A witch with the gift of air. A shifter bred in legacy. An immortal world on the brink. Greer My coven relies on me to be strategic… but it’s becoming harder each day. Our list of enemies is growing, and we’re inching closer to war with the witches who want to destroy us. They believe our kind isn’t supposed to mate other immortals. As a hybrid coven, we work twice as hard to survive. But things can always get worse. While we prepare to go on the offensive against the leaders of witchkind, I discover our most trusted ally, Alpha Aleksandr, is my fated mate. Our union would solidify the bond between his pack and my coven. I should be thrilled… and I was. Until he told me he mated someone else. Aleksandr My pack is my father's legacy, and I honor him every day. But Greer makes me question everything, including what kind of male I want to be. She’s the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen… but she’ll never be mine. There’s far more at work than she knows. I would sacrifice our happiness for her safety, even if she hates me in the end. Because I was made to love the brilliant witch, and there’s a fine line between love and pain. Zephyr is a deliciously dark and steamy paranormal romance. It features fated mates (rejected mate), knotting, a dirty-talking and alpha shifter hero, and a badass heroine who brings him to his knees. Each book in the Immortal Coven series has an HEA for the couple, but the series has an overarching plot.

*Thank you to the author for an ARC of this title.*

Zephyr follows Greer as she navigates her relationship with Alpha Aleksandr's pack. Working to create allies and build a strong force to stand against the evils opposing her coven of Hybrid witches. It looks like it will be easier than she thought when they discovered they are Fated Mates until... Alek tells her he already has a mate.

Devastated, she is now struggling to maintain the relationship at great personal cost. This was supposed to be easy, he is their closest ally.. but now being around him is agony. To feel his eyes and sense his presence but never have the hope of a future...

Alek is struggling too.. because he's keeping a big secret. But he refuses to make it Greer's problem. Except the biggest problem he may ever face is trying to resist his gorgeous, brilliant, and powerful mate. But can he ask for her help after rejecting her and making her feel so alone?

This book surprised me in so many ways. Amara Rae is so talented and tuned into the story she is telling. All of these books have had a Fated element so far, and she still finds a way to make it fresh, sexy, and unexpected every time. I was so nervous about this couple but I trusted the story and dived in head first. I was not disappointed.

Greer is one of the strongest heroines in the series and it comes from a place where she feels so weak and helpless in her feelings. Yet, she is able to take that shame and make it her strength. She was just so inspiring to watch. And I promise... Alek knows how lucky he is. His grovel is excellent and his obsession with her and her pleasure really won me over.

The steam is absolutely top notch in this one and I am not questioning some of my "sminks". Hahaha! Somehow Amara always does that to me.

I look forward to the next book and I am ready for whatever the Immortal Coven throws my way next!

Ooh the mutual pinning and heartbreak killed me. My eyes were glued to the pages, I couldn't put this down. This was my first rejected mates trope and wow! What have I been waiting for!? I don't know about other books with rejected mates, but Zephyr was perfectly done!

My new favorite character of the series is Aleks. Stubborn to a fault, but also loyal, kind and lets not forget is **dirty** mouth. He keeps everything locked deep down inside because of his need for control over everything. Not in a million years would I guess the reason behind his rejection.

My favorite part of these books, other than the smutt 😏, is the character growth as individuals and as couple! Aleks was ment to be Greer and help her stop analyzing every single thing.

It's currently just after 4 AM as I'm writing this, because I stayed up waaaaay past my bedtime to read this book and I have zero regrets, but I'm also running on fumes, so this may be a bit all over the place... But let's just get the obvious out of the way first:

This book is so damn good.

The angst was brutal, yet also fantastic in that agonizing way that satisfied my inner masochist (I loved and hated every second of that drama - it was honestly the perfect amount).

The action and carnage in these books only continues to escalate and I am LIVING for how bloodthirsty and hedonistic everyone is in this series - and in this particular installment, it was especially breathtaking in all the right ways (for me, anyway. If you're squeamish about blood/gore, this probably isn't the series for you).

