Catching Flights was some messy shyt and very on par for this author. We have half sisters who can’t stand each other and don’t get along at all. Kendall is a flight attendant who runs from relationships. Because of her daddy issues, she refuses to commit or date anyone. Sis is a straight up one hitta quita. If it ain’t a one night stand or a pull up when she’s in town, you need not call her at all. She’s really out here pullin’ a man on men. Kendall is so unbothered when it comes to her sister. Oh, excuse me. Her half sister. She would much rather have nothing at all to do with Renee but, her mama insists on pushing them together and trying to force a sisterly bond that just isn't there. Renee is a scary piece of work. It’s obvious she has some serious issues that need to be addressed by a therapist but, she would never admit to that. Renee is an insecure pathological liar who has an incessant need to keep up with the Jones. She thinks everyone, especially Kendall, is jealous of her when, in fact, she’s the one who’s jealous. All that envy, hate, and jealousy comes to a head with an explosive ending that will have you pickin’ your mouth up off the floor. When I said Catching Flights was some messy shyt, that was not an exaggeration. The plot twist is gon' blow your mind and the cast of characters will have you in stiches! You’ll want to be besties with Alan, you’ll want to hang out with Juice and his crew, you’ll want to cuss Greg’s bum azz out fa sho, and you will definitely want to put your hands on Renee’s delusional azz. So, just gon’ grab you a bottle of wine (or two) and get ready for the drama and shenanigans to ensue. Oh, and this book does end with a cliffhanger. My good sis ShadesNPages tried to warn me but, I just had to be nosey. 😩😩😩

Chile… Messy ain’t even the word for this rollercoaster ride of a book. Each chapter I found myself SMH or laughing! Kendall has some much needed emotions to tap into because her lack of, led her into a whirlwind of events. Luckily she has great friends & a mom who can pull her up and help her sort out everything. Renee is a tortured soul that allows her childhood insecurities to run rampant in her adulthood. While she gets on my nerves I understand her behavior. Victor 👨✈️😏😈 Victor is a fine specimen that I wanted so bad to hate but couldn’t. He exudes one of my favorite male traits BDE IYKYK! I am taking a first class flight to book 2 & look forward to turbulence, but hopefully smooth clear skies eventually 🤦🏽♀️🤣

Reading books by Ladii Nesha is a guaranteed good time! The mess, drama and laughs were plentiful! We needed air traffic controllers to guide us through this turbulence!!
Kendall and Renee took sibling rivalry to new heights. These two are half sisters and share the same father because he was definitely a rolling stone, wherever he laid his hat was his home @$$ n!gg@. Renee was definitely the instigator in there tumultuous relationship and let’s face it was not wrapped too tight! Sis was borderline 51/50 🥴. Jealous of her sister she spent her entire life trying to one up Kendall when the entire time Kendall had everything she ever wanted. Kendall was effortlessly that chick catching flights not feelings and Renee couldn’t handle it! Kendall lived a carefree life on her own terms while Renee suffered from low self esteem and deeply rooted self hate. You almost want to feel bad for Renee but her actions make you want to call up Karma and drop Renee’s location.
KJ or shall I say “D!ck em down KJ” was a hot mess 😩🤣 and Kim was right on his @$$…I can’t wait to see how he gets up out that jam because I had actually started rooting for him.
Alan was definitely my favorite and was channeling Bianca for sure! Those two together would be unstoppable 😩🤣! My boos Bambi and King made a cameo 🥰🥰 they will forever be one of my favorite book couples!

Ladii Nesha strikes again! Sis does not miss!!!! If you’re looking for a messy good time then look no further. This series is it.
Half sisters Kendall and Renee are like oil and water, the two just don’t mix. Kendall, even though she hates her father KJ, is just like him. She dates like a man and avoids commitment like the plague. Kendall is a flight attendant and loves jet setting around the world with her two best friends who are also flight attendants. Sis is living her best life. She’s normally easy going and unbothered with the exception of one person. Her half sister Renee. Renee who also has daddy issues is tormented by her past. Her father was the love ‘em and leave ‘em type and that’s exactly what he did to her mother. The trauma that Renee and her mother shared over the absence of KJ creates the heartless and conniving woman Renee is today. She’s a gold digger and basically looking for a come up and will literally do anything to keep up with the Joneses’. Renee has always been jealous of Kendall and will do all she can to try and ruin her. The lies, deceit, scandal, the foolishness, the fuckery, it’s in there. The snakes and the fakes, it’s in there. The love, friendship and sense of family it’s in there. Nesha is low key a comedic genius, the laughs and humor that I’ve come to know and love from her, it’s in there. Best friend Alan is not to be played with. He will have you doubling over in laughter. Juice, who’s just as hilarious as Alan, made me want to be apart of this crew. How Messy….it wasn’t hard for me to figure out…but I must admit that I am quite intrigued. Half sister with loads of issues…although, it appears that it’s really just one sister who really cares the issue burden. 2 men and two babies…who will the father be?

