Just One Kiss

Rate this book
He broke her heart. Now, he’s back, and he’s determined to show her what they had isn’t over. . . and he can prove it with just one kiss.

Single mother Carly Collins likes predictability. However, when her son Jaden’s health is threatened, her neatly controlled world is tossed into a tailspin. Nothing is certain anymore, especially her feelings for Josh Dixon, Jaden’s father, her first love and the man responsible for shattering her heart sixteen years ago.

When Josh Dixon walked out of Harbor Pointe, he left behind his only shot at a real family. Now a successful tech mogul, the town rebel has found a cause—ensure his son’s recovery and prove to Carly and Jaden that he’s not the same guy he was back then.

Carly and Josh are forced to wade through messy emotions and questions that have gone unanswered for years, which would be easier if not for the pesky feelings, every bit as strong and impossible to ignore as they ever were.

Will forgiveness win, giving Carly and Josh a second chance at love . . . or will the past prove too much to overcome?

A small town romance about first love second chances and how our most beautiful life might look nothing like we planned.

A perfect second chance romance! A wonderful balance of character development, angst, humor, and romance. I loved the way the details of the characters were revealed little by little as the story unfolded. It provided a sense of anticipation as I read and I couldn't wait for the next little twist that propelled Carly and Josh closer together again. Their son Jaden was a strong element with not only his amiable personality and health dilemma, but his faithfulness and willingness to encourage his parents to seek a relationship with God. There is a powerful theme of forgiveness and grace, not just for others but for oneself. I always appreciate the depth in this author's stories!

Deeply moving, incredibly heart wrenching story - in a return to the fictional Lake Michigan shoreline town of Harbor Pointe. Each one of the books in this series, has tackled some truly challenging plot lines. There's a mystery lying behind why Josh left Carly all those years ago to face motherhood alone. While she is dealing with a deeply rooted, justified anger towards the father of her son Jayden, Josh is hiding a secret so painful he's sacrificed years without the only woman he has ever loved. As the story begins - Josh has already made steps to reunite with his now teenage son. Jayden's open and willing acceptance of his father is something Carly sees as a level of forgiveness she knows she'll never be able to attain herself.

While this story definitely takes you on a journey, it won't be one you bargained for. Incredibly hard read at times, every step of the way your empathy for Josh will deepen and grow, all the while begging for the world stop, pay attention and understand the plight so many of the worlds innocent children face today. It's hard to understand such cruelty. Or even why some are left to face these things. Even the issues Carly & Josh must face together as parents - are incredibly challenging, spiritually and mentally. This book takes on two major conflicts, both serious, complex and eye opening.

I appreciated the sensitivity to Walsh's writing. So much tenderness & thought appear to have been put into this story - and lessons of hope & forgiveness is
are the result. What an incredible series, each leaving you weighing the story in your mind long after the final page of the book has been read.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. This is my honest review.

I just finished reading my ARC a second time. Walsh is such a talented and gifted writer.

This story dealt with some really challenging topics and I love books that really cause you to think about trials in life. Even though I couldn't directly related to the hardships in this book the writing was so we'll done that I really did feel a lot of the pain the characters were dealing with.

I was especially impressed with Jaden! In some ways he was a typical teenager, but in many ways he was wiser than his years. It was a nice change of pace to read a teenager that was a strong Christian.

I loved Carly because she was real. She was moody at times and snarky and it was so realistic and perfect. I can be sarcastic and snarky sometimes and it really helped me relate to her. I also appreciated her honesty throughout this book. But most of all I connected to a character that has made and lives with mistakes in their past. Sometimes Christian Fiction leans too heavily toward "perfect" characters and I love the realistic ones so much more.

I didn't love Josh much at first. But after reading the book a second time I'm so in love with him! Men like him are the good ones. They are hard to find. I like that he knew his faults and worked hard to better himself (in more ways than one).

This book has so many truths about life in it. It has sin in it of various types. But the characters learn and grow through their sins. The forgiveness throughout this book is very Christlike.

Last but not least the romance is fantastic!!! There are some great kissing scenes and lots of flirting! I highlighted so many favorites where chemistry just jumped off the page between Carly and Josh!

I received an advanced copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review.