The spice in this offering was next level. First off: hellooooo knotting, I forgot how much fun you are! lol And good lord, dirty talking alphas with secret cinnamon roll centers + praise kink for days = my kryptonite, and Aleks in particular delivered on that front in spades.

When it came to the emotional elements and character arcs of our mains - without spoiling anything, let's just say Greer and Aleks had some shit they had to work through, for sure - but their chemistry, not to mention all those delicious extra layers we got to their characters? Chefs kisses all around.

Also - can I just say that I love how Makhi, Fin, Toric, and now Aleks have turned into a kind of unlikely brotherhood. The interactions between these men get me every time and I honestly can't wait to see their relationships develop in the remaining two books.

In short: I adore these characters. I love them so much and am so invested in their success and happiness, that I'm starting to get a bit concerned for myself, lol. But I really do love these books. This series is criminally underrated.

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest (spoiler free) review
Once again, Amara Rae wrote a book that broke the mold for fantasy romance.
In reading this series I’ve come to expect one thing from Rae: the unexpected. When you expect the miscommunication trope, Rae busts out honest open communication, which is so refreshing these days.
When you expect the pregnancy trope as a patch for relationship problems: Rae delivers more communication and an effort to change from her characters.
I am honestly so excited for the rest of the series, as the overarching plot is so intricate and fascinating. But enough about that, let’s get to what we really want, the romance: I honestly was a little worried, I wasn’t feeling the chemistry in Inferno, and I was worried that would continue in Zephyr. But the sexual tension and chemistry between Aleks and Greer was off. The. Charts. Aleks was the typical self sacrificing Hero, until Greer whipped his ass into shape and introduced him to the importance of open communication.
One of my biggest pet peeves in books is when the MMC messes up and the heroine forgives him with little to no apologizing. I can honestly say that while there wasn’t any Alex Volkov leveling groveling in this book, it felt like Aleks really understood where he messed up, and made the effort to avoid doing it again. (I don’t consider this a spoiler as Aleks’ F up was already seen in Inferno).
Rae was able to find the very delicate balance between equality and submission in this relationship. Greer was willing to submit to Aleks, but ONLY when he had thoroughly earned it, and even then he didn’t accept her submission except in the bedroom 😉. He wanted someone to challenge him, and he found his match in Greer, just as she found hers in Aleks. Saying this leads me to how Fing HOT this book was 🥵🥵 Miss Rae has never disappointed on the smut scales, and Zephyr was no exception!
While I believe the experience is improved by reading all the books, this can be read as a standalone. One of my favorite part of the books what’s seeing my fav couples from previous books (especially my babies Fin and Makhi, so I definitely recommend reading all the books, since they are fantastic) I read this book in one sitting, only taking breaks to sleep and eat, I can’t recommend this series enough, READ IT NOW!!!!

I was so looking forward to Greer's story and I'm a little bit let down. I felt the story was all over the place. On one end there's the entire rejected mate, demon shadow part of the story, that I felt was really compelling, but that the resolution of the angst and drama didn't feel satisfying at all. Mainly because the main characters lacked the ability to communicate. Also, I wished the implications of having that demon shadow inside were a little bit more explored. On the other end there is the ever evolving war between different sections of the immortal world, which again, is super interesting, but overwhelmed the budding relationship of the two main characters.

I'm still super into this world and I can't wait for Cass's book.

I will NEVER stop raving about this series. I will forever and always encourage everyone to read it. Going into this I knew I would have some feeling and FEELINGS I did. Aleksander is Greer’s fated mate the only problem is… he’s already mated to someone else.

Greer like the rest of her coven is badass I loved her from the beginning. Aleksander.. well I loved him too but we definitely had some things to work through first. Aleksander and Greer together? Perfection.

Unsurprisingly, I absolutely adored this book. I swear every book in this series gets better and better and I absolutely can not wait until the next book comes out. Amara Rae has quickly become one of my favourite authors and I’m looking forward to reading Cassandra’s book next!

The ending of Inferno shook me to the core, although it was said that there is no cheating (a few things make me sad as hell and cheating is one of them) but still my heart was sad and eager to read about Greer. The best thing that happened is that I read that book when Zephyr got released so I had this one in hand to dive right in and can’t be happier to explore it.

