I would give it 3.5 to 4 stars but I can’t decide if it’s just because I already o
Know a good bit about the enneagram that it seemed very basic to me.I was hoping to grasp deeper/ more information. But overall It is a good simple overview with examples and expertises to help you cope through whatever trauma you may have endured.

I had a hard time choosing a rating for this one. For someone well versed in trauma informed care and the Enneagram, I’d rate this 2 stars as it does not feel like it deepened my education in either of those fields. I was anticipating a learning experience with this book and I didn’t get that so I’m a bit disappointed. Especially with the inclusion of how each Enneagram type may respond to different types of trauma, it felt more like a cookie cutter response based on stereotypes of each type structure and not any new or depth of information.

However, if I was only rating this based on it being a resource for someone starting their healing journey for their own trauma and them having a base knowledge of the Enneagram I’d rate it a 3.5 - 4 star. So that’s the rating I will give it because that is definitely its intended audience. There are also many tools listed throughout the book, which were not new to me, but I know will be a massive resource to many readers.
