In the preface Dr Staples says "If you only read one self-help book in your lifetime, make it this one!"

The quote above is a big claim to make however I have lived in 3 countries in the last 7 years and this book has gone along with me for the ride every time.

I just love this book to be honest. It is not one to be devoured in one sitting and then shelved forever - I find myself reading a page or 2 and then letting it seep into my mind.

In the many hundreds of books in the self-help genre I have read there are very few I would ever award a 5-star to but this is one!

Wow
What a book it was
So much depth in every chapter

Other self help books mainly tell you what to do
But this book helps you understand the theory behind every thought
It’s quite scientific and enriching to know the essence of human relations, how much our psychological can influence our lives

Must read

There are no magic powers at work that make people successful.
Plain speak which sets the tone for this book.
The book by Staples has stood by my side for over two decades now and I have had several readings and numerous references while travelling or working. What you think is what makes you a success or a failure and this is one point drilled by numerous self-help and motivational books but this book offers the way to change ones thinking and psyche and then reap the benefits. The book lives up to its reputation despite re-reads and is one that can be recommended.

Bonne lecture.