I’m in awe of how this story took place, all the anguish I felt before never came while reading this book. I was quite vary of Aleksandr but the more I read, the more I felt for him and his reasoning. He’s an alpha but is really a softie for Greer, which is really very cute. With every book in the series, the intense level increases one point more and spiciness doubled itself. We get to see a way whirl of action and emotions as the story progressed. The radiometer of self-exploration is very high for both the characters and their self-assessing journey will definitely teach you some things.

So many hiccups in the journey but the coven sisters fight their way together and that’s the essence of it. I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between Greer and Aleksandr and also between the sisters. The love and devotion shown are like icing on the cake, making it yummy to have. A must must read for all paranormal romance lovers. Witches are rocking it and setting a new bar for other witchy reads for sure.

I am very much eager to have the next book and want to know what my petite girl Cassandra is going to do when she has to face her demons in front of an actual demon. It’s going to be more of an action and fun-packed story, I can feel it.

I was so so excited going into this book after binging the previous three books. I think I would have enjoyed it more had I given it a break and not loved book 3 so much. It’s just hard to beat that book and I think that’s why I’m giving this four stars.

Plot:
Greer has been rejected by her Goddess selected mate, Aleks. After coming to her during her heat and seeing her through the worst of it, he tells her that he is already mated.

Aleks is in love with Greer but can’t admit it to her without risking her life. He pushes her away and rejects her with the intention of keeping her safe but can’t stay away.

When the two are forced to work together for the good of their coven and pack, Aleks’ secrets are unravelled. Can Greer forgive him?

My thoughts:

I really really hated how much pain Greer was in because of Aleks. He was an idiot and led to his own and her suffering. I forgave him when his reasons were revealed but I really really wish we had some grovel. He didn’t grovel at all and it’s killing me 🤣 again, I can understand why, but I love a good grovel.

Tropes:
🔥 fated mates
🔥 rejected mate
🔥 degrading smut
🔥 dirty talking
🔥 age gap

I am soooooo sooooo soooo looking forward to Cass’ book next. 🥵

I definitely liked the first three books more than I liked this one.
This whole miscommunication thing was dragged out for sooo long omg and I also didn’t love the mmc :(
I really liked greer tho!
The plot was okay but I feel like there was so much tension built throughout the story but the end just didn’t really deliver the epic fight I was hoping for.
I did love the pacing and read it in only two sittings like I ate this upppp.
I just love her writing and this found family things going on with all the other males from the previous books in this series!!

TW/ Tropes: sexual nature (including on the battlefield and involving biting, carving, praise and light degradation, and a hero who enjoys giving oral after he’s “deposited” in his mate), explicit language, and violence, fated mates (rejected mate), knotting, a dirty-talking and alpha shifter hero, and a badass heroine who brings him to his knees

Greer is a strategist. She prefers to be in control. She appears to be very nonchalant and bored. She actually worries constantly about enemies trying to attack her coven and how to protect everyone, while trying to distract herself from her mate, who rejected her.

Aleksandr is alpha. He protects his pack. He works to honor his father’s legacy. He is a fair leader. He battles himself constantly for control over his beast. He is absolutely smitten with Greer but is separated from her for a reason.

They both prefer calm. They prefer control. Together they allow themselves to be free and wild without judgement or fear. They are so similar and perfect for each other.

I love how Greer comes off as nonchalant but is actually coming up with plans and strategizing in her head🫶🏼 Then Aleksandr was an idiot in the beginning in a typical man way🧍🏽‍♀️ but he came to his senses!! And loves and treated Greer like a queen 🥰 He is so in love with her🫶🏼

The angst was 👍🏼. Loveeeee angst. The growth and acceptance and maturity from Greer and Aleksandr was perfect! I loved how Greer opened up and acknowledge how she could grow and accept Aleksandr and let go of her pain. Then how Aleksandr accepting all of himself to be with Greer. The maturity and vulnerability they both expressed and helping each other be the others safe place was so spectacular to see! Like so cute 🥰 Can’t forget the 🌶️ on the battlefield which, took me very much by surprise even with advance warning of it happening 😭 but I loved it still! I also enjoyed how Aleksandr could go from cute and loving to dominate and provocative🤭 The parts that showed the other couples was great too and always funny with Willow and Eva saying absolutely WILD things 😭 to Makhi stressing about how to protect/ manage “his females” which was adorable cause it really showed how much he cares about them and gave off a sister and brother vibe 🫶🏼 The deaths after the battle were sad though 😔

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest (spoiler free) review!

