This Is A Sweet Story
⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 Stars
This is a sweet story of a man and woman meeting by accident and feeling an unusual connection….A few weeks later, the couple begin the journey of exploring the connection…the couple hit a few bumps along the way…but all in all this is really a cute story….I think there was some unnecessary dialogue and scenes that really didn’t add to the story for me….in fact, it drug out the inevitable. This is my first title from this author and I enjoyed it.

Such an amazing story 🤩
I so loved Caleb and Kacies story, it’s was everything and more. They connected so well and both were deserving of unconditional love, support and reassurance 😍😍😍. Kacie helped Caleb become what he was meant to be and he helped her to have someone strong to lean on everyone woman deserves such. Caleb’s ex was simple, she should have just let it go and moved on but karma got that behind for sure. I loved Caleb’s mom she was everything…I wonder if he brother will get a book 🤔🤔🤔!

Kacie x Caleb
This story started a bit fast which kind of worried me at first, but as it progressed, it moved nicer. Both Caleb and Kacie had some issues they were dealing with. Caleb has daddy issues and some self esteem issues. Kacie is struggling in her career while trying to keep a level head. The moment Kacie and Caleb met, it was immediate attraction. But what started as bumps on the road became giant mountains on the road for them. Things got crazy. Overall, this was an ok read for me. These characters didn't live long lasting impressions. But credit where credit is due: The author did write the hell out of the love scenes 👏🏾👏🏾. They weren't filthy, but Kacie and Caleb were freaks.

Him and Kacie were 🔥🔥🔥 from the time Caleb approached her car to the end their bond was tight.
I enjoyed their journey and am grateful the author brought us along to witness it. A great read!!

Loved it
This was such a sweet beautiful read. Caleb is like no other male character I've read in awhile. He wants unconditional love and a accident of all places is were he finds it. Kacie was just the right person to heal the parts of Caleb that long ago hurt from father issues and from failed relationships. The scene where they were sitting back to back were my favorite scenes it allowed the couple to connect on such a deep level. Nice read.

Talk about pull at your heart strings....Just the way these two met and were drawn together within the first 24 hours... Caleb knew that he was going through the motions of life, Kacie knew she was not getting the life she deserved. Kismet. Wonderful storyline and dreamy characters.

"Fate, Faith, and Futures"
This book felt so much like home to me, I’m going to tell it like it is, just how it is. Fair warning, I’m about to get my clown on in the good-good part of this review. (It’s like that!)
Accidentally in Love with You is my first book by Kaye Lovett. And the woman did the damn thing! The people and the narrative were so relatable. I’m talking the love of “thick” people, references of bomb a** pu**y, doing people dirty, trifling chicks, Brian McKnight and Deborah Cox, cocoa butter, and silk pillowcases; all spot-on descriptions of “blackness” of this generation that sang to my soul.
It was clear from the jump that I would fall in love with the main characters. Kacie Benjamin is an up-and-coming set designer and photographer. Homegirl is ambitious and I love that about her. She knows what she wants, and she works her butt off to get it. Above all, she won’t let anyone stand in the way of her evolution. Not a man, not even family. That part resonated so much with me; Her pride made me proud. She is also very in touch with her feelings. An accident prompts a chance meeting with Caleb Jackson, a wealthy business owner. He is a gentle giant starving for love and affection and he tends to let folks take advantage of him. He is so sweet and so giving. The way he spoils Kacie is a dream. Make me no mistake, he is no chump. He is all Big Papa. Everybody needs them a Caleb Jackson!
Almost instantly, Kacie and Caleb get hit with the love jones. Experiencing the growth of their relationship was an eye-opening, heart-tugging, panty-melting pleasurable journey. When these two finally got their freak on? Good Lord! There was a brilliant juxtaposition between their personalities and their sex lives. It was so sweet… yet so NASTY. Like Ms. Jackson nasty. I’m talking wildin’ out, turnin’ out, hair-grabbing, head-smashin’, slurping and sloppy… Grab a pair and a spare, my friends. No joke. That gushy stuff was the real deal explosive! BRAVA, Ms. Lovett! BRA-FREAKIN’-VA!
I also thoroughly enjoyed the love language between Kacie and Caleb. The way they communicated was unique, inspiring, and harmonious. The development of their characters was so organic and original. This couple is entirely their best when they are together. Faith plays a big part in both of their lives. It humbles the narrative at times, and I found it endearing. The internal and external conflicts were well developed; the external took the climax for a surprising turn. My only issue with Accidentally in Love with You is the constant POV changes mid-chapters. It’s not my jam; I much prefer scene breaks. In this book, it was a distraction and it made it difficult to stay engaged in the action on the page. If not for that one detail, my rating would have been higher.
Another noteworthy mention: It is quote gold. Here are just some of what jumped out at me:
“With a big heart came greater disappointments.”
“…he was simply a man who loved love.”
“She was exquisite. Letting him know God took His time with her.”
“She helped me see things I didn’t see in myself, but I’m better because of me. However, I can’t deny Kacie makes me want to be better for her, too. She deserves healed me, the best me.”
“I don’t want to be the strong black woman anymore. I want to be vulnerable, supported, and loved on. I want to be someone’s number one priority.”
Accidentally in Love with You is a must-read and a re-read! I felt this book so much, I plan to buy a PB for my collection. I look forward to more of Ms. Lovett’s black magic.

