I can hear it now! "Kitty, why are you being so mean to this book?" Okay, before you come at me with pitch forks and torches, let me tell you why I'm being so harsh. You can kill me after that if you still want to.

The book isn't horrible, I guess. It does give some information on the Celtic zodiac. But that's the end of my praise because even THAT is information you can find through a Google search for free. You don't really need to buy a book for that.

What's really bad is that this book talks way too much about Greek and Egyptian mythology and zodiacs when it advertises itself as a CELTIC moon sign book. Even though it's otherwise really generic, if it had stuck to the thing it promised in the first place, I probably wouldn't have been so harsh.

I confess I picked this up super cheap at a thrift store, and good thing. If I had paid full price for this I'd have been livid!

I picked this up because Celtic astrology is often referred to in Celtic jewelery and art, so I wanted to know about the symbols. This book actually contains a good summary of ancient history and the travels of the people who became the Celts. But no, I'm not planning on transforming my life by the power of the zodiac.