Overall I give this book a solid 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 's and the spice is amazing at a 4.5 🌶🌶🌶🌶's !

While this wasn’t my favorite book from the series I really did enjoy it. If you decide to read this book I highly recommend you read them in order. If you decide not to that is totally fine the author does do a great job summarizing the events that have occurred already.

Moving on, this book follows Aleks and Greer, Alpha Shifter and Air-witch shifter hybrid. I have honestly LOVED the series from the first one and absolutely enjoyed this one. I loved the tension and their push and pull. Aleks was our beloved stereotypical male lead who would do anything for his mate and Greer knowing her worth and not wanting to settle for less. Nevertheless the spice was AH-mazing (it makes you feel some-type of way, yk) and I highly recommend the reader to check the trigger warnings. We also got to see Greer in her role as the Coven's Strategist and the adventures they both embarked on.

Okay now let's talk about what I found a bit off with this book since I have read all the previous books by Amara. I personally think that the “problem” that stopped the male lead from pursuing the female lead is quite small. I mean it could have had more depth and complexity to it, like it was resolved in a couple of minutes so 🤷🏻‍♀️ take that as you will. Secondly this book didn't add much to the overall plot of the series and I was looking forward to an epic plot-twist or something.

With all that being said I feel like the two things I mentioned aren't of utmost importance (since I give the book 4 stars) because not every couple will have a huge problem they need to figure out or overcome to further the plot of the series. I personally like that this was another couple finding their happy ever after and the summary of where the other couples are at the same time, plus it might just be me who felt this.

I CANNOT wait for Cass’s book, it also being released during my birthday month so yay me!!

Another fucking banger of a book!!!!

5 phenomenal fucking stars once again!
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

There are so many things to love about this book!

As a woman of the global majority; a non white person, and someone who identifies as a black woman with African ancestry, the way that Greer is described makes my heart so fucking happy! Not a “food” or “drink” description word to be seen in this entire book and yet somehow we still get the point! This proved that you don’t need to use “chocolate” “mocha” “cafe au lait” or however you spell it to describe someone who is brown or varying shades of brown. I am HERE FOR IT!!! Well done!

You talk about starting with a bang? Fucking literally?! I LOVED IT!!! Give me alllllll the sexy times! Aleks is nasty af and I could NOT get enough! He’s a hero who eats and not just eats, he savors, devours, and comes back for more! He loves Greer and will go to any lengths to protect her. When he loves and protects he does so fiercely and wholeheartedly. Gotta love a hero who does that!

Greer is a badass motherfucker! I have loved her for a few books now and I fell even more in love with her in this book. She’s not afraid of anything and refuses to let anyone intimidate her INCLUDING HER MATE AND ALPHA AND A MOTHERFUCKING DEMON! A DEMON!!! A demon who I am now obsessed with but we will get to that later. Greer really spoke to me on a personal level and I loved her character development and growth.

Aleks and Greer are HOT AF together, better together, smarter together, and you DO NOT want to face them on a battlefield or stay around for what happens after. 😏

I can’t wait for the next book!!!

Thank you so much for the ARC. This is my honest review 😊

~ It's adult cuz it's dark! There's spice, there's violence, there's violence with spice, blood with spice, knotting, rejected mate... did I miss anything? Yes, trigger warnings.

~ Oh boy... we definitely have an dirty mouth alpha! Is that a corpse?? Did Amara just made that steamy? Yes, she did!

~ Aleksandr, the alpha shifter, rejects the delicious violent half-air-witch half-shifter Greer... how do you think this is going down? I think you know... and at the same time, you don't! The twits surprised me!

