My agent sets me up for a book signing in the small town of Emerald Lake. I accept as any publicity is good publicity, even if it is in a small town I have never heard of.
But my experince there goes from great to awful when the hot older guy steps in.
He's the one that stole my readers and ruined the show. It's all down to the multi bestselling author who leaves me on stage looking foolish!
Uh, I'm so angry at him… but also so intrigued.
Henry
I'm passing through Emerald Lake on my way to a convention in the next town over when I am informed it has been cancelled. I find the small motel in Emerald Lake and decide to spend the night.
That's when I spot her - Cara Miller, romance author and the most beautiful, curvy woman of my dreams.
I don't care that I'm almost twice her age, I want her in my bed.
I seek her forgiveness, but it was never part of my plan to fall for her...
There are no cliffhangers and no cheating in this story, just a quick instalove, happy for now story to cheer you up at the end of the day :)

Interrupted is part of the authors Emerald Lake series but can be read standalone.
Romance author Cara is in the town for a book signing when she spots a silver haired stranger, at her signing. She doesn't realise at first that he is an author himself and when her readers are swept away by him Henry has to make it up to her.
This is a short novel but it has plenty of story and it's an enjoyable read.
If you like steamy romance, curvy girls, older men and instalove in your romance novels then I think you'll really enjoy this one.
It is a shorter read but is a fun one too. Contains sexual content and swearing.

I enjoyed the idea of this short but was left wanting a bit more. The steamy bits were okay but stuff we’ve read before. Overall, it was okay.
