Audiobook: This story was very entertaining. Once the audiobook started, I had to listen until the end as I had to know what would happen next. From the opening pages until the end, I was riveted. I liked the complex characters. I enjoyed the snappy dialogue between some of the characters. I admired the fierce independence of the female characters. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Laura Christy's narration was great, and her performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Brilliant
What a great start to this series. I have been hooked from the first page . It's fast paced and full of blood and guts . Joanne Nundy is an excellent writer and story teller and draws you right in to the fight alongside the characters. Really looking forward to the next book.

This is a great, first story from this brilliant English writer & a new zombie series! I love zombies & this hits all the spots! Excellent ideas & story line. The characters are everything you expect from this author, well formed & thought out, just like the plot! It is really well written, with good pace & excitement! Brilliant! A real fun read & yes I do strongly recommend!

Strong female characters leading the charge to find a vaccine or cure against the growing hoards of the infected. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Spooky season reads fitst book and SPOILER when you just get attached to a character and the author kills them off 😔 😔 😢 😢 is a really good series though can't wait to meet her at end of October
