PAYBACK: A Beth Papadakis Thriller Book 4
PAYBACK picks up from book 3, PANIC, where Beth comes face to face with criminal activity and the dark, vicious underbelly of organized crime in Spain.
Her friend Helen, who joined her on the weekend break to the Costa Tropical, becomes involved with someone whose circumstances forced him to work for a drug baron smuggling hashish from Morocco.
In PAYBACK, Beth leaves the safety of London to return to Malaga to help her friend Helen, but she gets involved even deeper into the world of organized crime, drug and people trafficking, and eventually, emotionally attached to someone.
She travels to the drug capital of Spain to help those being forced to work for the Drug King Pin escape, and to help women brought illegally into Spain to escape from being forced to work in the sex trade.
While all this is happening, Beth's friend Dev, who works for MI6, is working with Interpol to bring a stop to the illicit drug and people trafficking into Southern Spain.
When he learns Beth's in the drug capital of Spain trying to help people escape from a vicious and ruthless Drug King Pin, he tries to stop her, but she's in too deep. Her life's now in terrible danger.
This very dark crime thriller takes you from the streets of London to the treacherous mountain roads and exciting streets of Granada, along the sandy beaches of the Costa del Sol to La Linea, drug capitol of Spain. PAYBACK is Book 4 in the Beth Papadakis series.
