In the height of my geocaching days, I learned of orienteering. I took myself down to the Boy Scout Council and purchased this book. I was really seeking compass skills at the time. A few years later, however, I did get into orienteering a bit. This is a good reference.
After getting through the technical discussion on maps and compass, the books turns to the fun of orienteering and competition. I will keep this as reference. Hopefully, our Scouts will be excited to try some of this out.
