I should have known better when going out with my delinquent cousin.
Instead of the Cheesecake Factory, she takes me to an abandoned factory.

Olivia Turner never disappoints with her hot novellas and this one was scorching. I loved the original story line with the street racing. It is fresh and original.
Lara is dragged to a street race but her fast cousin. She feels out of place until she sees Dillion and when he lays eyes on her he forgets to start the race.
It was a cute story. Well written and I highly recommend. A little bit more spicier than her other books…more on the erotica side.

Lara is a very innocent person she just wants to go to the cheese cake factory not some street racing place her cousin takes her to. She knows she doesn’t fit in but she is mesmerized by Dillion the big man in the racing scene. She wants him to notice her since she knows she’s to pure for a guy like him. Little did she know when she was doing the flag drop she got the attention. Dillion doesn’t care for flag girls or girls who are always wanting him until he sees Lara and that’s it she’s his. He races and saves her when cops show up.
This is a fast story they get to talk Smexy times and that’s about it lol no real problems really.
No ow/om drama, No cheating, Sexy times, both virgins

✅ My views-
🖤I can easily say that the OTTurner is one of the only authors on GR who has made me go through all kinds of alphas, mountain men, bakers, bikers, CEOs, Cops , Footballers, wrestlers, and firefighters.
🖤The best thing about her books is, no two intimate scenes are the same. I know it sounds weird, but it's a very minute detail that I just noticed.
🖤There is just ....... something about how she writes, which makes her books unique.
🖤For example, in this book, the h was a naive shy girl, but she was NOT stupid. OTT has written maturity with shyness so perfectly that it doesn't sound cringy or boring.
🖤And the Hs in her book are OTT, but they are......just so sun-loving you know, like...... they are all serious and shit, but, they are funny too. I love it.
🖤One more thing, the conversation, though very short, are well put forward by the author, not many people can pull this off, some might write a 100-page book, and still, the characters feel empty, but not this one.
🖤Like, the first convo Dillion and Lara have is this,
“What’s your favorite dessert?”
I laugh. “What?”
“Your favorite dessert. The thing that gets you going.”
“A warm brownie with vanilla ice cream.”
“Good,” he says.
“With hot chocolate sauce poured all over it.”
He laughs. “I’ll have to remember that for movie night.”
My cheeks hurt from smiling so hard. The thought of having a movie
night with this man, curled up under a blanket with him, is making me all
kinds of giddy.
“So, imagine you’re having a long day,” he goes on. “And you have a
few opportunities to have a snack—some stale cookies you found in your
pantry, maybe a donut that looks just okay, it’s not your favorite flavor. Or
perhaps you think of stopping for a cinnamon bun, but they’re so heavy and
always leave you with a stomach ache. You get where I’m going with this.”
I laugh. “I have no idea where you’re going with this.”
He laughs too. “So, you have all those choices for desserts, but they’re
not going to satisfy you like your nice warm brownie out of the oven with a
big scoop of fresh vanilla ice cream plopped onto it, slathered in hot
chocolate fudge. So, even though you’re going through your day and you
have options for dessert, some are even pretty good options, you don’t want
any of them because you have your eye on that brownie. You’re waiting for
the moment you get to sit down on the couch in your pajamas after your
long day, grab a spoon, and dig into the best possible dessert. Having all
those other desserts would have taken away from this moment. It wouldn’t
have been as special. It wouldn’t have been as pure. That’s what you are to
me, Lara. You’re a hot brownie with vanilla ice cream and hot chocolate
fudge. The fact that you came with a cherry on top… Mmmmmm. I don’t
regret waiting to dive in at all.”
The feeling of overwhelm is gone. It’s replaced by a deep throbbing
desire as I stare at this stunning man. My heart is beating so hard. I’m
tingling all over.

This is probably my favorite by OTT! The epilogues made me love this even more.
Lara (21) gets tricked to go to an illegal car race with her cousin. All she wanted to do was go to the Cheesecake Factory 😩😩😩 (giiiirl, I feel you! It’s the bread and butter ha???), but her cousin wants her to be a little adventurous, so she goes with her.
She gets asked to be the flag girl (peep the cover) and she comes face to car with Dillon (28). Dillon’s been on the scene for years and many girls have tried to seduce him. But he never budges and doesn’t care to… until he sees Lana.
It’s Insta love/Lust 👀 at first sight.
As usual per OTT books, Dillon becomes OTT and jp and protective instantly. He’s all about Lana (swoon), and when she inadvertently tells him she’s a v, he knows that’s it for him. Because HE’S ALSO a v (I don’t even mind if I have to suspend belief here. I love it 🥰).
The 🔥🔥🔥 was insane here. So so good! Dillon might be a v, but he knows how to use his fingers, mouth, and d 💁🏻♀️💅. The amount of time he spends on making sure she’s good is just 🤌🏻. And his follow through is 💦🥵. Plus, he has duuuuurty mouth 🤤😅😉🔥.
And don’t get me started on the epilogues! We get one 8 months later and then 12 years later. I swear. The second epilogue had me swooning and smiling so much! Gahhhh!!! It was so adorable! I love seeing MCs many years later in their HEA 🥹❤️❤️.

