She agrees to help him learn how he died, but when her investigation leads her to the old Chesterfield hotel, Gina finds a hope chest in the ruins and is drawn to the melted dueling pistol inside. When she touches it, she hurtles back in time to 1883 where she comes face-to-face with the very alive, very sexy mesmerist. Now all Gina has to do is prevent Drake’s fiery death so she can return to her own time. Or will she give up her life in the future for a lifetime of love in Drake’s arms?

The thief known as Delgatto stumbles into the ruins of the Chesterfield and finds an old wooden chest. When he touches the gold chain inside, he’s sent back in time, and realizes he’s in the exact time and place where his family’s priceless emerald was last seen. However, when he spies the legendary gem around the neck of a green-eyed beauty at a costume ball, he’s not sure which treasure he wants more—the emerald or the masked beauty wearing it. Trouble is, he has no idea who she is. Perhaps a green-eyed maid named Emily Drewett, who was offered a one-time chance to forget being a maid for one day in order to play Cinderella?

I've been a reader all my life, starting out with fairy tales and graduating to reading everything in the house when I grew older, including my parents' romances, mysteries, science fiction, fantasy, and action/adventure.

If a writer can combine romance and humor with a fantasy, science fiction, or paranormal element, I'm hooked. Add action/adventure, and it's even better!

Since I couldn't find quite enough books that combine these elements, I sat down to write some of my own. The result is the books you'll see on my website.

I now live in Colorado with my three dogs: Mo, Daisy and Trixie.

Pseudonyms: Pamela Luzier (Fantasy genre) and Parker Blue (Young Adult urban fantasy genre).

I read four out of five of the books in this boxed set (I wasn't interested in The Thief). This Pinkerton was my favorite story, mainly because of the banter between the hero and heroine. There wasn't quite enough of the "fish out of water" aspect that I enjoy in time-travel stories, but they were still fun to read.

I do wish that there was more of an epilogue after the last story. The stories can each be read as standalones, but the epilogues for each show that there is a connecting thread.

I loved how this box set of books was conceived! 5 wonderful authors, sitting at a table in a restaurant brainstorming a collaborative time travel story! Each one with a different style but a common goal woven together to produce a delicious 5 course story with a lovely desert ending. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience! I think you will too.

Five stars

I loved this series. Time travel books fascinate me and this boxed set had me hooked from the first chapter of book one. I would like to see a cozy version of this set, however.

5 authors, 5 stories, continues same story romance sci fi time travel and action thriller

Jump into these stories to see how these time travelers deal with the 1860's lack of modern conveniences and adapt to this time for six months. This also gives you a chance to read these talented writers. For mature readers due to sexual and violence in the series.

it was an interesting concept, kept my interest. Not a fan of romance novels, but the added time travel made it more interesting. This is book 1 of a series.
