Find out in the first installment of From the Streets to a Millionaire’s Sheets.
This is my first read by this author... This storyline started off a little slow... But then picked up and had me all in... It did have a jumpy read to it and I feel like some things kind of fell off... but I liked the storyline... Stoney was young and living a rough life with her mother that became addicted to pills after a tragic accident... This causes the downfall of their family... Her mother had her out here doing some crazy things in order to get the pills that she needed... Then Stoney had to also do what she could to take care of herself and make sure the bills got paid because her mother was not handling it... She was to worried on how she was going to ger her next pill and didn't care about no bills... Stoney went to school and worked... She had a boyfriend named G that ran the streets... But she never wanted anything from him... She was still a Virgin and this was something that G desperately wanted from her... But she was not giving up what she felt she could control and that was her virginity... She wanted to make sure that she gave it to the right person... And with the way that G was acting and the things he was doing was definitely showing her that he was not the one... But he was persistent and felt like because he waited so long that he deserved to be her first... All the while he was out there sleeping around and she had to fight other women because of him... She even lost her job behind him and his mess... First she had to deal with things with her mother and now G... This was to much... Tylea was Stoney's only friend... Glad she had someone but I thought something was a little off about Tylea... Little comments that she made or how she kept pushing Stoney to talk to G... Like what was it to her... Then when Stoney helped her out of a bad situation with her boyfriend Jaylin... Now Tylea snaps on Stoney and shuts her out over a man that lied to her and treats her the way he does... But oh well... Tylea will have to find out for herself what a bad choice that she has made... With so much going on and Stoney wanting to move and make a better life for herself and not wanting to deal with all these men and the mess they keep bringing to her... She comes across an ad... With much debate... This ad drew her in and little did she know how much responding to this ad would change things for her financially and emotionally... As Stoney went through with her decision... I felt all the emotions that she was going through and this man made me so mad with how he was treating her like she was nothing... But now that that is over... What will Stoney do... Where will she end up... Will she tell anyone about what she has done... Will she relocate now that she can... I guess I will have to read part 2 to find out...
I literally had a hard time putting this book down.! It was so good and well written. The storyline was totally unique and was way beyond what I could have ever imagined. Stoney took the chance of a lifetime traveling to L.A. to fulfill the wealthy, Asad, dream. She thought it would just be a contract that would land her with a million dollars in her account. She never expected it to be anything more. In the end she was willing to give it all up but things of course did not go the way that she planned. I can only hope that now that her pockets are fatter that she doesn’t go home to a newfound hell with her ex. This was an excellent read. I’d give it 20 stars ✨ if I could. I’m anxiously waiting for the next part!
Some women shouldn't be allowed to have children. Tasha might've changed her life around in the end but the problem is what she put Stoney through before the change. Tasha abused Stoney, had her putting her freedom at risk, and tried to sell her just to support her habit. I knew Tylea wasn't going to be a good friend because Jaylin had her mind gone. I didn't like she tried to blame Stoney for what happened to her mother. G was a creep and I believe he's going to be a huge problem for Stoney. He feels like she owe him something when she truly don't. How Stoney ended up with a millionaire was unconventional. Asad seem like a sweetheart. I knew he was smitten with Stoney and he came with a little drama as well but it also seems like he is hiding something.
This was a really good read I absolutely loved Stoney she was beautiful, feisty, headstrong and did not accept any disrespect from anyone. She wanted so much more out of life than struggling but answering that ad was a blessing and a heartbreak all in one. I felt like Asad was hiding something from Stoney involving the contract and why he still was adamant about her leaving when the 30 days were over even though he had fallen for her as well. I can’t wait to see what Stoney does in part 2 after she gets home…
Yeah your heart is hurting, but you're on a mission that will make you even better of a woman that deserves the world and some your expectations are higher than ever now! Asad set that damn bar high! And no one will ever reach it! Until y'all are back together, handle your business baby girl! I'm so looking forward to your come up Stoney! You deserve all of it!
This book was everything. Very different, but I loved it from beginning to end! I felt so bad for Stoney and Asad. They were both “damaged” in their own way!! G worked my nerves and I wish he would go on about his business! Lea made me so mad with her actions and how she did Stoney!! I can’t wait to see what book two brings.
Nika Michelle you never disappoint. I enjoyed the book from beginning to end. Just like Horatio said Asad can be a standoffish asshole. I hope Asad didn't put Stoney in harm's way after the way he taked to G. I can see a baby coming even with the shot since he nutted in Stoney. .I can't wait to read book 2
One of my favorite authors is back yes this book was so ooo good it gave me a Pretty Woman kind of feel(The Movie) I love Stoney especially when she started standing up for herself. Her bff was wrong and just being stupid. I don't know if I trust that roommate yet. Awww Asad need to let go. I'm sad ready for book 2
This storyline is so different from my normal read. I really enjoyed the story and the characters. Stoney has a had a hard time all of her young life. The way she handles her come up is definitely different. G is really evil and I am glad she finally realized it. Assad has been hurt and hasn't let go of his pain. This is really good storyline. On to part two.
Stoney had a rough life! I felt so bad for the way her mother treated her. I couldn't believe the way thing went with her best friend! Gotta go Book 2 is waiting!!

Ou, this book is so captivating. The entire storyline pulled me in from the beginning and it kept getting better. I hope Asad realizes what Stoney means to him before it’s too late.
This book was so good. Ready for the next one. Nika Michelle you never disappoint. I wish I could give it 10 stars instead of 5. Keep up the great work.
