What a piece of crap! The writing reminds me of a book I wrote when I was 9, and that is obviously not a good thing. I can't believe I read it, but it came with a set of books I bought. Ick! The author tossed around the names of popular 1990's rock acts like they were going out of style. All the kids seemed to where rock T-shirts with popular song titles on them, and the author felt the need to mention this many times.
I'm not a fan of most British non-historicals. I don't like all that modern Brit speak, half the time I can't even figure out what they mean.
