Bernard Schwartz was Chapman Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of Tulsa, and is the author of forty books on the law and the history of the Supreme Court.
This book was narrowly focused on the bill of rights. It did not go into detail about why those particular rights were important. It focused on the ratification and discussions around ratification. Overall I found it disappointing.
