At 29, CeCe McCall is a successful Manhattan architect. She’s attractive, intelligent, personable, and is looking for a meaningful relationship. She finds it with a man who owns a fleet of commercial fishing boats. She believes her new beau might be ‘The One’. Following a successful dinner party and a night of passionate love-making, CeCe is grateful for her good fortune…
Until she is abducted and finds herself bound and gagged in the trunk of a serial killer’s car.
Although CeCe’s quirky friends often think of her as the sweet, home-spun girl-next-door, she has a past they know nothing about. This is not the first time people have tried to kill her. In every case they discover she is not the frightened, whimpering, defenseless young woman, they longed to terrorize.
I enjoyed this book by Zackary Richards and hope he writes more thrillers featuring CeCe McCall. I've read Frostie The Deadman, Half Moon Falls, and Beercules and look forward to adding the rest of his catalogue to my shelves. Definitely a "Goodread"! But don't take my word for it, get yourself a copy and enjoy!