Sweet novel about giving love a second chance. Josh and Carly split up 16 years ago when their son Jaden was a baby. The chemistry between Josh and Carly is evident although Carly tries to deny it...repeatedly. Several cute moments between them in the pages. I was cheering for them to reunite 100%.

With author Courtney Walsh's latest release, we return to the fictional town of Harbor Pointe for a story of second chances, family, and romance. Just One Kiss is the third book set in this quaint town and reads as a standalone, though you will delight over learning more about the straightforward and bright teenager, Jaden, who had an important role in book 2, Just Let Go.

Courtney Walsh never fails to make me smile, swoon over the romance, and cry over the deeply emotional moments in her stories. Just One Kiss is further proof! I loved it!

Part rekindled love, part family drama, and part small town charming, this story has no qualms with facing the hard questions of life, likes the "whys" and the challenges of extending grace for second chances.

I have read several reviews of this book noting it is Courtney Walsh's best yet. While I can't pick a favorite of her books (I have really loved them all!), I can say that Walsh is at the top of her storytelling game with Just One Kiss. The way it balances serious themes with lighthearted moments, just the right amount of drama and romance, surprises that really deepen the story, and even details like *showing* the backstory of Carly and Josh through flashback scenes all impress me. The combination of hallmark-like moments (dress shop!) with weighty moments in hospital waiting rooms and the vulnerability of opening your heart (letting go of anger) and offering someone a second chance all work to make this an impactful story.

Just One Kiss is a book I will return to and love just as much upon rereading. There is a relatable humanity in all of the characters, through their flaws, dreams, and questions, that makes it memorable and unique. Its message of forgiveness and the simplicity of grace is desperately needed in our world.

Thank you to the author for the review copy. This is my honest review.

I'm a mixed bag of emotions on this one but in the very best way possible.

Author, Courtney Walsh, delivers a stirring story that balances heavy themes woven gently between the fine threads of romance, humor, deep characters, and a message that I won't soon forget. There's something so deep-rooted in Carly and Josh's story that it felt like I was watching a real family traverse the uneven terrain of life. The heartache of a sick child touched home for me personally and while that was a major point in the plot it was the relationship between Josh and Carly that had me reading long into the night just to find out what was going to happen next. I think that's an excellent sign of great character development and authenticity.

This story deals with hard issues and wraps up more quickly than I wanted (I didn't want to stop hanging out with these people) but the message of forgiveness, courage, and love make it a hard-to-forget novel.

Just One Kiss is a near-perfect contemporary romance - one of my new favorites!

Courtney Walsh does a great job of revealing Josh and Carly's past, endearing them more and more to the reader with each episode of childhood compassion and teenage love. Their pasts meld seamlessly with their adult insecurities and failures - enough to keep them apart for 16 years, but not enough to overcome the affection, love, and chemistry that's always been there.

A delight to read from beginning to end, with plenty of swoony romance but depth as well. Minor characters - including Grady and Quinn from Just Let Go - are well drawn and integrated into the plot. This one might even merit a re-read.

Believable

This story felt very real and raw. The characters motives and emotions were believable. I love stories of redemption and second chances and this is a good one. It really took me on a journey and left me satisfied.

“I would do anything for you, Carly Collins. And that’ll be true until the day I die.”

“From the very second he had asked her out, Carly knew she would never love anyone the way she loved him.”

New York Times Bestselling Author Courtney Walsh’s latest contemporary romance novel, Just One Kiss, thoroughly captivates her readers with a heartwarming and emotional story that demonstrates the power of true love and redemption through faith and forgiveness.

Josh Dixon has been in love with Carly Collins ever since they were young. The horrors of his childhood continue to haunt him as an adult, and Josh walks out on his chance for a real family with Carly and their infant son. Sixteen years later, Josh returns to Harbor Pointe when his son is hospitalized, and he is determined to win Carly back. Walsh weaves together a powerful story of romance, humor, and second chances as their son’s recovery brings Josh and Carly together and Josh attempts to overcome the painful memories of his childhood.

Readers will find themselves laughing out loud at the banter between Josh and Carly and wiping away tears as they discover the pain that Josh endured growing up and the life-changing secret that his parents have kept from him all these years. Courtney Walsh is a master of contemporary romance, and readers will be rooting for Josh Dixon to finally get his girl back. Courtney Walsh is one of my favorite must-read authors, and I think that Just One Kiss is her best novel yet! This novel will definitely be one of my top reads for 2019.

