A missing child. A determined hellhound on the hunt. A broken reaper intent on changing her fate.
Being a supernatural reaper is the last thing Haven Morris has ever wanted for her life. Finding love and living a normal life are all she wants, and she has one of those in hand. But reaping the soul of the person closest to her sends Haven into a tailspin that only one person can pull her out the one man she now hates.
Kieran, a hellhound from the In-Between, lives his life guarding The Deep. When monsters escape The Deep into the real world with a hellhound pup, Kieran takes off after them. Things look bleak until Kieran runs into a beautiful reaper who turns out to be his fated mate.
Meeting Kieran gives Haven hope again, the hope of never having to reap another soul because no souls can be reaped in the In-Between. But Kieran’s home isn’t as reaper-friendly as she’s led to believe. If Haven and Kieran can’t stop the growing evil, will they ever find a safe place for Haven so they can, in turn, find love?

A hellhound and a reaper, an unusual and inconceivable couple, united by fate, fighting for an imposed and indestructible bond. I had no expectations that I was going to like it and I was very surprised. There was no instalove, but a lot of pain to overcome while the world is in danger due to dark forces from the abyss that want to escape to take over the world. I missed more epilogue and to know that there will be history of the brothers. Who was the hellhound kidnapped for years by the Mare?
Hellhounds and Grim Reapers - a Fated Mate pairing that came together in a truly unusual clash without that cliche Insta-love. Being along for the ride as Haven and Keiran and their clans join forces to battle Wraiths, Changelings and more was exciting and enthralling. All due to one lone Death dealer's calling to save lives instead of always taking them and along the way expose a multilayered conspiracy that could have doomed more than one world. I loved it! My only critique - I wish there was more story surrounding Keiran's brothers and the other Grims and definitely the Were-Witch we met just once. Give me more!
