It was six years ago when I was captivated by her. She was on-stage at a charity auction and I was entranced by her, She was not my usual type, but I didn’t care. As soon as I saw her, I wanted to claim every inch of her. And I always get what I want.
I’m used to being able to buy my way into any situation, and getting close to her backstage at the auction was no different. Our eyes locked and it was game over… I knew she was mine. That scorching one night stand was something I’d never forget. We never spoke again… until now.
She’s standing in front of me as gorgeous as ever. Beside her is a six-year-old little boy with my eyes. My life is about to get a lot more complicated…
Grumpy Billionaire Daddy is a standalone book in Babies and Grumpy Bosses series. It's a full-length romance packed with heart and heat! ! No cheating or cliffhangers and a satisfying happily ever after.

After reading the reviews I couldn't wait to read it. The Hero sucked, and the Heroine was an idiot. The story is based on an idiot who creates issues that simply don't exist. He has the emotional ability of a prepubescent girl with her first crush. Why is the heroine putting up with the vile treatment from the Hero and his family? I was over this book by chapter 4, it continued to get worse right up until the anticlimactic end. To my regret I purchased the next book at the same time I purchased this one. I fear for the next installment, perhaps I'll save that self punishment for another lifetime...
Jade goes to stand in as a model for her friend Tammie when she has a family emergency. During the event she meets Michael, and they have an instant connection. They share an amazing night but when he wakes up, she is gone, and this upsets him because he was hoping for more. Years later he sees her walking with a little boy on the street and thinks she lied about being single and goes to her to confront her. Jade is stunned and tries to calm Michael down. Once she gets away from him, she starts panicking about what to say to him about their son. Will Michael give her a chance to explain? Can they get a second chance to be together?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

A fantastic story with so many wonderful parts! I loved it all, the banter, the quirkiness, and the whole, this could happen to anyone kind of scheme of the story, all parts that made it such a great read! First of all, the characters are so realistically portrayed that they feel fully human. The story is something that could totally happen to any person, but the conflict definitely has an elitist bend to it. The misunderstandings are exacerbated by the different world thinking that Jade and Michael both have. Their passion felt real though, and as the story progressed, I was completely on #TeamJade, until I thought Michael woke up to how great she actually was too, then I just loved them both together. Take the time to read this book!
Michael and Jade meet at a charity auction, and they spend a spicy evening together, only for Michael to wake up and Jade is gone. Now 6- years later, fate has destined for them to cross paths again, when Michael spots Jade walking down the street with a little boy, and he is goes over to confront her, thinking she was lying when she said she was single. Will Jade be able to calm Michael down to tell him about his son? This is a well written story which has realistic and relatable characters, witty banter, conflict, tension, emotions, and love, which leads to an entertaining and compelling page turner. In the book Grumpy Billionaire Daddy, Jade has to stand in as a model for a friend when the friend has a family emergency. During this event she meets Michael, and they have amazing chemistry. They spend a wonderful night together but she leaves first thing in the morning before he wakes up. Unfortunately she forgot to leave her number and realizes she has no way to contact him when she discovers that their night together caused her to become pregnant. Years later Michael sees her walking with a little boy on the street and confronts her. Michael is nasty and Jade is stunned and unable to explain to Michael. The road to lasting happiness is never without a few hiccups and bumps many that Michael and Jade experience but, true love wins in the end.
Surviving on her own, Jade did whatever it took to raise her son. She made sure he had what he needed. She also helped to raise her sister and provided assistance with her education. Michael was raised with a silver silver spoon. When he found out he had a son, he was angry because he felt Jade should've put more effort into finding him. Threatening her to take custody, sent of a lot of rage.
I liked that Jade wouldn't allow his family disrespect her. She wax a survivor
5 star excellence from start to finish by Alexis Lee. The storyline held my attention from the start to finish, looking forward to read more. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good steamy romance with a sexy looking but grumpy billionaire & a secret baby. Do Jade & Michael have a future?.

It started off great, but lost steam somewhere towards the middle. I didn’t really like Michael after their reunion. He became more palatable later but still managed to annoy me. I also didn’t like how they were quick to fall in bed with each other when they had a lot of issues to resolve. I liked Jade’s character a lot because she wasn’t looking for a handout or needing someone to rescue her; she was strong and capable. 3.4 Stars.
I enjoy this author's take in the "one night stand ending with surprise pregnancy". In this case, we have a baker who comes across the baby's father after 6 years. The child is well written, which is something this author does in all her books of this type. He's a fun kid. My only issue is the formatting. For some reason, many short paragraphs start with phrases or words in all caps, a really annoying choice. Otherwise, a fun read.
This book was a great read. Finished in one sitting. It is very fast paced read. Jade is a stand in model for her friend. She meets Michael and as a one night stand with him. She ends up pregnant. Fast forward 7 years she meets Michael again. The rest is history. This was the first book that I have read by this author and it won't be my last. #kbsbloggingandreview
This is part of the Babies and Grumpy Bosses Series but is read as a standalone. Elle and Luke's story is one you don't want to miss. Once you start reading it you won't be able to put it down. No shortage of drama or family issues. Secrets and some angst but in the end an HEA that you'll love. I read a free copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.

I enjoyed reading this beautiful story. It’s emotional and heartfelt. It had me all in my emotions. Love the characters and the storyline. Highly recommend reading this.

The storyline was really good, the characters were very interesting, and the story unfolded in a great way. There were some places that need some work, but overall it wasn't bad.
This book and the whole series need to be put through an editor. Several words are missing and grammatical errors throughout. It is a good read, but it could have been better.
Wonderful story, Couldn't put it down, well written, pulled you into the storyline. All the angst of a relationship that was lost before it could get started. Well worth the time invested in reading.
