I’m a husband and author, and I may be a little religious about both. I like writing hot sex and encapsulating it in the delicate white silk of devotion, commitment, and psychotic obsession.

When it comes to Lucian Bane books, I know without fail I will love them, not because I am biased but because he has yet to disappoint me. There is always something unexpected, unique or down right mind blowing. This series has been no exception to that rule. We are on book 5, with more still to come. Please be advised these books have to be read in order or you’ll be lost in the wonderful MC swamp world.

These books may be short but they always pack a punch!

- MC romance
- Multiple couples
- Swamp life
- Touch her you die vibes

We are back with the twelve on a mission to extract Rafael from god only knows what. The Seer can only lead them so far with his ‘sight’ and the rest is up to them. Only when the women start to go ‘missing’ they become devastatingly distracted, their hearts are with them and their minds are not in the game. They need to get back to make sure they are safe and find Cherie who is determined to complete this mission without Samuel. She believes they aren’t his demons to fight but all that is hers is intact his too.

All while Lesion is trying to uncover his feelings for Tully, he is a man of facts and science so all that he is feeling is completely new to him. Though he can’t deny the pull, the need to murder his own brothers for their comments. With a little shove from the Belle Eveque and The Eveque himself they will find their way..

Can I also say I love seeing the Belle Eveque and Eveque together, their relationship has developed since book one and I can’t wait to continue this journey with them.
All while he is trying to keep her safe and she is fighting to be in the thick of it all as his right hand.

Now they also have a rat within them.. time to hunt

Okay enough, it’s so hard to review these books without giving too much away. I can honestly say one true Bane fashion I am left here desperately wanting more!

Wow

Love the names of the uncle's of Cheri.
Lesion and Tully, a weird combination but a good one at the same time. Tully doesn't realize that things are cut and dry with Lesion.
I dislike the cliffhanger but have come to understand that the author loves them. LOL.

Oh my gosh!

I am amazed at this crazed MC series!
It seems like a true family series, not like a MC series.
The trials and sacrifices these men make, their women they find and save, and fall in love with, but there is the "vow" and it is major! Like dominoes falling The Twelve are on their way down. Down to help the less fortunate, be a family, own their swamp, and complete conquest of evil on their "land dragons, yet love cares not for time.
Each book is part of the previous, and the author does an amazing job drawing the reader in, but order is important! These are not stand alones.
I wasn't certain when I read the first, now I am completely addicted!
And I am ready, I need book six!
Wow!
Excellent writing! Wonderful characters, amazing continuous revelations!
My new addiction!
I love this series!

This series will wrap you up in the Twelve and the women that are becoming so important to each of them. We continue with the relationships of The Eveque and his Beth, Samuel (The Seer) and his Cherie and Spook and his Maggie and now Lesion and his Tully. This book does not disappoint, I am loving learning more about each of the Twelve. Tully is so bright and full of light and you can’t help want to protect her. Lesion has something about him that just makes you want to know more about him, I love how he thinks and is learning about how to deal with his feelings, which are foreign to his scientific brain. There is continued action and suspense with Cherie and her past and can’t wait to see how it unravels….this book left me hanging on the edge of the cliff looking for what comes next…….

Lesion
Lucian Bane

This is a good short story about Lesion and Tully.
Tully is full blown in love with Lesion and she makes those facts known to Lesion.
Lesion is a man of science and facts so it's difficult for him to uncover his feelings for Tully, he's not even sure if he's in love with Tully, he knows he thinks about her all the time and doesn't want someone else having her to themselves.
It's so much for him to take in so he has to talk to another female to figure this out.
A good short story

