Although it's subtitled "Caregiving Journey," it really applies to the Christian life as a whole.

We have used Ambushed by Grace as the basis for a church-based caregiver support group for two years and plan to employ it with our 2017 class as well. Shelly Beach's honesty and her emphasis on supporting the caregiver - so that the caregiver can do a better job of helping a loved one - are the essential principles upon which we built a complete 3 month course of education, mutual support and encouragement. The most amazing aspect of the material is that it was constructive for Christian, spiritual, non-spiritual and Jewish class members. I am a geriatric care manager, my co-leader is a caregiver and Ambushed by Grace was the magic that elevated everyone as a bonded force.
