Of all of Yahia's book, this one was a gem! After my studies of the mystical qabalah, I have came to believe that it is a map of consciousness, but not the best tool for a map of life. Yahia has delivered the map of life with her spiritual adulting book. She begins the book by introducing the Twelve Truths to Spiritual Adulting and how these truths will help guide the reader back to spiritual wholeness.

Truth One: Truth of Thought
Truth Two: Truth of Desire
Truth Three: Truth of Emotion and Breath
Truth Four: Truth of Instinct, Intellect and Intuition
Truth Five: Truth of Ego, Personality and Soul
Truth Six: Truth of Purification and Health
Truth Seven: Truth of Balance and Fun
Truth Eight: Truth of the Shadow
Truth Nine: Truth of Wisdom and Mentorship
Truth Ten: Truth of Simplicity and Silence
Truth Eleven: Truth of Service
Truth Twelve: Truth of Unity

Yahia goes on and identifies the spiritual adulting archetypes with a visual map that begins with the Moon and Sun, then peaks with Chiron and Lilith. This map is the ladder to spiritual adulting. But, how does one climb the ladder? Yahia provides the patterns that we all experience throughout our life which she explains into detail.

Yahia will also explain the importance of dethroning our parents. This means we take our throne in the Void for we are children of the Void. We don't disown our parents for that will allow them to continue to live through us (we never actually disown, they are in our psyche). After I identify my wound , heal my wound, then identify my parent's good and bad buckets, integrate their light/shadow aspects because I am on their thread of consciousness, dethrone my parents, claim my life (not theirs), and then "do it differently" than my parents.

Mythology is sprinkled throughout the book, for Yahia uses myths to help the reader understand that the Universe will speak through myth (and symbols). She also provides excellent case studies from her experience on how spiritual adulting is essential. Some of her clients that come to her have no idea that they are not living their life, but their parents' lives. She helps the clients (and reader) identify the "crack in the snow globe", which we all have a crack because we were born with lower consciousness.

The book is well organized by chapters which goes in depth about the Saturn and Jupiter cycles. Yahia explained the Saturn cycles of ages 0,7,14,21...84 and the Jupiter cycles of 12,24,36....84. (And also dives deeper with other planetary cycles AND even deeper with the Rahu-Ketu cycle). She provides plenty of context on how these cycles provide opportunities for consciousness growth. This includes N-years (neutralizer or nemesis) and V-years (valor, close cycles of karma). In closing with a truncated review, I highly recommend this book for it can serve as a guide for consciousness growth.
