A Strong Tower

Rate this book
Confused and frightened 16-year-old Anna Proust and her family chose to become Christians in the 1100s this historical fiction book describes the struggles and persecution of the Waldensians. For Anna, this trek was not only a search for refuge, but a search for truth, peace, and a strong tower for her soul as she left the Roman Catholic Church that had become obscured by error, greed, and sin. As we encounter conflict in our snug and comfortable home and church settings, do we find our security in the "strong tower" of God's Word? (193pp. Christian Light Pub., 2004.)

About the Waldensians. I was thinking of reading aloud for our homeschool history, it is above my children's level at this time. Maybe for assigned reading for middle school?
