Completed trilogy

Lucy longs for freedom, far from the Hazmat-suit-latex-gloved existence she knows. When supplies run out, Lucy leaves on a mission to find The Light — a cult that has the resources she needs.

The Light is led by the Nobleman; born their prophet, he’s always carried that weight alone.
Until he discovers Lucy’s secret ability to hold light in her hand.

Lucy's connection with the Nobleman bares The Light's dark motives, forcing her to decide between love and freedom.

I was totally caught up in this book from the very start. I couldn’t put it down. It’s not my normal genre, but I was really able to dig in and enjoy. You can almost feel Lucy’s need for knowledge after being denied for so long. The emotions conveyed in the struggles that Lucy faces are so powerful. I’m definitely going to be continuing this series. So good!.

This was a phenomenal dystopian romance. I was completely captivated by the story and it is definitely a story that’s going to stay with me for a while. I loved Lucy and her inquiring mind, she had a real thirst for knowledge. Without wanting to give to much away in regards to the actual storyline she comes to The Light and needs to figure out if that is her place in the world. The struggles she faces are really heartbreaking and emotional and I can’t wait to read the rest of her story.

I loved Conspire and Commit and I don't read many YA Dystopian romances The characters are well developed and well written. Lucy's story is captivating and once I started reading it I only put it down long enough to order pizza, it's that good. This is book one and a great start to The Illumination Chronicles and I can't wait to read the next book to find out what happens next. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
