I was not expecting it to end so abruptly or to be a cliffhanger. I don't understand why this story needs to be dragged out into separate books. I was really enjoying it, but now I have to buy another book just to have them have the same issues again and again.
The ending was unexpected so I'm looking for a sequel. Running away from people who were controlling it was an ingrained trait that affected potential relationships.
The plot was really cute, but I thought it felt a bit rushed. Nick and Alex didn't really have much chemistry beyond Alex just constantly needing him for things, in my opinion. I read until the end, but I don't think I'll get the sequel.
Very dull. There was no chemistry between the main characters. The MMC pov sounded female, so I was often confused on who's pov I was reading. It ended abruptly as well.
Interest but zero heat between the main characters. She is typical, doesn't really listen, acts before thinking, a bit self absorbed. Definitely didn't deserve him.
Abrupt cliffhanger, whiplash style. Not going to subject myself to the sequel.
