While a bit dated, this handbook was an excellent entryway into the world of eating disorders, and how to begin to address them from both a clinical counseling and a Christian standpoint. It had plenty of real-life examples that are still relevant today, and it addressed (at a surface level) the different facets of eating disorders. It was also pretty comprehensive from a Christian perspective, addressing how treatment can be integrated with faith, and how faith (alongside family) can be a strong factor in fighting.
