Although I loved the chemistry between Malcolm and Serena, Serena really needed to make up her mind and stick to it. I loved Malcolm's grandmother and her wisdom of helping Malcolm and Serena avoid the mistakes she made in her own love-life.

Time waits for no one, so stop wasting it!

Lets do it again

Great read.. I couldn't put down once I started to read it. A love that couldn't be forgotten, that stayed strong even for very young teenagers. That first love is so very strong. Many don't get to carry that thru a lifetime. Congrats to these two guys.

Yes, Let's Definitely Do It Again!

I thoroughly enjoyed the set-up of Mama Saint James. She played Malcolm and Serena like a fine tuned piano. I love the way Niobia took you back to their childhood, and teenage years and then brought you right back to their present relationship or lack of. The steamy intimacy, was definitely HOT, HOT, HOT, but of course Niobia is known for that. More importantly the emotions just leapt off the pages. Just a great book from start to finish. And talk about LOL, it was definitely funny. I loved some of the one-liners from both Malcolm and Serena. Keep 'em coming, Ms. Niobia!

Something worth fighting for

I don't remember reading Malcolm and Serena's story the first time, but I'm glad got to read it this time. Unfortunately for them, they reunited at the death of a loved one. I'm so glad Mama James did what she had to do to get them together again. With friends like Monique, you never need an enemy.

Second Chance

Story of Maxwell and Serena Saint James. Married at eighteen and divorced at twenty. Maxwell's grandmother had a plan to get them back together. When she passed away she had a stipulation in her will that they had to spend two months together in order to get their inheritance. Story of maturity.

This book was about reuniting with the love that "got away"

It was somewhat predictable and Serena was in constant pity-party mode! Malcolm's character was a little more redeemable and made it clear that he was not going to kiss up to Serena.

Although it was touch and go, it was a HEA for the St. James'

Second Chances can happen...

Living life gives you the opportunity to see things that only maturity brings.....with that being said....it was a pleasure to get to know Malcolm and Serena, and see how much they learned and matured into the individuals that their love was destined to be....and I too, thank Mama James

I enjoyed reading this book so much so that I did it in three days. This is noteworthy as it is the first romance type novel I ever read and to add, she is African American.
