Great introduction that provides a clear understanding of economic development in Latin America and will help explain economic terms and concepts and how they relate to the Latin American context in a clear and concise fashion

This is one of the better written eceonomics books I've been assigned to read, and its surpisingly cheap for a textbook. I actually got into it enough that I read beyond what was assigned for class.

This an academic text...but I actually found it very interesting and easy to understand. Loved the sections on health, education, and rural development.
