so long. Plus, I can relate to Ruby. Artists are VERY hard to tie down. I've had to teach myself this same lesson, lol. I'm just glad that it worked out for them, because they're an awesome duo.

Plus, he wrote her a love song! Awwwwwww!

Liked it, didn't love it. Wanted to bitch slap Ruby thru most of the book. She'd screw Mark, then kick him out the next instant and tell him NOT to call her anymore. When he did, she'd do it all again. She kept pushing him away for 80% of this book.

Mark was frustrating but not as bad as Ruby. Loving that "rockstar" lifestyle, he was so confused by Ruby. He was falling for her, but had no idea. All he knew was that he kept wanting to screw her and didn't want to leave her.

The sex was great in this book. Touched on a bit of BDSM but not that outragous, more sexy then nasty. lol

I didn't feel the "connection" between these two by the end of the book. I felt the lust and desire but not so much the connection.

Was a nice little read but didn't like it enough to keep in my library...........

This is one of my favorite books. It was my first erotic romance book and got me hooked on this genre. The characters were so well thought out, complex, smart, attractive, interesting, and likable. I thoroughly enjoyed the dialogue. And the sex was so so hot.

One of the things I love about Lilli Feisty is that she writes characters who are so flawed yet so likable. Their backstories are compelling and their motivations are pretty clear. I love Ruby. I LOVE Mark! I really enjoyed the secondary characters and their quirks. I found this book entertaining, fun, emotional, and oh so sexy.

WOW...I loved this book! Rock star meets event planner and has sexy love affair with each of them having issues forming a relationship. I think perhaps this book would deserve a sequel but it ended okay I would have liked to have "experienced" more of Ruby and Mark's relationship so maybe the author will write more???

I would definately recommend this book if you like heated sex with D/s influence.

Now, THAT'S what I'm talking about!!!

Sexy Dom-check
That's also a rock star-check
AND pierced & tattooed-check, check
Kinky fuckery-CHECK
Intelligent & well developed characters-check, check

This one even has secondary characters that lend to the story & are interesting. AND possibly the best part is it's just one book! This blind allegiance to the trilogy lately is just becoming annoying. Seriously.

Meh! Sorry I just didn't feel the chemistry here and Ruby's indecision about what she wants from Mark drove me up the wall.

I loved Mark though. I like the fact that he wasn't portrayed as the typical male model with a six pack. Mark is a 29 year musician that is bald and wears glasses (I pictured Moby when I read this description).

I loved this book. Erotica at it's finest. Not for the faint of heart, or someone who isn't into graphic BD/SM. If you like a hot sexy alpha male with tats and pierced nipples, the hero in this book is for you.
