It is a strong sequel to 𝗬𝗲𝗻𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗺 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗱𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 because it earns the right to tell 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻'𝘀 story.
𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻'𝘀 character arc was my favorite part of the story. I really liked seeing his journey and how he slowly reconnects with his family and allows himself to love again. He had his own identity and didn't feel like just Kaushikan's brother. His bond with Kaushikan's children was a sweetest part of the story.𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗮 is a really good match for Mohanan. Both are in their healing phase and their relationship had its own share of conflicts and emotions.
𝗥𝗮𝗷𝗲𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻 was one of my favorite characters in Part 1, He has a legitimate reason to hate Mohanan but I kept wondering, why does he hate only Mohanan and not Kaushikan? Because Kaushikan is the person who used Rajeevan as leverage to force Piramila into marriage. Mohanan was just an arrow; Kaushikan was the archer. Yet Kaushikan becomes Rajeevan's idol.
I wish 𝗥𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗺 and 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻'𝘀 bond had been explored more. I also wanted Radha's love for Mohanan to be explored more deeply.
𝗞𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗻, 𝗬𝗮𝘇𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗶, 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗶 and 𝗣𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗮 add warmth and continuity to the family story.
This is a story about love, forgiveness and finding your way back to the people you once left behind. Definitely a good sequel that gave 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻 his own identity beyond being 𝗞𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗻'𝘀 brother.