With his short dark hair, charismatic personality, and his tortured past, Josh is the perfect hero for readers to fall in love with. His never-ending love and devotion to Carly will have readers swooning and begging Carly to give Josh a second chance. Courtney Walsh was able to make me laugh out loud and also brought me to tears in this novel, so be ready with a box of tissues!

Trust me...this is one contemporary romance novel that you want to be sure to read!

Just One Kiss is highly recommended for fans of contemporary romance and for readers who enjoy novels by authors such as Denise Hunter, Becky Wade, Melissa Tagg, and Susan May Warren. For readers who have never read a novel by Courtney Walsh, this is the perfect opportunity! You will not be disappointed!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author/publisher and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.

“Easy, laid back and sexy as all get out. That pretty much summed up Josh Dixon. And none of those things were what she should be thinking about right now. Untrustworthy, unreliable and unfaithful. That’s what she should be thinking.”

“He’d forgotten how much he liked her. She wasn’t like other women. She was smart and funny and a little bit sarcastic. She pushed his buttons and she made him want to be better. A deep sense of longing pulsed through his body. He just wanted a second chance—to prove to her he could be the man she needed. God, that’s all I’m asking for.”

'I promise that in all things you will forever be my always.'

Every once in a while you read a book that just dives so deep into your heart and involves your emotions to such a degree that you can't even think about picking up another book right away; a book that makes you smile and cry and just wonder in amazement at the depth of love a man has for a woman. This is that book.

Josh Dixon left Carly Collins with an infant and walked out of her life. He left Carly broken. Now their 16 year old son is having serious health issues and Josh is determined to help and also to prove to Carly that he is so sorry for his past and is determined to win her back. Carly wants nothing to do with this plan. Josh had reasons for leaving and he has had to deal with incredibly painful hurts, but he can't bear to tell Carly.

This is quite possibly the most poignant, tender and moving romance I have ever read. I can't really describe adequately how this book made me feel. Walsh has given us a story full of a love that has endured through over twenty years, a love that knows no bounds and is incapable of fading. Josh Dixon is a hero that will stay with me, that's for sure. He has been hurt beyond imagining, and the girl who loved him through the hurt is the girl he has loved deeply and will love forever. I do not think there is a woman alive who would not want to be loved the way Josh Dixon loves Carly Collins. It's a love that's nearly tangible on the page! I highly, highly recommend this novel.

Yay another awesome read in the Harbor Pointe series. I've never felt more devoted to a fictional small town haha.

In the third book of the series, we see a second chance romance between childhood sweethears Carly and Josh (who also had a teen pregnancy..). Truthfully, when I heard about Josh in the last book, I was NOT looking forward to reading this one and didn't think I would root for the romance. Boy, was I wrong.

I actually think this book is my new favorite of the series!! Also, quick note: these books all exist in the same universe and intertwine slightly, but totally can be read as standalones if you'd prefer.

Courtney Walsh consistently crafts charming characters who steal their way into my reader heart and compelling storylines which challenge and captivate. Her stories set the bar ever-higher yet glide over it with ease!

Just One Kiss combines innocence, guilt, attraction, anguish, faith, and forgiveness in a childhood-best-friends-to-romance-to-second-chance-romance like no other! In my opinion, every single element within this story is absolutely without a doubt on point! Characters are genuine, flawed, and relatable. The setting is picturesque and charming. The backstory is introduced in a gradual manner which always keeps the momentum moving forward.

I highly recommend this book and I look forward to reading it again and again! Just One Kiss is without a doubt among my all-time favorite stories!

Fantastic book. I enjoyed the first two in the series and this one gripped me from the start. Poor Josh and Carly. Especially Josh. Oh my. I felt like I took every breath with the two of them. Allowed myself to cling to the slightest encouragement and then was curled up at each miscommunication.

For me, this book is Courtney Walsh's best so far. It ticked every box and was a joy and a delight to read.

===

The phone on his desk buzzed, vibrating off the glass and disrupting the quiet. He looked down and saw Carly’s name lighting up the screen. To his dismay, his ex only called him for one reason: Jaden.

But when would she finally realize he was different now? It had been nearly a year of keeping every promise. Would she ever forgive him? Would he ever forgive himself?

Memories of everything he’d done, things Carly didn’t even know about. Things nobody knew. Would there ever be a day the past stopped haunting him?