Ok… wow… I was not ready; I thought I was ready, but the way this book snatched my edges lawwwd! This was my first read by Ladii Nesha, and sis was not playing!
Oooo, the drama, treachery, and audacity in this book had me finishing all 277 pages in one sitting; I honestly couldn’t put it down. I absolutely loved Kendall, even though some of her moves had me shaking my head; that’s my girl. I’m usually called out on choosing the man’s side, but Victor was wrong on every level, and Renee just uggg 🙄
I am now invested in this story and the characters, and I neeeed to see what happens next. Y’all know I’m not here for a cliffhanger, so I’m diving back in because my heart can’t take the break 😂. I’m sure my boy Alan will lead me where I need to go!

Nesha is a mf , I tell you that…. and I mean that in the best way possible. Sis has been the definition of consistent and hasn’t missed yet. Had me chuckling and gasping the entire book. Now let’s get into catching flights …
Kendall is so frustrating but I actually feel where she’s coming from. Sis said it’s her 🐱 she can do what she wants and I love that. Like Alan said, her daddy abandonment issues need to be addressed tho. Love how she embraced her body because she and I have the same measurements 😂
Renee… I was praying a strong wind came through and blew her away because she irritated me from the synopsis. There was never a time where I felt bad for her. Agreed with her or any of that. She’s just a waste of a person. It’s sad because there’s plenty of Renee’s in this world.
Victor aka Mr. long 🍆…. idk I like him but then I’m kind of on the fence because he know he was WRONG. On the other hand I can’t blame him though. I gotta see what he’s about in book 2.

Even tho we were warned THAT CLIFFHANGER!
This was sooo messy but delightful. I enjoyed this story, it did start a little slow for my taste however when it picked up… it picked ALL the way up. Starting the next one right away because I need to know what happens next.

Lawd the Drama!
Whew the drama was at an all time high. There was a LOT going on and this ending caught me off guard.
Where do I start?? Renee and Kendall were half sisters born a few weeks apart and shared the same father. They were complete opposites. Renee was a shallow, attention seeking, name brand buying, bird brain mean girl. She was a USER. Everything was her trying to figure out what someone could do for her. I was so tiiiiiiiied of her and I'm still worried that baby is going to have all types of problems. All she wanted was a Captain save em and she found that in Victor.
Kendall was a fun, carefree, thickalicious nomad. She had an aura that seemed to naturally attract people, even though she refused to be in relationships. Her strained relationship with her father had her unwilling to even try. One thing about Kendall was that she showed up for her family even the ones that were wishy washy.
As different as Kendall and Renee were they seemed to be attracted to the same men. The mess that was occurring because of that was beyond me.
Victor was finer than wine, but he needed to pick a side. I was tired of him being all talk. He bossed up on Kendall, but couldn't find his way to really be assertive with Renee? You move her in, but don't really like her. Seriously, you are grown miss me with that.
Greg...yuck a non factor. I don't know what either of them were thinking. Renee deserves his bus pass though....
Also I cracked up laughing throughout this book. There was a good mix of humor and drama.
I'm ready to see how this all unfolds.

Whewschitt... this is a disarray! These characters are so funny! I enjoyed getting to know them. I have laughed, rolled my eyes, and almost gave myself whiplash from shaking my head. I empathize with Renee but I don't like her... like at all. Kendall is cool but she knows she's wrong. Can't wait for part 2!

