This prequel novella suggests the start of an interesting series. It was an easy read that I accomplished in one sitting. Spice was minimal in this novella but hints at much more to come. The FMC is headstrong and constantly butting heads with her father and those around her. I’m curious to see what becomes of her throughout her journey for independence.
