It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt, right? Why did I have to be the one that got hurt? Kyle has managed to take everything from me all over again. All I can think of is how to salvage this. How do I fix things between the three men that I was supposed to be using for revenge? How do I fix things with Shay? I don’t think I can let them all go like I was supposed to.
This is book 2 Grace is still affected being sent away to an all girls school because of her brother telling on her to the parents about a post she made online. In fact he is still proud of getting her shipped off. Just as she is changing her mind about wanting to rub Her brother Kyles nose into taking his friends from him he finds out on his own. Which causes everything she wants to blow up. I won’t say more don’t want to give to much away but the brother and her parents if I was in Graces shoes would not be in my life period. Why everyone feels the need to tell her to get over her anger at him find a way to get along has got to be a joke. I received an arc copy for honest review can’t wait for the next book.
This is book two in the Catfished series, these books should be read in order as this continues Grace's story on revenge for feeling she was wronged when she was a teenager and sent to boarding school due to something her brother and his friends did. Now dating all three of her brother's friends, they are trying to find a way to make this work without her brother Kyle finding out. However, secrets always find their way out and this one keeps you reading to find out what will happen next. Can't wait for book 3!
Seriously I need one. Darius?!? Really?!? Better not be true! Side note I think I hate Kyle. Holy a**hole is right. I do think they keep throwing what she did in her face much more than then should and she needs to stop agreeing when people tell her how horrible she is. She did something that wasn’t cool. She apologized. Forgive and move forward. Don’t dwell.
It was not bad, but I wish I knew before starting, that the series is not complete yet as this book left us hanging and did not really bring any new developments to the plot. It was a in between book and if I could read now the finale it would have been better. This way it's a little unsatisfactory.
Grace has a harem made up of her brother's friends and they get up to some really naughty things and it just makes you flip pages faster. So if you crave things on the naughty side that also has revenge and lots of drama you'll want to read this book.
Release is a fantastic second installment of Alyssa Clark's Catfish series.
The characters had me intrigued from the very beginning and they had my heart aching as they worked to piece thier relationship back together after a devastating incident.
I was anxiously awaiting this book after quickly reading book 1. Alyssa Clark has such a great way of telling a story that it sucks me right in. It always has a realistic feel to it also. Characters have flaws, communication issues, and you know…the is regular issues regular people go through.
I’ve really enjoyed the dynamics between her and the three guys and that it’s not just a quick start relationship with all 3. They battle insecurities and the relationship she has with each of the guys is on their own timeline and at different points, hence the reason it feels more realistic to me. Grace is trying to do the right thing and become more self sufficient and right her wrongs. Her brother is a selfish dick.
The way this ending I about died. I need to know what’s going to happen and where things are headed. I’ll be waiting patiently!
I liked this book and will definitely be reading the next one. I'm invested in the characters and how Grace and the guys are going to come together. This book you see throughout how guilty Grace feels. She does not make much progress with the guys in this book, especially one of them. In my opinion Grace really did nothing to screw anybody over. So that made this book slightly annoying. I'm excited to see what happens next and if certain characters can pull their heads out of their butts.
