Kim Adams has always been passionate about early childhood education. She is eager to help kids explore real-life experiences through her short, simple, rhyming stories. Kim is on a mission to turn everyday challenges into opportunities for learning and development. Her decision to put her love and passion into these wonderful books was inspired by her three energetic children and husband of 15 years. Her goal is to bring fun, engaging, meaningful stories to children and families all over the world.
About the Illustrator
Ayesha Warusavitharana is a self-taught artist. From an early age, she loved drawing and exploring her innate artistic ability. As an adult, Ayesha began working with independent children authors creating illustrations that brought their stories to life. She has since then illustrated over 50 books and counting.

Great lessons learned story for kids!!!
What a great smooth read and not to mention the brilliant use of the animal to be the voice of reason. This is a story that should be in every early readers book collection to help teach the high value of being honest. I visually loved the authenticity in the characters and the flow of the rhyming which can help early readers memorize the story. Definitely recommend this for all early readers!!!

I’ve been checking out children’s books to share with my great-nieces who are both toddlers. These Billy Be Kind books are just the ticket. The stories use fun rhyming text, are entertaining, and give children important lessons about honesty, helpfulness, kindness, and more.
In this one Billy works hard doing housework. Can he come to my house next, I wonder? 😂😂 Happy reading!

Wonderful children's story about the importance of honesty. The story follows two boys who lie to their mother only to realize the importance and benefits of being honest. The story is told in rhyming prose and there are little goodies like a coloring page and a quiz at the end. Lovely illustrations. I felt it wasn't preachy or pushy in its message.

Honesty is the best policy.
This was a beautiful and colorful book. This book was expertly written. It is so important for brown and black kids to be represented in literature. This book shows positive images of a black family. This positive representation of the black family is not often seen in traditional literature. Bravo to the author!!

I recently enjoyed hearing this story. It was a delightful story that shows the importance of honesty. This charming tale shows how the boys in the story realise that their little lie is wrong and how good it feels to be honest. Children will relate to the characters and the moral of this story. Highly recommend

You can’t go wrong with Billy Be Kind books, there’s always a lesson worth learning for the little ones and the cute mouse character and rhymes adds fun to it all. Highly recommend it !

Great lesson in a fun story!
This short story is a great example for little ones, and the mouse is so cute! Wonderful creativity packed into a short lesson. The activity at the end not only helps with comprehension but also reinforces the lesson. Well done!

Teaching Good Morals

Perfect Demonstration of the Importance of Honesty!
Such an amazingly cute and educational story to teach the importance of honesty. As a mother, I appreciated the examples used to show that even a small lie is still a lie. The littles LOVED IT!

They loved it !
This will be our second time reading Billy Be Kind series to my nephew’s and they loved it! It teaches a great lesson of the importance of telling the truth I practically liked it because it has questions at the back of the book that you can use to interact with the kids and ask questions , make sure they really understood the story. Great buy!