Since it's Christmas time and I'm off, I have been reading the books most jampacked with good strong men and the women who love them. This time of year makes me introspective but also yearn for love so bad. Until my hero comes along, I'll be loving and supporting my girls get theirs!! Kacie and Caleb needed eachother and I loved that Kacie was so spiritual. She spoke on how love comes in the craziest ways and you need to be open to it.

Real Love
I truly enjoyed this story. Caleb was just a honest loveable guy. His heart was on his sleeve and he made sure to show those around him love. This couple were perfect for each other and I’m so happy the families came together and built upon their relationships.

By Accident
How sweet it is to be loved by you. Those were my thoughts when reading about Caleb and Kacie. These two fit together like bread and butter and I really enjoyed their journey.
Caleb was a man with low self esteem due to his younger years. Growing up as the fat kid who was teased and bullied everyday, did a number on him. Once his big brother Cannon showed him how to get fit, working out became a drug of sorts, an outlet for Caleb to become someone that would be liked, yet what he really wanted was to be loved. Given that he was more emotional than his brother, his dad pulled away from Caleb simply bc he didn't know how to show his emotions the way Caleb needed. He loved his son, yet just didn't know how to without it making Caleb feel unliked and Ioved by him. His mother gave him the emotions his father lacked, but he really just wanted it from his dad too. I'm glad that they were able to have a long overdue talk and I hope they bond like Caleb needs.
Being that Caleb needed love, he used his money and good looks to get the kind of shallow women that used him. He wanted their affection and as long as he was spending money on them, he'd get it, yet he knew it was superficial. Oh, but then there was Kacie. I like when couples meet in the craziest of situations and there's was truly one for the books. Caleb could've left and went on about his life, yet he felt compelled to help and it changed his and Kacie's life forever. I love that they needed each other and that Kacie let Caleb be his vulnerable self with her. These two were loving and yet, they were spicy and nasty too...I loved it😏. There relationship was like a fairytale, yet real all in one.
Kacie was a sweetheart. I get that she was trying to get her decorating/photography business to new heights, yet I feel she dragged the situation with the artist Dom on a little too long. I get being upset and disappointed, yet she was dynamic at what she did, so I was a little lost as to why she let it get her so down. I'm glad she and Caleb became a thing bc he encouraged her, letting her know she'd get through it and would go on to do more amazing things. Her best friend Gia and business friend Marco knew just how great Kacie was too and also encouraged her. She had some great people in her corner and I was glad about it. Now, even though they seemed like a lovely couple, I was a bit put off by her parents lack of support for her career choice. Even with that, she had a good example of love and they did love her, so I'm glad it wasn't a horrible situation, just not a pleasant one.
The whole situation with Caleb's ex, Allanah was bizarre. She not only cheated on Caleb with her ex, she apparently got engaged to him too and yet she comes up with this grand scheme to "scare" Kacie so Caleb would come back to her 🤨. Yeah, she was all kinds of looney, yet I hope she gets her mind right in prison😏.
There was a lot to unpack, yet this was a really great read. I loved it. Highly recommend.

EXCELLENT !!!!!
This was my first book by this author and I think I may be a fan! There are little details that make a book AWESOME to me…character development, relatability, and pace. This book moved at an awesome pace and it didn’t feel like the author was just trying to have a long book and filled it with unnecessary details. There was enough time for me to become invested in the characters and think about them long after the ending! Caleb and Kacie were bomb! His fierce protectiveness of her from hello was super sexy. Her being so in tune with him was simply precious. While there were some pieces of the sTory I think I missed because those ends never quite tied up for me, I still THOROUGHLY enjoyed this book. I hope I can find more from this author!

Ms. Lovett did her thang!
Here’s a little known secret; even though I’m an avid reader of Urban romances, I usually don’t care much for the heroines of the books. They’re usually too needy, too stubborn, too ghetto, too depressing or just all around weak. However, Kacie, the heroine of this book is my all time favorite! I absolutely loved her spirit. She was positive, loving, encouraging, confident, sexy and not overly independent. Just a well balanced person. It was great! I’m glad that Caleb met her because whew chile, Caleb was a mess! I loved his vulnerability and only Kacie could love him through his issues. Great read, with likable characters and a well developed storyline. Kudos Ms. Lovett!

