a quaint book with some good points. skimmed about half of it. she makes a good point that being in the garden is a good way of being mindful, being in the moment. points out that studies have shown that alzheimers patients who are placed in a garden all day are no longer violent. and that european sanitariums incorporated time in their gardens as an essential part of the cure, in the not so distant past.