~ This was the most angsty book of the series. We suffer hand in hand with Greer and Aleksandr in this dual POV. Greer is in the dark and in agony, trying to build an alliance for her coven with the nearest shifter pack. Aleksandr is dealing with the fear of involving Greer in his problems (plural).
Greer always believed her mate would be strong and stay her, not like her parents that lived apart. But Aleksandr destroys her believes and sends her in a roller coaster of pain and shame. This, until Aleksandr's secrets start to come out one by one.

~ Urban dark and steamy fantasy romance with Witches, Warlocks, Shifters, Vampires, Beserkers, Fae, Demons (OMG the demon!!!!!!! Cass you did what? You go girl!! I'm with you!), Angels, Sirens... on a world where hybrid-witchs are immortals to be eradicated! Because they are the strongest

~ I love Amara's writing so much. In this book we see her dealing with the emotions of rejection and shame. As well as devotion and sacrifice. You can't help but loving equally Greer and Aleksandr.

~ I need book 5 at this instance!!!!! Pleaseee

The Immortal Coven continues collecting alleys (for the impeding battle against the elders) and fated mates. This time we follow the journey of our hybrid shifter-wind witch Greer as she tries to handle her diplomatic duties and her mating bond calling with the Alpha of their biggest alleys... the shifters. Alpha Aleks is her fated mate... the very same one who rejected her. Why? Thats for you to read and find out! 😈
.
I absolutely love this world Amara Rae has developed. I not only enjoy each of our hybrid witch finding their fated mate, but also seeing the journey of their growth and acceptance of their hybrid nature. They have become resilient by accepting all parts of themselves.
.
Aleks was really something... yes something very sexy but also stubborn and infuriating and belive me I was ready to murder him! But he groveled, suffered and made up for it. Sweet Greer didn't deserve all her heartache but she found herself in the process.🤍 So much angst in this one!!
.
It melts my heart when I see the couples of the prior books, specially Makhi who feels that he not only needs to protect his mated female but the entire coven.
.
Next book is our earth witch Cass and her little demon arrangement. She has been through so much that I can't wait for her to overcome all things and become a true force of nature!! I am so excited for this one!!!!😁
.
Thank you Amara Rae for this e-ARC in exchange of an honest review. 🤗
.
This is an adult dark spicey paranormal romance. Check trigger warnings.

Interesting

Out of all the books, this was the one I was looking the most forward to and, surprisingly... the least I liked😐 I wasn't expecting how this book turned out. It does has an amazing story line, plot, smut (the scene after the last battle if epic, my favorite), but I was expecting a more detailed story focused on their relationship, like with Will and Toric story. However, with Aleks previous interactions in the other books, there wasn't enough of a build-up of their relationship, to my liking. I was expecting a little bit more details on their interactions from the beginning and such. In this book, there was more focus on outside elements of the story than the MC's relationship, for example all the explanations from previous stories, the MC's issues with their past and how they interpreted everything in their life, etc. Also, I didn't like all the insightful moments they had. It was like, I forgot what one character said in between the other character's internal monolog. Other than that, I am so happy for Nai and Fin, and seeing Makhi with baby fever is hilarious, plus his possessiveness for "his" witches😂. Now, I am really excited about Cass story, let's see how our little doe fares with a dominant cunning demon. I definitely recommend this series if you're into fantasy romance.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This series is by far my most favourite in 2022.

Greer and Aleksandr's story deals with the rejected mates trope. The angst in the rejected mates trope is one of my favourites to read, however I do acknowledge that it is a delicate dance to balance the rejection (and the reason for the rejection),grovel and reconciliation thereby making this trope a bit of a challenge; this book managed to carry out this trope rather well.

The thing I love best about this series are the heroes, every single of the them is just written to perfection. While Aleks did not manage to dethrone the previous 3 heroes, I must say I loved his darker side, which he learns to embrace later on in the book and perhaps if he had embraced this side earlier, he would have been a serious challenge to the previous heroes.

Greer was a kick ass witch and I loved the way she was written, her personality and her desires fit her character very well. I enjoyed the way her witch and sifter side aspects were written.