He’d done everything he could to move beyond his failed relationship with his high school sweetheart, but he’d failed at that too.

She’d stopped believing him the day he walked out the door.

Untrustworthy, unreliable and unfaithful. That’s what she should be thinking.

He didn’t understand Carly anymore. He’d been away too long. He’d made too many mistakes. It was hard to believe that once upon a time, they’d had such an easy relationship.

It would’ve been good for the three of us to be together at Jaden’s first birthday, at his baptism, his first ski competition.

In Just One Kiss, single mother Carly Collins is strong and determined and more than capable. But when her son, Josh has a fall and ends up in the hospital for testing on his heart, it brings Josh's father back to Harbor Pointe and into Carly's life. She knows never to trust Josh again, but Josh is determined to show Carly just how much he has changed. It's a romantic novel about forgiveness, facing the past and second changes, all wrapped up in a heart warming story about family. Lots of familiar faces from the first two books in the series and it was great to return to this cozy little town.

Just One Kiss is a second chances story with a lot of heart. It’s not always easy to root for a guy who walked out on his family when his son was just an infant, but Josh’s humility won me over from the beginning. He acknowledges that he’s given Carly no reason to trust him and therefore makes no demands, but he’s determined to prove to her by his actions that he has changed, and that means being there for both Carly and Jaden when Jaden faces a health crisis.

What made this story even more engaging was that, despite rooting for Josh, I could totally understand Carly’s desire to protect her heart from further disappointment. And Courtney Walsh brought this tension to every scene without having her characters resort to pettiness and overdone animosity. Neither did they see-saw between giving in to their attraction and pushing each other away. Rather, Josh steadily chipped away at Carly’s defenses with his gentle flirting AND his steadfast determination to be the man she and Jaden need. Not to mention that one kiss… Okay, so maybe that was the one exception to the “steadily chipping away” comment!

I did find some of both Carly’s and Josh’s inner narratives a little repetitive at times, particularly in the earliest chapters of the novel, and there were also some predictable moments in the plot, but these things only detracted momentarily from my overall enjoyment of the story. And if I hadn’t already been sympathetic toward Josh, learning his history as it came out through the novel would have clinched it.

Finally, I can’t conclude without mentioning Jaden and his example of unmerited grace toward Josh:
No, he couldn’t explain everything to Jaden—maybe not ever—but it turned out Jaden didn’t ask for explanations or reasons. He simply said, "Let’s start over, Dad."
And so they did.
Nobody in all his years had ever shown him that kind of grace.

Jaden’s health issues provided a great focus for the story and added a whole extra layer of heart, both literally and figuratively!

In short, if you’re looking for a second chances story that will reel you in, heart and all, then make sure you pick this one up.

I received a copy of this novel from the author. This has not influenced the content of my review, which is my honest and unbiased opinion.

Just One Kiss hooked me with the return to Harbor Pointe. I’ve enjoyed the characters, settings, and love found.

What surprised me about this book: Josh Dixon. Y’all, I seriously did not expect to like him. At. All! But I did. He quickly wormed his way into my heart and I just couldn’t help but root for him. Seriously, this is probably one of the few times that I liked the guy way more than the girl. What can I say, I’m a sucker for redemptive characters.

What I didn’t like: Ms. Walsh giving me a heart attack with Jaden’s health. I won’t go into a lot of detail but those scenes had me on pins and needles. That is all I’m going to say.

What made me swoon: that one kiss. If you read it, you know it. If not, you’ll know it when you get to it.

All in all, my return trip to Harbor Pointe was as good as I expected with some sweet surprises and a deserving hero.

This was such a beautiful and raw story about how your doubts and self crimination can keep you from a life of love and abundance.

Josh made mistakes and he was not perfect, but I loved seeing the changes in him after getting his life right and how he just committed to be there for his family even though there was a bit of doubt and mistrust.

Jaden was such a solid christian with strong faith for an 16 year old. His character gave me hope that with lots of prayer and correct input, my boys can also become young adults with strong faith with all of life’s distractions and challenges.

A beautiful second chance story.

Just One Kiss was simply wonderful! I loved this story as much as I loved that beautiful cover!

