An all-expenses paid dream honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean… with your worst enemy.
STORM When I told a little white lie at work, I never anticipated this. Not only am I pretending to be married, but I’m pretending to be married to the worst person I know. And just when I think it can’t get any worse, we get stuck on a fake honeymoon together. How did this even happen? I’ve hated quarterback Tanner Jonas since he humiliated me ten years ago in high school, and I’m going to keep hating him until this cruise ship returns to home soil. But the more time I spend with him, the more I remember why I fell for him the first time…
TANNER I never expected to hear from Storm Fernberg again. So when she shows up on my doorstep, begging me to go on a honeymoon cruise to keep up her workplace façade, I’m intrigued… This is my chance to win her over again, this is my chance to right the wrongs of our senior year. But if I tell her the truth, will it fix everything… or only make matters worse?
***************** Honeymooning With the Enemy is a spicy, enemies to lovers, second chance rom com with guaranteed LOL moments! You will enjoy every page with this sunshine hero and grumpy heroine, with the sweetest HEA.
Tabitha Bree is an author, crafter, and sometimes yoga instructor based in Melbourne, Australia. A long-time fan of chick lit and romantic comedies, she is happiest (and most neurotic) when creating worlds for her fictional lovers to frolic in.
Rules of a Breakup is Tabitha’s fourth (and longest!) book in her catalogue, and a standalone. Check out the Seeking Series if you’re interested in a rom-com trilogy.

This was such a fun sappy rom com! I am a sucker for anything cruise related and I think this one would be great to read during summer! The reason I gave it three stars is because I think it could have been about 100 pages shorter and still tell the same story so it started to feel a bit repetitive at the end. Overall though I had a fun time reading it! :)
Tanner and Storm were somewhat teenage sweethearts, without them ever having confessed their feelings due to an event that severed their friendship. Years on, when Storm gets sick of her misogynistic boss, they reconnect by coincidence.
I must admit that I was engaged with the story until the 75% mark when most romance books gets drama. In this case, the honeymoon is soon over and real life is about to begin anew. I just had this bad feeling that I could predict what was going to happen and I wasn’t going to like it. This sort of led me to disengage with the story and lose interest, so I mostly skimmed through the rest to confirm my theories - which were correct.
If you haven’t read that many enemies-to-lovers fake-romance books, this is probably a fantastic read that I can wholeheartedly recommend! But if you’re like me, and have read every one that you’ve come across, there’s unfortunately just not much about this story that I find very unique.
Thank you to the author for giving me an arc in exchange for an honest review!
Rom com lovers LISTEN UP!!! This is your book!! It was good, very good, AMAZINGLY good! I💜LOVED💜IT!!!
I have read a few books by Tabitha Bree but this one was by far my favourite.
I loved Tanner and Storm, their connection was special and the way he gained her trust back touched a corner of my heart. Spending time with them on a cruise felt awesome, (Although actually being on one of those ships a few years ago with so many people surrounding me was one of the worst thing for me 🙈, sitting in my „safe corner“ at home, joining them on the vacation was perfect to take my mind off though. I was rooting for them all along and now I have been to the Caribbean, too. How convenient 😉.
The author did a brilliant job speaking about what a big influence high school experiences can have - good and bad ones. Kids can be so damn cruel and where some of them grow out of it and leave the mean stuff behind, others never will. But there are always upsides as well which we shouldn’t forget. There are no flowers without rain, right?!
If this book was predictable? In a way it was, I mean it’s still a rom com nonetheless in others it was so surprising I started making bets with myself if my assumptions were right. And yessss… they were and I was SHOCKED! The twist was good! It turned out: this time, I liked and disliked the right ones.
You are getting tired of me swooning?! I can’t blame you, just one last thing - ahain. If you feel like a cool rom com: read this book!!!
Now normally I don’t like to give out 5 stars but GOD DAMN I fell INLOVE ❤️ Firstly, when I first saw the cover, I’m already impressed & then I’ve read the blurb and now I’m intrigued and had to read it. We’re getting enemies to lovers, faking dating trope and hilarious secondary characters! I found myself actually laughing out loud multiple times throughout this book. And a potential sneaky crossover that had me screaming! Tabitha Bree did a great job, great punctuation throughout the book and each chapter kept me wanting to read more!
I've only read two books from Tabitha Bree (so far) and I've love them and her. First of all I love the two main characters Storm and Tanner. The boat scene where Tanner helps Storm is so cute and sweet. And Tanned has such a way with words, he has my heart. Was not a fan of the storms best friend in the book. I don't know if you'd classify it as this but I think it's a second chance romance.Love how independent storm is as well. The book is spicy I would say but I didn't mind.

This book engaged me from the start. It did take me longer than expected to finish (because life got in the way). But I thoroughly enjoyed it. I related a lot with Storm, the female MC. And the description of Tanner, the male MC, made me want to reach out and touch him ;-) lol It was a great love story, a little bit of humor, and a few jerks trickled in for conflict. Overall, I have no complaints and would recommend it.
I really enjoyed this book. At first I thought it was just another Sex In The City type but it turned into so much more. There was humor, romance, passion, and deeper meaning. Loved the sweetness and straight forwardness of tanner. He wasn't a doormat or an alpha hole.
