Prolific author, speaker, and teacher Hank Hanegraaff has produced this amazing resource, which should be available in churches everywhere! It is both remarkably thorough and incredibly concise, a writer's feat, for sure. His use of acronyms and alliteration make reading each question both memorable and fun. This book is truly a crown jewel of Hanegraaff's life's work and calling! A true gift to the Body of Christ!

While the book is small in size, it is packed full of information. This thick, yet compact book is made up of 172 questions (followed by detailed answers to the questions). The book is separated into different sections:

-Basic Christian Thought and Spiritual Growth
-Spiritual Gifts
-Holidays
-The Nature and Character of God
-Basic Apologetics
-Old Testament Issues
-New Testament Issues
-Historical Jesus and Christology
-Religions and Cults
-Discernment and Aberrant Teachings
-Spiritual Warfare
-Pseudoscientific Apologetics
-Christianity and Science
-Ethics
-Money
-Resurrection & Afterlife
-Eschatology / Revelation
-Biblical Interpretation
-Final Thoughts

This book was originally released as two separate, shorter books that were combined to form “The Complete Bible Answer Book.”

I enjoyed reading this book like a devotional. Some of Hanegraaff’s theology I agree with, while there are other aspects that I disagree, but overall the material is presented concisely and intellectually.

The complete Bible answer book, collectors edition by hank Hanegraaff is a book with common and not so common questions curious people ask about the Bible from marriage to contradictions, to simple questions like “are there different tears in Heaven?” And “if heaven is perfect, won’t that be boring? “ but they also have much harder hitting questions than those previously mentioned that made me laugh out loud. Having said that I thought the author did a great job explaining everything but first you have to get through the 500 questions before hand, I don’t know why he just didn’t put the question and then answer it but instead decided to put all the questions together and then explain all the answers. It is easy to follow along and I was definitely down to read what he had to say being someone who loves God but I must admit the fact that he is worrying about the state of America and condemning homosexuals made me want to DNF the book and although I didn’t and it made me sad that he didn’t not even once mentioned the love of God and his condemnation of the LGBTQ community not only that every negative he gave as Proof of gods words remaining apropos good things like AIDS, gonorrhea, syphilis all things that anyone can catch I mean if only homosexuals got aids I would be like yeah maybe the Bible was onto something but no even children get aids not as much today as in the 80s and 90s but still I digress. He also has a whole chapter on contradictions and I found that chapter quite interesting although throughout the book he points out contradictions and then explains them and every answer he uses the scripture and even tells of other books if you want to read deeper into the subject. I usually do not read books about religion written by other people because they’re no closer to Jesus than I am but I wanted to read the complete Bible answer book and for the most part I am glad I did I loved his explanation on evolution abortion ATC and although I may not agree with him I still found it also interesting. I am not saying that the book is the end-all and be all of Christian advocacy but it is a great place to start. The Bible has been translated many times and when you have many different authors of one story the text is definitely going to change so take it how you will because for everyone there is a path to Jesus Christ you just have to find your own. God is love and love is good and anyone who wants to use Christianity to hate is not a real Christian at all. Please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.#ThomasNelsonAndXanderFinnGIF, #NetGalley, #HankHaneGraaff, #TheCompleteBibleAnswerBook,

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this eARC.

Hank Hanegraaff’s “The Complete Bible Answer Book: Collector’s Edition” is a treasure trove for the curious seeker. Whether you’re a seasoned theologian, a newcomer to faith, or a curious non-believer, this revised and expanded edition offers profound insights into the Bible, Christian beliefs, and life’s most pressing questions.

Hanegraaff tackles over 210 questions that have perplexed minds for centuries. From creation to spiritual gifts, he dives deep, providing scholarly yet accessible answers.

His approach bridges the gap between intellectual rigor and practical relevance, making complex topics digestible.

Hankronyms:

Throughout the book, Hanegraaff introduces “Hankronyms”—memorable acronyms that distill key concepts. These mnemonics enhance understanding and retention.

For instance, “P.R.A.Y.” stands for “Position, Request, Adoration, Yielding”—a guide to effective prayer.

Life Applications:

Hanegraaff doesn’t stop at theory. He connects biblical truths to everyday life. Whether it’s navigating relationships, understanding cults, or seeking purpose, he provides practical wisdom.

Respectful Engagement:

The author engages with diverse perspectives, addressing religions, cults, and contemporary issues. His respectful tone encourages dialogue rather than dogma, I loved this aspect of this book, it is unique.

Consider this book your spiritual pantry, stock full of answers to your questions.

The Complete Bible Answer Book” transcends mere Q&A. It’s an invitation to explore, question, and grow.

Compelling and thought provoking. Very weak, misguided, and potentially purposely misleading in its discussion of evolution, but otherwise a very worthwhile read.

Yes, I read it on my Kindle. It was easy to follow and handy in bed. My wife and I used it as a bedtime devotional. It has 172 questions and answers. I would usually read two questions and answers if they were relatively short. A very long answer put my wife to sleep, probably my droning voice and not the content.

The Q&A's are organized around topics such as Religion and Cults, New Testament Issues, Spiritual Warfare, and Ethics, and a number of others. The answers are clear and usually have three arguments to them, so they cover the material well. Hanegraaff's style is easy to read, and he uses terms the average reader can easily understand. I recommend it as a handy reference or as a devotional. It is not the kind of book you would sit down and read a lot in at one sitting; at least I wouldn't. It does not read like a novel or an extended argument. However, the book's organization is great if you use it as stated above.

Here is a sampling of some questions.
Who was Cain's wife?
Is baptism necessary for salvation?
Must women be silent in church?
Are images of Jesus idolatrous?
Is Mormonism Christian?
What is Zen Buddhism?
Can Christians be demonized.
What does the Bible teach about debt?
Are there degrees of reward in Heaven?

You get the idea. Curious? Get the book. I recommend it.