A few things stood out to me as very realistic in this story. One of them was the anger that Carly held onto. She had been hurt emotionally very deeply by Josh and had continually cultivated anger and distrust for him for sixteen years. Even though he showed her over and over again in this story that he was reliable and cared about her and Jaden, it made complete sense to me that she had trouble trusting him.

The attraction these two had for each other was also very realistic. The hurt Carly had from Josh’s abandonment was so deep because she had loved him so much.

I wondered before I began reading this book how the author would make me be sympathetic toward Josh. I didn’t know if she could make me relate to why Josh left in the first place. Well, she did! Josh had so much baggage and emotional mess from his childhood. He did what he thought he had to do and it was very emotional to read about all he went through and the beliefs he held about himself.

And, finally, the way Josh and Carly related to each other regarding Jaden’s health issues seemed very realistic to me. Both of them had a special relationship with Jaden, yet they also had to work together as some type of family in the decisions they made. It was interesting to see how they all functioned together. I loved this story!

Courtney Walsh always delivers a beautiful story that grips you emotionally and makes you fall in love with it, and this one was no different.
We got a brief overview of Carly and Josh’s history in the previous book of this series so I was very intrigued to see how everything would work out. I will admit that I was a little leery of how I would feel about Josh after what he did, and if this author could redeem him. But, you guys, Josh was AMAZING! I loved his character so much. Yes, his leaving his family when he was young was horrible, but you get to see the heart behind his actions and the “why” broke my heart and kinda made me love him more. He never pushes with Carly and Jaden, letting Carly take the lead both with their parenting and with their relationship. He just continually shows up again and again, loving unconditionally and sacrificially, proving over and over that he is a changed man that isn’t going anywhere.
Carly, I’ll admit, I had a little bit of a tough time liking. She was understandably bitter and angry after Josh had left. But she never fully dealt with it, so even 16 years later the ugly was still coming out. She was so sure that Josh couldn’t be trusted that she saw his every action and word through the lens of the past. I understood how it was necessary for the plot of the book but it sure made her hard to love. In the end though I was glad she finally saw Josh as the man he’d become! And while Carly may have not been my favorite, I loved seeing her through Josh’s eyes as the girl he would never stop loving, the one he saw as beautiful whether she was dressed up or in ratty sweats. His always.
Jaden was a great kid too, yes he had some typical teen moments but I loved his heart for good and the easy way he lived out his faith, especially when it came to his dad.
I absolutely loved seeing their family work through all the issues of the past to find healing together.
It was also great to visit Harbor Pointe again and catch up with some of the residents especially Quinn and Grady from Just Let Go!
Basically this was another amazing novel from the great Courtney Walsh!

“Nobody in all his years had ever shown him that kind of grace. It had been one of his life’s greatest gifts...”

Wow. This is the first Courtney Walsh book I have read and I’m wishing for extra 6 hours a day for the next week so that I can read all of her books I have languishing away on my TBR pile in my bookcase and my e-reader without any interruption. The author’s writing totally blew me away with its raw intensity, honesty, and gritty emotion. The plot is superbly crafted with a seamless weaving of flashbacks with the present day and perfectly timed revelations of past secrets. The characters are incredible and the element of faith is strong and consistent.

I surprisingly connected right away with Josh, a man who left his girlfriend and newborn son 16 years ago. He’s grown up, found success, reconnected with his son Jaden but still is hurting from his past. His kind faithful heart has been shadowed for too long due to his self-recrimination. When he is called back to his hometown due to Jaden’s illness, he seizes the opportunity to make amends. Josh’s salvation story is pretty amazing and he takes his redemption quite seriously. Carly is still angry, hurt, and wary from how Josh left her but, as she and Josh spend time together for Jaden’s sake, she realizes that her view of their past may be skewed. Jaden is an unbelievable 16 year old with his solid faith and confidence.

This heart-stirring novel about forgiveness, second chances, and grace will burrow deep into your soul. It’s book 3 in Harbor Pointe novels but it can definitely be read as a stand-alone. If you enjoy well-written contemporary romance, you will definitely love this book.

I'm not sure how Ms. Walsh does it, but wow. She simply knows how to write emotions and characters that I get. Every single time! The situations her characters are in may be different than mine, but their emotions? The choices they face and the uncertainties that surround their hearts? That I get for sure. So of course you know that means I fell in love with this story, right?

