The recipes work. Already ahead of 50% of cookbooks but this is an ingredient book.

The fennel pizza crust recipe absolutely unique! As for the 50 Cloves of Garlic Chicken? I have put that in my calendar for when I come back from vacation! Super book, easy read, and a solid addition to a good kitchen library 📚.

We borrowed this book from one of the Little Free Library boxes in our neighborhood.

Fun recipes, interesting bits of history about garlic.

20 years ago, these recipes would have seemed exotic to many... Hummus, Peruvian potatoes, and Thai sweet-hot Duck. Not so much today. This is a fine little book, with splendid illustrations. The recipes are simple enough for even a beginning cook. Foodies will find it quaint.
