Man has turned his back on his brothers and a war, unlike anything anyone has ever seen, rages out of control. The knowledge and desire to broker peace has been lost and despair grips the population; still their remains the faint Shadow of Hope.
Adam Carson, a young man orphaned by the atrocities of war, has only one person left to turn to—an ancient mystic woman plagued by visions and intuition—his grandmother. With her guidance, he discovers that the heart of a warrior beats in his chest as he struggles to save the earth from destruction in the worst war humanity has ever endured.
Stacey Logan was born and raised in Country Victoria, Australia.
She has written plays, poems, articles, reviews and far too many dinner orders as she made her living as a waitress until she ran out of excuses for not doing what her heart truly desired; writing books.
Despite being a qualified Editor and Proofreader, Stacey is guilty of accomplishing things in a non-linear fashion. Her debut novel BOOTCAMP: Daughter of the Lakota, was intended to be a stand-alone book, but she soon realized it was part of a trilogy. The prequel (Shadow of Hope) and a sequel (Heart of a Nation) followed within a year.
Her next project was of far greater scope. She began working on The Dragonbone Legacy as a teenager and again, true to her inability to begin at the beginning, she started writing the last book first, again with the foolish notion it would be a stand-alone. Going back to the beginning, she discovered the range of stories that needed to be told to make her “one” novel come to life and so the Legacy was born. Currently finishing off the Second series within the collection, she is looking forward to producing many more works in this world of magic, adventure and, oh yeah, dragons.