I like a little drama, but my goodness this was jam-packed from the beginning. I figured a lot out very early on but was still intrigued enough to finish. For me, this went along the lines of too messy which had me questioning the mindsets of everybody. I love the friendship between Alan, Kendall, and Sydney. He rode for his friend but also wasn’t afraid to tell her when she was wrong. I also liked Sydney’s brewing relationship and would have enjoyed more from them. Favorite character was Juice.
Ends on a cliff hanger, so it’s really like one big 2-part book.
Overall, it was an enjoyable enough read. If you like drama and MESSY, I’d definitely recommend. There are plenty of funny moments as well.
Also—

one thing about ladi nesha.. shes going to give good drama and the laughs! i fell in love with the trio of kendl, sid & that damn alan! just imagine HATING your half sister just enough to run the risk of sharing TWO of the same baby daddies!!!

I loved every part of it. Even though it was exceptionally messy, it still read like a really sweet romance. I am really rooting for Victor and Kendall. Their connection is so pure and authentic. And little teacup is already a star player.
I enjoyed this story so much and can't wait to find out what happens next. I have a connection to every character, even that poor little bitter betty sister. I feel sorry for her and honestly hope she gets some help.

This is my first book by her and I’m hooked immediately. About to start part 2.
This story is deeper than I what thought than just a one night stand. It touches on eating disorders , not loving yourself , and just trying to navigate through life. It has just the right about of drama not tooo much which I love. Renee is really a bitch and she needs therapy like why who hurt sis. As far as for Kendall she’s a sweetheart and I hope she over comes every obstacle she’s facing. And I’m loving the friend group. They’re the best support system ever. 😩🥰❤️

My first book by this author. I enjoyed. All the drama it was a five stars but it needed editing regarding flow. Still would recommend. I will read part 2.

This book is sibling rivalry at its finest!! Renee is pretending be someone she’s not and think everyone is jealous of her unstable ass!! That ending had we like woah 😮!! On to book 2 to see how this rollercoaster plays out. 🤦🏽♀️

This book was an engaging read filled with drama and MESS that initially had me hooked. I genuinely enjoyed how the story pulled me into the whirlwind of relationships, betrayals, and family dynamics but while the book was entertaining, I found that the plot lacked the depth I was hoping for.
The sister’s character Renee was downright unbearable from start to finish. Her behavior and attitude made it difficult to empathize with her or even understand her motivations, which made parts of the story frustrating to read. However with that being said, the book ends on a major cliffhanger, which definitely caught my attention. Even with my mixed feelings about the story, that ending might just persuade me to pick up book two!

This author never disappoints
This book was so full of ratchet drama. I was here for every bit of it. Kendall was my spirit animal, she definitely was a love them and leave them type. She was herself and you could take it or leave it. Meanwhile Renee was a dirty underhanded mean girl. So jealous and envious she couldn’t make a connection with her sister. Alan had me cracking up, he was definitely a scene stealer! I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Messy AF
Wow, I don't think I have ever read a messier story that I enjoyed. You name it, and it's a part of this story: feuding half-sisters, sleeping around, lots of funny moments, and two babies. The cliffhanger ending didn't bother me. Now, I'm about to dive into the second book. Enjoy!

Two sisters, one man, let the best women win. Renee and Kendall are half sisters who don't care for each other. Renee is a bish and thinks she is the best thing smoking. Kendall just wants to live her life without her half-sister involved. Kendall is a flight attendant, and on one of her overnight trips, she met a man and had a one night stand. When she realized who the man was, she decided she would leave him alone. That was a lie. Kendall and Victor (the one night stand) continue to see each other and develop feelings, but Victor had a situation he was in and didn't let Kendall know about it. When the secrets are revealed, it causes problems that they barely recover from. Victor and Kendall were meant for each other, in my opinion, but Victor needed to fix his situation. Kendall wasn't a fan of love or being in a relationship because of her parents, but she was willing to give Victor a try. This book was messy as h3ll, but such a page turner. I honestly expected more from this author. Unfortunately this book was predictable from Kendall being pregnant and don't know who the dad is. Renee being jealous of her half-sister Kendall. Victor being obsessive about Kendall was exhausting as well. Renee talking down to her mom because she had weight issues.
The body positive image is displayed in this book which is good. No matter Kendall's size she was comfortable in her own skin. Juice was some funny moments.

Ugh!!
Why did you leave us like this? I’ve read several Ladii Nesha books and I think that this is my favorite. Drama galore. This book was messy and full of drama and I was here for it all. Renee got on my last nerve and Mr. Pilot needs to be with Kendall. They make a better couple. Alan had me laughing throughout the whole book, especially when he, Kendall and Sidney got together. The book was well written, flowed well and definitely kept my attention. I’m looking forward to reading book two.
