Thank you for the purchase. Just want to share a small story about why I wrote this book. This book is in a simplified form (as the title itself says). I dedicate this book to my Grandma. She was a wonderful businesswoman, ironically; she was not too much educated. Still, she was running a great store. She always gets stuck in English. I and my sibling always try to teach her small words, which she learned quickly. But what about the difficult ones? I wrote this book in a very simplified manner. So that any beginner, even if he/she knows the basics of English, can understand and kick start his/her journey as a writer. All the best...!!
"How to Be a Successful Writer?" by Sanjana Bhanot is a 46-page straightforward guide designed to help aspiring writers of all levels, especially beginners. Dedicated to her grandmother, this book emphasizes accessibility. It provides practical advice on essential topics such as finding your voice, understanding storytelling, and overcoming writer's block, making it a supportive companion for those just starting. The initial chapters also in depth discuss about types of writing which is appreciated.
A key takeaway from the book is the importance of daily writing practice. Sanjana Bhanot compares writing to exercising a muscle, emphasizing that consistent effort will lead to improvement. Alongside this, she stresses the need to read widely, suggesting that immersing oneself in various genres and perspectives will foster creativity and a deeper understanding of the craft.
In the book, she also addresses the inevitable rejections writers face. She encourages readers to view rejection as a learning opportunity, citing examples of famous authors who persevered through countless rejections. This ties into her larger message of resilience—success comes through persistence, not immediate validation.
Lastly, the book highlights the importance of editing and building a supportive community. Sanjana Bhanot urges writers to edit ruthlessly, refining their words until they shine, while also advocating for the value of connecting with other writers through workshops and communities. Ultimately, she reminds writers to trust their unique stories and measure success by the joy of creation and meaningful connection with readers.
