I love these books. So easy to read. Likable characters and the plots are interesting and keep me reading. Yes they are short and you can easily finish a book in a day if you have the time, but I like that - it’s refreshing. I am about to start Book 4 and I have Book 5 waiting to start immediately afterwards. That’s how enjoyable I am finding them. Sometimes you need something uncomplicated yet interesting to read and for me, these books are just that. I hope Suzy continues writing in this series.

The series is improving. Like a cheese, the writing still needs to mature a lot more, but there is now a better basis from which this could happen. The 'police' side of matters remains very weak though. The books are a bit like Mills and Boon versions of mysteries. But, I do feel the author is on the up.

For pure enjoyment 5*.
This series gets better as the characters develo. This story deals with the kidnap of Charlotte's former husband. Lots of humour involving exchanges are between Charlotte and Michelle, new wife and Charlotte's ex best friend.