To me, for a book to be a good romance, it has to have an excellent MMC, but when it does have an excellent FMC? Who makes you want to be her, or just her best friend? It just makes the book 1000% better!!
And I loved Lara!! Can she be my best friend? Omg, I loved all her comments about being in the race; her cheesecake comments were too funny. If I were in her situation in real life, I could also be thinking about the cheesecake I was promised.

Don’t expect too much plot; it’s basically the story of how they get together and then live happily together. The story was so hot, but maybe because of the epilogues—it has TWO—after reading them, it left me gooey inside, so happy for them.
Btw, I hated the book cover and hesitated on reading it just because of it, but don’t do it; it was so worth it!

This was instalove to the max but I LOVED it! This starts off with Lara's cousin taking her to a drag racing event. She gets asked if she wants to be the flag girl and says yes! There were four cars racing- only three started the race, the other guy was too busy staring at her in awe.
"I’ve never had my heart broken and she has the ability to completely shatter it into a million pieces."
Dillon sees her and knows she's the one. They have a wild night together- getting chased by cops and losing both of their virginities. I adore Lara and her quirks! She talks a lot when she's nervous and ended up blurting out some pretty funny stuff within just a little while of being with Dillon.
There's spice, humor, and romance. Everything you could ask for! Five stars.

Lara and Dillon's story is one that I personally love. It's a fast-paced romance of the good girl falling in love with the bad boy at first sight.
Lara is the type of young woman who keeps to herself and would rather read than get in trouble but when her cousin tricks her into attending a drag race. Little did she know that she would catch the attention of the one guy she never expected to find herself drawn to.
Dillon dreams of becoming a professional driver, but to get there he's been owning all the illegal races while doing side jobs. He's ignored all the race bunnies that try to get his attention, until the girl of his dreams appears before him holding the flag to start his latest race. Not only is he determined to win this one, but he's gonna win the heart of the angel that causes his heart to race just as fast as he races his car.
I devoured this so quickly, I should've been cited with a speeding ticket. It has all the insta-love, action and steam that I love from Olivia along with the added bonus of it being a double virgin tale. Both these characters may be opposites in some ways, but the both of them have hearts of gold and I really enjoyed reading their story. It's a high-octane level of sweetness packed with enough of steam to make your late summer nights even hotter. One of my new favorites by this smutastic author and I can't wait to see what she writes next!

Better Than Cheesecake
The excitement of the drag racing and car chasing is a great warm-up for what comes next. The furiously fast-paced and searing over-the-top double-v action was fun to read. The rubber on the tires isn't the only thing that burns up!
Lara's cousin may be up to no good, but Lara's the one to reap the rewards. And oh, what rewards they are! 🔥🔥🔥
For the record, I love that Olivia T. Turner spoils readers with two epilogues. ❤❤❤ Always fun to see further down the road.

Such a fun, sweet, and OTT novella.
(But first....seriously couldn't get a cover to even slightly resemble Lara..)
I love how smitten Dillion is with Lara when he sees her being the flag girl. Both are virgins, despite him being older. The epilogues are so sweet!

In a place where she feels strange, she becomes fascinated by a driver and lets her hair down to dazzle him. Dillon Sanders, 28, can't take his eyes off the young woman minutes before the race starts and won't be able to get her out of his mind for the rest of the race.
Not bad that in this book, they both lose their v-cards. It's been too long since I've read a book like this. She's always the one who loses her v-card. Also, they don't have much age difference, so they play off each other well.
It reminded me thus of the beginning a bit of 3MAS, because it has some similarity or two because of the races, being dragged by someone to them, and the police chase. The rest has nothing to do with it.
The steamy scenes were hot, on the hood of the car twice, come on, some of us readers would like this to happen once in a while.

Dillon Sanders, 28, can't take his eyes off the young woman minutes before the race starts and won't be able to get her out of his mind for the rest of the race.
Not bad that in this book, they both lose their v-cards. It's been too long since I've read a book like this. She's always the one who loses her v-card. Also, they don't have much age difference, so they play off each other well.
It reminded me thus of the beginning a bit of 3MAS, because it has some similarity or two because of the races, being dragged by someone to them, and the police chase. The rest has nothing to do with it.
The steamy scenes were hot, on the hood of the car twice, come on, some of us readers would like this to happen once in a while.

Every once in a while, Olivia T. Turner comes out with books that are slightly different from her usual ones: with more character development and a more romantic love story. This book is exactly that. Obviously it’s still erotica (I mean, the author is Ms. Turner after all), but we get to immerse ourselves more in the story before we get to the sex part. I really love this type of books.
Dillon and Lara could not be more different on the outside; he’s a race car driver and she’s an aspiring librarian. As usual, their story is fast and an insta love, but it’s well done. Both the h and the H are fun, witty, and smart, and I found the H to be surprisingly romantic in the way of expressing his feelings (it was dual POV).
Well written, with no typos that I could see, this book had a lot of potential to be way longer than it was. But in true OTT fasion, it was less than 200 pages, so perfect for when you need a break.
Totally recommend it if you likem the typical bad boy - good girl trope.