Lesion is the 5th book from the Bayou Bishops MC by Lucian Bane. This one is a short read but contains so much. Each book in this series is left off on a cliffhanger and follows multiple storylines at once. At times it can get confusing to read but no less enjoyable. Also like the other books we get to know some characters better and some new ones are introduced.
This book picks up in the motel with the guys planning on how to attack the Den to get The Revelator's wife Cherie back. She turned herself into the men looking for her to try and save Rev and the swamp. The Revelator sees that they aren't just rescuing Cherie when they go in the Den but someone else also. That's where Tully comes in. She has been at the Den since she was a homeless teenager after her parents were killed by a Hurricane. She had no one so when members of The Den started paying attention to her and helping her she couldn't say no. Now it's years later and the trauma she suffered at their hands will never go away. Just like the light inside her has never dimmed. It's Lesion's job to rescue her according to fate. Lesion has no interest in having a woman or marrying one. When he sees Tully though he knows he wants to map every inch of her skin. He instantly falls for her like fate predicted. While the rescue is going on the swamp also has to prepare for all of The Twelve to take on wives and leave the life of celibacy behind. The wives there now have to go through the Gauntlet Trials which The Bishop is completely against. But the ladies want to do it. They want to show their men that even though they want to stay home and be wives having kids that they are still fierce and strong enough to stand by their sides. In this book, they find out someone they thought was dead is in fact alive and The Twelve need to rescue them.
I gave this book a 4-star rating and a 4-spicy rating. I enjoyed it so much I read it in a night. But being as short as it is and with so much going on I didn't like getting confused at times. I love how even 5 books into the series Lucian Bane still has me guessing and surprising me with his writing. I can't wait to read the next book. I recommend this book to anyone who likes MC books or dark thriller/suspense work. You definitely need to start with book 1 if you want to ever understand the rest of the series.

'Lesion' is the fifth book in Lucian Bane's "Bayou Bishops" series. I feel like I owe this author an apology for not grabbing this book as soon as it came out, even though he is a favorite of mine, but sometimes life and obligations get in the way. That being said, Mr. Bane delivers a stellar storyline with Lesion and Tully's story. If you haven't started the series, it's never too late. If you have, then you'll remember Lesion has a very analytical, black, and white sense of reasoning. Emotions of any kind have not been a part of his forte. Enter Tully. She's "sunshine, rainbows, and unicorns" with absolutely no filter from thought to mouth. Watching these two come together and emotionally grow, not only as individuals but as a couple has been a treasure to see. Thank goodness for Lady Eveque. While these two are dealing with emotions, Revelator and Cherie find themselves on opposite sides of what each feels the right thing to do is. Revelator is having visions of Cherie leaving and blood everywhere but he's too close to the situation to be able to see details of any kind, which has him in a panic. That brings the twelve together so they can make a rescue. Unfortunately, plans are changed when they receive a message there is a Rat guarding the swamp. There's no stopping the fast-paced action in this one but our Bishops find time to make sure their "wives" get a little pampering through it all.

Lesion is the bayou medicine man he likes to test and map everything he finds he is told by Revelator that they were going to a rescue and that when they go in the building that there is a woman who they need to save other than his woman and Lesion needs to take care of it, when Lesion finds and rescues the girl she attaches herself to him like clue. Lesion is surprised at the strange feeling in his stomach and he wanted to take Tully the young woman to the Hag who raised him but when she offered to be his subject he decided to keep her. A sweet and funny look at a guy who knows nothing about women on science but is scared to commit to a woman especially Tully when she starts flirting. Romantic suspense, violence, danger, love. I purchased a copy of this book. I am volunteering an honest review.

Oh man!

Things just aren’t working out too well for the Revelator and Cherie. So much love, so much fear and anger. Maggie unwittingly helps her drop out of sight after Cherie finds out her baby she thought had perished years ago is actually alive and held by her husband Lazarus in his compound.
Lesion is definitely on a steep learning curve when it comes to Tully and navigating the definitely strange to him feelings.
So much going on! And sooo much more to come! I can’t wait!

4.5 ⭐️

Oh shit things are picking up and getting more and more intense. Tully is so child like that I'm starting to wonder if it's all true or a bit of an act. Lesion and his chemicals, that's how he figures his feelings out. It's seems like Belle Eveque is coming into her own, and Eveque is not too happy about it. Then there's Revelator and Cherie. Oh man, poor Cherie. To find that out. I would probably do the same thing. Revelator will do everything he can for his Cherie. Her uncles were just hilarious. I'm so excited for the next book.

