'There's nothing Sam would love more than to have more time: time to spend eating delicious food at her gran's, time to play around with her cheeky younger brother and their cat, Tangy - maybe even time to actually have hobbies! But getting in the way of time is WORK. It's not that Sam doesn't like her job, but it doesn't leave much room for anything else. Could the answer to this conundrum lie in a time-travelling diary bestowed to her by a mysterious, magical feline who doesn't seem in the least bit suspicious at all...?'
For anyone who's burning themselves out trying to get ahead, this is the story for you. It's sweet and imaginative and it resonated with me on a big level.
Such a cute graphic novel about work-life balance, and not getting so swept up in the capitalistic hellscape of working as hard as you can to save up for the future that you forget to spend time enjoying your life with your loved ones! We can learn so much from cats, it's true!
I thought the art style was so cute and dynamic, and I really liked the usage of just orange in the color scheme. The art style actually reminded me a lot of the The Cat Returns film by Studio Ghibli. There were a few panels that were difficult to follow what exactly was being depicted, but overall, I really liked it visually.
A lovely, short graphic novel about the importance of taking breaks. All the characters and the world were so charming and I loved the artstyle. The supernatural element with the cat agents could have been explored more but it doesn't hurt the overall experience for me in the slightest. As a side note, Juni deserves her own story, she's so cute
I didn't actually know what this story was about when I backed it on Kickstarter; just that the art was adorable. It ended up coming to me at just the right time, and there were a couple parts that really struck a chord with me.
I really liked the morale that our time should not be spent working - we should take time for ourselves, resting or spending time with people we love. I related the most when Sam shut her computer at work and said " Stop. Leave it. We did enough. " Putting clear limits on when to stop working is something I am trying to learn.

This was a gift for my burn-out from a friend <3 (not as a congratulation but as a 'take care of you' gift) and it was a really nice read. I honestly was super tired when I read it and had a really hard time reading the pages with the cat's and the clocks and a lot of things going on. And I don't know if I was supposed to feel annoyed when Sam's loved one's wanted to see her, but I did, because she had so little time already XD I hope I get to read and enjoy it when I'm less tired ! It's a fun and wholesome comic about taking time for yourself despite capitalism.

A cute story of a woman who works too much, missing out on family and life things in the process, who gets visited by a magic cat that grants her the gift of time travel via a planner. Will she use the planner to work more or to relax like a cat?
A light tale with a healthy moral, elevated further by some truly wonderful art. Liang's style is both very fitting for the story, and a delight in itself. If I found the story a tiny bit stretched at points, I was still happy to have many pages of lovely visuals.
a fantastic, involving story that will hit home for anyone who feels like they never have enough time. Liang's art is perfect for this story, clean and cute and simplified almost to abstraction without ever losing legibility, it feels fluid, perfect for a story about slipping through time and time slipping out of your grasp.
clean sparse lines, cute shapes, comforting colors, a light/heavy story, cats that look like they know the secrets of life (I guess they do). I didn't realize this story would be about combating burnout and appreciating life in the moment, but I connected with it. YOLO etc, let's take a cat's day.
this is hits too hard as a first year art student. I cried. the art is also gorgeous. I dream for my first graphic novel to look like this. So expressive and fun and jumpy, it’s such an admirable skill to make still drawings look like they’re moving!!!! the subtle futuristic world is so amazing And I like cats
beautiful, enchanting art style, and I appreciate the story’s characters and sentiment. I did find the writing to be a bit too tidy generally (see the almost exclusively individual ‘solution’ to what is plainly a institutional issue that is almost fully absent in representation), and over explanatory at the end specifically.
O que você faria se ganhasse um planner mágico pra viajar no tempo? Uma história de burnout e tempo de qualidade, com gatos sobrenaturais no pacote. O desenho é muito lindo e amei vários recursos usados nos quadrinhos!
I think everyone needs to be reminded of the lessons that protagonist Sam learns the hard way. It's the kind of book for the young, middle aged, and old; for students, workers, and especially managers.
This was super cute. I love the black/white/yellow colour scheme! The story has a message that feels very relatable and relevant in this world…about work/life balance and building a life you actually enjoy
As someone who (currently) finds it near impossible to work, my self-worth is nearly nonexcistent because of it. This story made me remember why one should work in the first place.