This was fun and ridiculous but I dig it. Sparks fly between Dillon and Lara once their eyes meet. It was like everything around didn't exist in that time. It was cute reading their reaction towards one another and it was also hot, I'll have to say that.
Anyway, this was a good read. Short and quick for passing time. My first book from this author, certainly won't be my last.

This was a great book. I really like Lara and Dillion together. These two are attracted to each other as soon as they see it other. Neither Lara or Dillion fight their feelings. This was a fast paced, insta-love, DV romance that will get your engine running and needing some water to cool off. I can't wait to see what Ms. Olivia has in store for us next.

??? y’all just met like two hours ago and ur alr saying i love u ? i mean let’s be honest, this novella was just smut.
i liked the concept of it and the fact that they were both virgins because everyone in america knows i hate the playboy x virgin trope. i just think if it was a little longer and stretched out more it could’ve been a rlly good book.
i have no problem with instalove trope when it’s done right, like in fairytale green, but ur fr telling me that y’all know virtually nothing abt each other and just met TODAY and ur already saying i love you ???? just ????? what ???? i’m so confused.
i will say tho this was a very safe book and that’s pretty much the only reason i finished reading it. it honestly just made me wanna reread fairytale green. will i ever shut up abt that book ? no. it’s just SO GOOD !!!

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Dillion sees Lara when she's the flag girl at the illegal race he's in. Lara went with her cousin, Tina and was suppose to go the Cheesecake Factory, but ended up at an illegal race. Lara doesn't know why she's there, but when she's sees Dillion she can't keep her eyes off of him. When Lara's cousin Tina wants to be the flag girl again, they tell her no and asks Lara if she wants to do it. When Lara stands up between the cars she can't keep her eyes off of Dillion. When she drops down the flags, Dillion just sits there staring at Lara. Lara mouths the words GO to him and he takes off. Lara watches as Dillion catches up with the other drivers and passes them all. Dillion wins the race, when he goes to find Lara red and blue flashing lights appear. Dillion searches the crowd for Lara, when he finds her he drives up to her and tells her to get in. Dillion speeds away with red and blue lights chasing him. Dillion pulls into an abandoned factory and is able to lose the cops. Dillion and Lara sit and talk for a while, they find out they're both virgins. When Dillion starts to kiss Lara she pulls away and steps out of his car. Dillion gets out and tells her he's sorry he'll take it slow with her. Lara tells him thats not it, she was caught off guard. Dillion sits Lara on the hood of his cars and they stare at the stars. Soon Dillion starts to kiss Lara, they he pleasures her and they make love. Dillion can't believe he took her for her first time in an abandoned factory. Dillion takes Lara to a lookout to watch the stars and they talk about what they want for the future. Dillion first sees Lara as the flag girl and is shocked still (literally) in instant desire & lust...until Lara tells him to "go" and he starts his race. This begins Olivia's newest story - Revved Up.
As the race is over, the police rush onto the scene and Dillion escapes with Lara in his muscle car. Dillion takes her on a dangerous & fast chase away from police and they hide out in an abandoned factory.

When he rescued her from the raid at the drag race, he knew now was his opportunity to make this woman his partner for life.
OMG what an amazing love story, two people who had never been interested in anyone before but once they saw each other, instantly fell in love! What a journey, full of steam, passion a possessive alpha for the one woman he would love all his life. What more can you ask for in a love story.

What a bunch of rubbish.
First of. They just met. There is NO character building. And oh, yes they don't know (just like us, the readers) nothing, absolutely nothing about each other and yes it's a good idea (they know each other for I guess around, 15 minutes if not less?) to have unprotected sex. No worries about getting pregnant or any STD's from her side.
The only thing known about them is he is 28 and a virgin. She is 21 and a virgin and in college. He doesn't care about her future or what she is studying. Or her professional career. She's not even allowed to touch herself...
And another thing.... How can he tell her about her own body? Doesn't woman know their own bodies better than (let's face it for what it is) a stranger? He told her (she's also a virgin) that she will only hurt for a short while.... How will he know 1st if it will hurt and 2nd, for how long it will hurt? Revved Up by Olivia T. Turner is a fast-paced exciting instalove novella. This author is the queen of writing short stories that are sweet and steamy with over-the-top alpha males obsessed with their female. Lara Korrick is the girl next door. She dresses modestly, prefers books over booze, and doesn’t waste her time on boys. Dillon Sanders is a badass illegal street racer with big aspirations of going pro one day. All the guys want to be Dillon and all of the girls want to date him. Dillon spots Lara and instantly knows she has to be his. His forever angel. Dillon is absolutely over-the-top, jealous, possessive, and SWOON-WORTHY! The spice was also so great and just the right amount. This is definitely a great read in-between longer stories!