Lesion was great. Tully is so in love with Lesion but he's not sure if he is in love. He knows that he is constantly thinking about her and the things he wants to do and learn from her but he isn't sure that it's love because he doesn't know what love is. With the problems coming up for the 12 in the near future it will probably take him some time to know for sure.

This is another 5 star story for Lucian Bane and I really look forward to his next book.

Powerful

So many lessons to be learned as each of the 12 navigate new territory. Lesion traversing equations he's never had to calculate. The Seer taking steps so much further in his fight for his Cherie, and each taking lessons from the latter.
The gauntlet is going to be fun to watch drop as these women grow under the 12. So excited to see what happens next. A powerhouse of heart and fire in these Bishops!

Fantastic Story!! Packs an emotional punch. Lesion and Tully are different. She’s tiny and comes on like a fizzy sweet drink in love with life. Lesion on the other hand was happy as he was, in his own serious little world……. that is until her tiny whirlwind took over his life. Tully isn’t a pushover but Lesion is certainly finding himself to be one. Please hurry up and finish their story! 🩷🩷🩷

So exciting

Lesion has become a favorite in the world of the Bayou Bishops. Tully has so much energy and her love for Lesion comes out in that energy. He was not raised to know what all these feelings mean but soon will figure it out. Life is complicated in the swamps for The Twelve and what’s to come is going to be one hell of a ride.

Laughed and loved

I have never had so many emotions in one book before, wanting to skull thump someone so bad in my life, but I expect nothing less from Lucian Bane. But with these 12 I have never felt a pure love pour from the pages of a book before. Tully is a beautiful soul inside and out and brings so much light to Lesion. Can't wait for the next one.

Yet another engaging book in this series. The story continues with The Twelve striving to rescue Raphael but The Seer is only seeing so much and Lesion is trying to understand his feelings for Tully. I love the diverse characters in this series and their individuality. The books are fairly short but none the less pack a punch. I can't wait to read the next installment.

Another amazing part😘

Things are getting real now. The men will have to officially marry their women, and consummate said joining. Now the women have to undergo the trails, and the men don't really want them to pass, but they can't cheat either. So much is about to happen. Can't wait for the next one.

Lesion and Sully's story. Though he is the mastermind for poisons and natural drugs that are gained from nature, it's a bit off-putting to have Sully seem simple-minded. However her innocence and seeming to always find the joy in life is what I love about Lesion's love for and need to protect her.

Not to crazy about having to continually reading the series with the because each book is an incomplete tale of each relationship. Leaving my review until I finish the series, or however far I get in case it isn't complete.

It’s a very well written book and I enjoyed the storyline because it’s just a continuation of the first four books. It appears that cleaning up the swamp is not nearly as easy as they initially thought. There wasn’t a lot of information about the storyline we had in this book more like a filler on where relationship stood and hopefully the next book will get more exciting things.

Left Hanging

All previous installations left enough information as to where the next was leading. This one left me hanging.

Still looking forward to the next installment. Still love the character development and the fast pace of the acrion.

The swamp is getting busy

Lesion has trouble understanding what he feels for Tully. Samuel has a vision the scares him like no other. The Bishops conspire to control the Gauntlet Trials. And there's a rat in their midst. The swamp is getting busy and then some!

Do I or don't I

I understand unfinished business and cliff hangers but this one really left us out there! You gave us two choices.to either buy the next one and keep going in order to understand any of this book or get mad and quit. I'll keep going but you are forcing it on me.

Good series

So far all the books have been so good. You have to start at book 1 and just keep going. I read the first 5 books in. A matter of a few days. Now to keep on going because I need to know what happens.

Sneaky men!

The 12 or is it 14, add in the Seer and Little Bishop. I love how they keep trying to control their women. For men who haven't been around women much, it's so damn funny.