Accidentally found love
I loved this story. Caleb and Kacie literally found each other following an accident and fell in love because of fate. They found the love that they had been seeking in each other. This story was well written so well. I loved how Caleb found his match in Kacie and the same for Kacie. They way Caleb showed her was amazing and the way Kacie showed him she was all about him and not what he could do for her and that she spoke life into him in ways he had never received before. I highly recommend this story for to experience true unconditional love from the initial meeting.

Caleb and Kacie Ooooooweeee. I loved every minute of this beautiful love story opens with a day that starts off horribly for both of the main characters. And just when both characters feel the day can’t get any worse ,Kacie ends up being invoked terrible accident. And Caleb just happens to be caught in traffic and wittiness the accident. ( That’s all the spoiler I’m going to give☺️)
If you are the least little bit of a romantic at heart you will love this story it has all the components of a good read . Theres drama, family misunderstanding, crazy X’s, shady dealings,and

This was a wonderful story of two people Caleb and Kacie who fall in love
They meet because of an accident, or was it fate or their destiny
This was such a great book I read it in one setting, I just could not stop until I finished it, that's how good it was, I even shed a few tears at an emotional part

Cute Couple and Story!!!
Caleb and Kacie were such a cute couple together. They met when she was involved in an accident and he came to her rescue. They vibed from the beginning and you knew that they were made for each other. I loved how meeting her caused a growth in him. The grounding scene was one of my favorites because of the emotional feelings on both sides. I couldn't stand his ex and you will see why when you read the book. This was a very enjoyable and well-written book by Ms. Lovett.

WOW!
This was my first book by this author, and when I tell you it will warm your heart, please believe me. Caleb and Kacie meet under very unfortunate circumstances, but from their first meeting, you know their story is going to be phenomenal!
The characters are lovable, and relatable. I felt as if I was reading about real people, because they dealt with life issues as they relate to our quest to find real love. The author states she would love to see her books in film, and this story would make the perfect movie.

Kacie x Caleb
This was a good read. I wouldn't consider this a slow burn tho. I did feel like sometimes this book was extremely drawn out. I do like the idea of the man being the vulnerable one needing to be loved & healed. Sometimes I found the storyline to be long, drawn out & not making any sense. I didn't really grasp why Caleb's ex went crazy & I wasn't understanding the whole dynamic of the gas station & his brother & dad.
This was my first read by this author but it won't be my last ❤️

This was an awesome read my first read by Kaye Lovett and I was not disappointed….Kacey and Caleb were meant for each other a accident brought them together but they were destined for each other…..I loved all the secondary characters hoping to read about Cannon even Marco…now Alanah was just crazy you get caught cheating and still think a man going to take you back she was delusional

Everything I didn’t know I needed
This was an awesome read. A gentleman like Caleb with a little gangster in him is what most of ladies want! A man that is brave enough to be in touch with his feelings! Kacie is what most of us woman strive to be, strong when needed but soft enough to be led and taken care of! I felt the love and positive vibes throughout this read, I needed them, this book restored me!!!

Accidentally in Love with You was a sweet story with a bit of a twist. Caleb was this gentle giants of a man, looking for that special someone after many disappointing encounters with women out to use him. Accidentally meeting Kacie, is exactly what he needs. She’s sweet and also looking for her special someone. I also liked that this author did not fail in the chemistry department.. there was lots of hot, steamy sex!!!

Kacie was amazing woman with a healing hands like no other. She just needed to meet Caleb to find her better half. Even though, he had insecurities and bought love and affection in the past; I was glad he was able to recognize real love with Kacie. Just what I've been looking for!
This book had everything I'd been looking for in a novel! I'm was so happy to watch Kacie and Caleb not only grow together, but see their individual growth as well.
It was so refreshing getting a FULL relationship in a book, from beginning to marriage and the difficult time in between. I absolutely LOVED this.

Awesome love story, one line from the book really touched my heart. " You Feel Good To My Soul". I just loved Caleb and Kacie. Caleb's ex girlfriend was a pain in the butt, I am glad she got what she deserved. Hopefully Cannon, Carmen and Marco will get a chance to tell their stories. Kudos to the author👏👏👏

Too freaking cute!
Caleb & Kacie were everything! I loved reading a male perspective that wasn't all about being tough & hard. Kacie definitely reminded me of myslef in ways & those are honestly my favorite feminine characters to read. Lol

(3.75) This book was not perfect; I had some issues with it. However, it just made me feel so warm inside. So, my rating has more to do with how it made me feel. I truly enjoyed Caled and Kacie. They were such a cute and wholesome couple. I wish there was more.

Beautiful story
I'm in LOVE with this book. I love everything about it from beginning to very end. Man I didn't want this to end. I love me some Kacie and Caleb. I hope we'll get more from them in book I hope will be about Cannon finding love.