Let me set the record straight by saying that yes, Ms. Walsh writes a fabulous romance in this book. And as we all know, I am a big fan of romance! (And goodness, what great chemistry those two have going on!) But what really stood out to me with this story were the struggles and the growth that needed to happen for our characters to truly reach their happy ever after. Carly and Josh felt like real people who have made real mistakes, have dealt with real hurt, and have real emotions that need processed. I was with them every step, rooting for them both to realize just how much they bring out the best in each other. How they challenge and motivate the other to live life with all they've got. Josh's utter devotion to Carly is to be noted as well. Because whoa that man knows how to make a woman swoon. ;)

Can I also add that I loved Jaden? He was such an awesome addition to Carly and Josh's journey! Not to mention all the other characters that make their way throughout the chapters. Especially a few familiar ones! Each one just adds depth to the story and swept me into this wonderful community that I wish were real.

Long story short? Ms. Walsh writes so beautifully and the characters are so worth spending time with. Soooo....I say you'd better just stop everything and check this story out now! It's a keeper, folks. I think you should discover this wonderfulness for yourself.

oh my goodness. I have a feeling this will end up being one of my top favorites for the year.

I really loved this story. Carly and Josh's relationship follows a little bit of a "missed communication" type situation, which I usually don't like, but this was one of the best books I've read with this trope. the whole conflict was one that couldn't be solved by simple communication; it took time and healing before they could come to that conclusion which made the ending so much more satisfying knowing they got the closure they needed to move forward together. I just really enjoyed getting to know them and seeing their relationship develop - Walsh did an amazing job fleshing out these characters and giving them heart-string-pulling backstories.

I can't recommend this series enough... very excited to read the next one!

I didn't have enough tissues on my nightstand!!

Where to even start with this one? The books in this series just keep getting better. I read Just One Kiss in 3 days, which is quite the feat for me these days.

From the very first sentence my attention was captured and I was sucked into the story and the characters' lives. I'm so, so glad Carly Collins and Josh Dixon got a whole novel!

This was a second chance romance, with beautiful aspects of forgiveness, and at times a bit of an enemies to lovers factor with all the history Carly and Josh had that created some difficulty.

And I have to say their teenage son, Jaden, was an incredible side character that was definitely a favorite. His strong faith. His part in his dad, Josh, coming to know Jesus. The way he kept dropping comments to his separated parents to get then back together. His strength and yet weaknesses as he faced heart surgery and the possible loss of a dream. Ugh! Such a good story!

Carly is a strong, independent woman too. But, oh, she had so much riding on her shoulders with being a single mom, hoping for a job promotion, struggling to figure out how she could care for her recovering son and keep the bills paid. The obstacles encountered in this book were so realistic.

And then there is Josh. Oh, Josh! What a deep, deep story there. I hurt for him the whole way through. Wishing I could help him open up, and make Carly forgive him. At times they drove me crazy as it took so long for them to find their way back to the love they'd shared that drove them beyond the lines of propriety as teens. And then when things started coming back into Josh' memory about the accident that ruined everything for him and led him to abandon Carly and Jaden shortly after Jaden's birth...I just started sobbing. All that Josh endured through his childhood. The lies he believed. All that his mom went through. It was all just too much...but the second chance/forgiveness storyline of the book was absolutely tear-jerking beautiful. I just can't even!!

Because of all this, I really want to give it a 5 star, but there were a few scenes that were flashbacks to Carly and Josh's teenage promiscuity that made me feel a little uncomfortable and I more or less skimmed over them. It just felt like a little TMI to me, but that is my only complaint about this book, and I wanted to mention so you could be aware of the content.

Overall enjoyed this emotional second chance love story. I had a hard time liking Carly. I could understand her want to protect her heart, but it's not much fun to read a romance about an angry, bitter woman. It made me respect Josh all that much more for being in love with and faithful to her over all the years when she was like that; and yes, it did seem like she was the one who pushed him away years ago anyway, then blamed him for leaving. The more we learned about their backstory, the more invested I became in this book. I liked the story development, and I liked Josh and Jaden, but I prefer stories with more faith content in them so I might or might not continue reading books by this author.

Ontroerend verhaal over een eerste liefde en tweede kansen! De eerste twee delen uit deze serie heb ik ook graag gelezen maar dit verhaal greep mij vast vanaf het begin en liet mij tot het einde niet meer los.