And boi, this sure is a steamy read, the final battlefield scene just about set my room on fire.

Overall I enjoyed reading this book and I am very eagerly awaiting Cass's story next.

Amara Rae does it again! I couldn't put this book down and read it in one sitting.

I loved Greer and Aleks' story, especially the growth that happens with them. Greer is portrayed as such a strong and confident witch in the other books, but Zephyr shows that even Greer is fighting insecurities. Aleks is harboring a dark secret that forces him to push Greer away, allowing her to think he has chosen another mate over her. He's an alpha who doesn't ask for help, but lord, does he need it! Aleks' groveling and obsession with Greer is everything. The steam and dirty talk is top notch!

Zephyr does a fantastic job of highlighting Greer's relationships with her coven witches, particularly Willow and Naiya. They aren't afraid to call her out.

"Stop running from the truth because you're afraid. You have every right to be hurt and pissed. Just... don't lose who you are in the process."

And my favorite broody warlock returns with some amazing lines. I love Makhi so much. It was great to see the relationship the fated mates have with each other.

"Evangeline, if we are to avoid violence, you must tell Finrador that I am of your coven, and it stands to reason that, as such, you are my females."

"You're a moron."

The writing of this book threw me off a LOT! I felt like we were being told everything rather than shown. For example, we were told that Aleks suddenly let go off all his harboured reluctance to mate rather than shown. We the reader, was constantly told that greer was a level headed and rational thinker , rather than showing us she's a rational and level headed thinker. We should see this through her decisions and interactions with others, rather than Greer telling us this trait about herself. This really ground my gears and put me off this book.

The action in this book was terriblr too. The fight sequence and the actions of the characters sounded so Jerky and unnatural. The actions of the characters weren't smoothly integrated with dialogue either. One minute a character would be standing, then leaning on a wall, then talking, then growling. The physical movements sounded so Jerky and unnatural, even robotic at times.

The Smut parts were quite good but the storyline was quite weak.

I'm a suckered for wolves and their mates - my fave trope- so for that I give it 2.5 stars. But anymore than that is a push.

This is the second shifter book I've read and while I love PNR, shifter books are not at the top of my list of favorites. However, Zephyr was a different type of shifter book because the female MC isn't full shifter.

Greer isn't ashamed of who she is. She was raised to embrace both sides of her. But when she gets rejected by her mate, she begins thinking that maybe she's not good enough because she's not full shifter. However that's the furthest from the truth.

Aleks Always knew Greer was his mate from the moment he laid eyes on her. But he can't be with her. Something dark is lurking under his skin and it's not just his beast. He also made a promise long before meeting Greer to mate another, believing it's what's best for his pack. He was wrong.

The only reason I'm giving this book 4.5 stars is because the first few chapters were long winded. They were more information than actual storyline.

Overall, the storyline stays true to the first three books, flowing nicely into this book and the ending is a beautiful segue into the fifth book.

I am completely obsessed with this series. I’ve said it before, but it keeps getting better and better. I found myself immediately drawn into the world Amara has created once again.
The world building and details are fantastic.
The characters Amara writes are perfect and Greer and Aleks are no exception. Every time I think I can’t love a couple more than the previous one, Amara proves me wrong.
Greer is bad @ss and stronger than she realises, just like her coven sisters and I’m pleased we got to learn more about her in this book. I thought her hybrid sides were well written and fit her personality perfectly. I also enjoyed seeing more of the friendship between Greer and Willow and the Coven members interactions.
The emotion and struggles that both main characters go through had me hooked and I couldn’t put this book down.
The steamy scenes were incredible once again too and I love the chemistry between Aleks and Greer.
Definitely recommend and I already can’t wait for the next book.

Greer and Aleks SERVED the mutual pining, angst I needed it hurt SO GOOD. I loved how inevitable they were I felt it even more than any of the previous couples because of the stupid ass way Aleks went about trying to protect her… the way his pack constantly tried to push them together and were the captains of their ship was iconic. I love Greer so much I really admired her quiet calm and the way she valued information and knowledge as a means of gaining power and control over her gifts. Now ALEKS ❤️‍🔥 oh my GOD I love him and I love that he’s always been there because he was helpless not to be in Greer’s orbit. He was so sexy and I was LIVING for the praise/light degradation he was serving it had me borderline feral 🥵 and SPOILER ALERT his “darkness” is everything we could’ve wanted I can’t wait to see how it manifests (if at all) throughout the rest of the series
I loved all the revelations this story had and the way it moved the plot forward… more than any book so far it gave me hope that everything would work out for my coven baddies.

4,5⭐️ At first, I wasn’t sure that I would love this book as much as the other but I was wrong. It was so great !!! And it surprised me a lot. I liked how the conflict around Aleksandr's mating is handled and especially how much Greer makes sure that he understands well the consequences of his actions towards her. These witches are all so strong in their own way, and it’s truly interesting to see them evolve and have a better understanding of themselves, their capacities and their beliefs.

The story is intense from start to finish, the plot is so well constructed throughout the series, I cannot wait to see the outcome. Greer looks so calm and collected, she’s kind of the coven strategist and she adapts in all situations. Meanwhile, Aleksandr is devoted to his pack, to his role, he wants to preserve his father’s legacy and by doing so he will endanger his relationship with his fated mate.

Now, I’m more and more excited about Cass’s book !! I just cannot wait to read it, she seems so fragile but I’m sure she will find her strength 😍

Once again Amara Rae kills it. Book 4 in the immortal coven series, at this point we’re all familiar with the world. The vicious, and amazingly blood thirsty world that Amara has cooked up.

Fans of Suzanne Wrights shifter series will particularly enjoy this story because we have a growly alpha shifter, and a fiery witch who isn’t taking his shit.

There’s grovelling, and pack dynamics at work, and I loved it!!

In this story we finally get Greer and Aleks tension explained. As they figure their way out through misunderstandings, manipulations I loved their tension!!

Overall I enjoyed it, but it was especially good because of the “guest starring” of my all time favourite Toric and Makhi… they had me laughing so hard at some points.

I’m excited for the next one, it feels like Amara is setting us up for an exciting story in the next couple of books!!

Thank you to the author for giving me an arc of Zephyr. Zephyr is book four in the Immortal Coven series by Amara Rae. It follows Greer a shifter witch hybrid and her mate Aleksandr. Greer is an air witch and Aleksandr is the leader of a wolf pack. After their first steamy encounter, Greer asks Aleksandr to bite her but he refuses saying he already has a mate. Greer is left heartbroken but because of the events that happen in book one of the series he has no choice but to reject her. That's why I suggest reading the books in order because it has an overarching plot line. Aleksandr can't ignore the need to bond with his mate any longer. He tells Greer the truth about his situation and that he needs her help. I give this book five stars.

Preordered the rest of the series- read this now!!

Dirty talk 🔥
Head necklace 🔥
Badass FMC 🔥

The relationships between every different character is outstanding. The coven’s males being friends and understanding each other. The coven of ‘sister’ witches guiding each other through everything. I love that each relationship is so different and carries on throughout the series.

I think this book did such a great job of highlighting the ways we hold ourselves back in relationships. A couple of my favorite quotes:

“because holding on to the hurt was like… a protective barrier, just in case more pain was thrown my way.”

“And who cares about legacy when you’re f—ing up the present and future because you can’t let the past go?”

“‘You’re so sexy when you’re vengeful,’ Greer whispered.”

Honestly this series keeps getting better and the plot keeps thickening.
I loved Greer and Aleks! They were meant for each other and fool Aleks couldn’t keep himself away from her even if he wanted too.
It hurt the rejection in the beginning but it helped knowing that things weren’t what they seemed and that he had a reason for it which made the story even more compelling which left me with not much sleep time but I regret nothing.
So far this might be my favorite but Cassandra and Eva are coming next and I have a feeling Eva’s book is gonna be the one for me.
Finally the twins were born! 🎆 I loved seeing Fin and Makhi being so protective of the twins, it was very heartwarming. Now I can’t wait for Greer’s pups too 😌.
Can’t wait for Terrene and to see Cass flourish in the care of a demon 😊
